I forgot to say that you can put card etc in the back side as well but be careful that they do not move when you put them in the laminater xx
Brilliant idea Anne especially the stamps, you come up with such useful and clever ideas, tyfs x
@@jansfield5314 thank you Jan xx
I was just thinking of putting a thin piece of DSP in the back so it doesn't get wasted. That way you could get two envelopes out of one piece of laminate! Absolutely a great project!!!
Positively Papercraft I was thinking the same thing the whole time I was watching, why waste the backside? Thanks for the update!
I was thinking that as I watched you! Thanks
Claire Gagne left me a comment letting me know you have used the method of one side lamination and credited me. Awesome! I cringed a bit that the other side of the lamination was not used also. i don't like to waste anything. But awesome job. Thank you warmly from the heart. Blessings love
Thank you for your fab technique :-) yes I was so excited I forgot to add my bits to the other side lol. Thank you again :-)
Save the laminating sheet “back” piece, they are great for die cut stencils. Cos the sheet has white paper on makes no difference. Heat has made sheet harder so cuts really well. And best bit......no waste!
Alternatively, put images on both sides with copier paper between than you get most use out of laminator sheet.
@@cazee100 I agree , that back sheet you know stick something in there, love it great idea
Very clever ideas!! And I bet you didn't use the other side because you didn't have anything planned out and you were just happy to get your video completed. ;)
@@cazee100 I was just wondering about if this idea would work,,,,,,, thanks.
Super idea
What an amazing idea! I just love that you can have it protected but you can glue it down and not worry if it will stay! I just love this!!!! You can make less waste, if you have two different papers you have stamped or printed you can put them back to back (plain side to plain side) put in your lamination pouch and run it through. If you leave yourself enough room on the edges you wont need a piece of paper between them because you can trim away a bit of both sides and then pull apart as you did.
Hi there, I'm a true papercrafter/hoarder and found myself saying out loud "no don't throw the unstuck ones away"! Sew them on your sewing machine. Is there anyone else out ther thinking the same? Thanks for sharing ... such a great idea ☺
Yes!
If you used two pieces of the pretty paper/cardstock back-to-back, there'd be no need for copy paper wastage. Especially if you were making many of these pouches. Just a thought.
Thank you for sharing 😊
So clever! Love the demo! Could you put pictures face down, two pieces of typing paper, and finally a layer with the pics facing up (four layers in the sleeve) - laminate. . .then cut apart and you would have TWO layers of pictures that are laminated on one side when you were done. Does that make sense? Because are you "wasting" one side of the lamination the way it is demonstrated? I am in NO WAY trying to criticize the demonstration, but rather understand the lamination process and how it can be done. God bless and thank you again for the lovely demonstration!!
I was thinking exactly like you and you have given a lovely explanation. Thank you and God bless...Stay safe.
Yes, first thought that popped into my mind as well.
I was just going to message the same thing, yu then get use out of both sides of laminate x
I’m another one that wondered the same.
What a clever idea. I also wondered how you could do it without so much waste so I put my first piece I wanted to laminate in one side then flipped the laminate pouch over to the other side, opened the laminate pouch and inserted a second piece I wanted laminated. So your two pieces of the white paper are sandwiched between the designs you want to laminate. Cause the laminating machine heats up both sides. If that makes sense x
Such a cute idea! Tfs ❤️
This is a game changer! Awesome, thanks again Ann : )
Love, love, love this! Brilliant thinking! ❤️🦋
Same Technique! EXCEPT.... I have a tip to share with you.. Maximize your laminates, by putting an images on each side of the paper sandwhich, to get use of Both laminant sheets 🙃🙂 Thank you for sharing. I Often do this when making stickers... and, how I "preserve" colored leaves, that I want to use as stickers
This is brilliant! Now I know how I can laminate my homemade stickers! 😲❤️👍🏻
Another sensational idea Ann.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us all. It’s really really helpful and useful too. I’ve been trying something similar with the Matt pouches and napkins but I watched someone do this, but I put napkins on both sides, so I got two out of one pouch, give this a try. I really really love 💕 what I got from this. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
