Driving Across America - Ohio to Utah - HD 50 fps Time Lapse
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 29 янв 2015
- This is a time-lapse drive across America starting in Ohio and ending in Utah. Pictures taken approximately 1 per second, and rendered at 50 frames per second. It's long, I know, but it's awesome. Watch the clouds for a bit, they're cool.
I apologize for some times when my camera lost focus, and couldn't handle the sun.

Greetings in Philippines 🇵🇭
I love my road trip from Bauan to Lipa across Batangas, Philippine 🇵🇭 since April 19,2024 1:43 pm to 5:10 pm
WOW! talk about dejavu. I've been on that highway so many times I know what's coming up even at that speed. COOL VIDEO.
The nighttime part is the best! The streaming headlights, the reflecting roadsigns, the glint off the car hood.
Hit pause or freeze frame for an extra big surprize!

At 2x speed, it's half of orbital velocity. About 8000 mph.

Amazing video. I want to drive from the east coast to California, any tips?
Becomes Monday at 15:28.
Actually the time in the video is an hour behind, so it really becomes Monday at 14:35.
I've got 1 question
Do you need to change license plates when you enter a different state? Cuz I sometimes see trucks with more plates
Ah ok
I commented before but I have another question. When using this camera, you hook it to your laptop and when the camera is on, the pictures appear on the laptop? How do you actually make a timelapse. There must be features on the camera. I am thinking about getting this camera because I love this video. Any tips on this camera?
+Jeremiah Deschine awesome. Thank you ! Great information
Great video! How did you build the clock?
In Adobe premiere I created some sequences that cycled 0 thru 9 and put them on to more sequences that cycled 0 thru 59 (for the minutes) and 12 thru 11 for the hours. Once I had those built, I just adjusted them to fit the time frame of the over all video and cycled them as I needed. It was not a short process.
Did you use any shutter? What camera / app did you use?
⛈️🌩️
What were your settings. Was it 1 frame per second at 50 FPS?
21:10 Rest area to watch the sunrise
How did you do this? What camera did you use? Did you just set it up and let it run, or did you have to do anything to it like change out SD cards and the like? I'm curious because I'd like to do something like this too. Great video btw.
Edit: What interval did you use, what is the resolution, and how many GB are all the pictures total?
Elijah Masquelier I recorder this video several years ago. I used my laptop and a USB webcam, a Microsoft something or other, that was mounted to my windshield with a suction cup. I used a program that took a picture every second and because I used my laptop I didn't need to worry about running out of storage. I had actually recorded the drive in the opposite direction but my hard drive failed. I ended up with almost 100k images. I ran them through Adobe Lightroom to clear them up a bit and used Adobe Premier to create the video. It was a long process. My computer struggled to process that many images :) but was worth it.
Arkinats thanks for the quick response. I didn't think about the possibility of hooking up a USB webcam to my windshield..
im planning a trip from california to ohio its guna be a long drive
juan ramirez I'm leaving from Connecticut to San Diego in about 2 months or so. Enjoy your trip ✌
Eye just watched for the first time the thoughts that goes through my head when I'm at the eye exam doctor and he/she gives me this hand held "detonator"device and tells me to look into this machine and when you see a flashing light press the button. 😁
