Time Lapse Driving from a Desert into a Snow Storm
Просмотров 2 тыс.3 года назад
A time lapse taken in January of 2013. i drove from Surprise, AZ and was headed to SLC, UT. Somewhere north of Beaver, UT I received a phone call and it turned off my time lapse app on my phone. Snow starts at 3:30. I got caught in a pretty bad storm and the chains I had were for an older car with smaller tires and they didn't fit. All the hardware stores were closed and I couldn't buy any chai...

Driving Through Icy Roads and Fog 4k 60fps
Просмотров 7347 лет назад
Driving from Provo, UT to Window Rock, AZ on Dec 23, 2016. It had snowed recently and the roads through Utah & Colorado were bad. Visibility was poor through several sections. We had an infant with us who slept through the first half of the trip. But when she woke up we were constantly pulling over to feed her or change her diaper. Recorded with a GoPro 4 Black at .5 seconds between shots & ren...
4k Timelapse Sunrise to Sunset Wasatch Mountains
Просмотров 1687 лет назад
I made this as a basic 4k timelapse test. It's a simple sunrise to sunset 1 pic every 10 seconds & done at 25 fps. Shot with a GoPro 4 black & pro-tunes enabled. The flickering, I believe, is caused by GoPro's pro-tunes. Next time, no pro-tunes and a tuning in Adobe Lightroom for more consistency. Hence the test :D

This is a time lapse while driving from Lake Powell to Interstate 15 in July of 2013. Shot using a Samsung S5, at 720p, basically potato quality. 1 picture every 2 seconds, 20 frames per second. But then encoded at 200% at 30 fps.

A timelapse I took the day after Christmas 2012 driving from Orem, UT to Saint Michaels, AZ. I started the recording late, about two hours into the drive in Wellington. There was snow everywhere and it was a beautiful drive. Pictures taken every 5 seconds with my Samsung Galaxy S3 & LapseitPro. Rendered at 50 fps with Adobe Premiere CC 2014.

Eye just watched for the first time the thoughts that goes through my head when I'm at the eye exam doctor and he/she gives me this hand held "detonator"device and tells me to look into this machine and when you see a flashing light press the button. 😁 TOM TUCKER: "How's the weather, "Ollie". OLLIE: NOT TOO BAD..😎

That turtle is gonna die in 69 years
Aah, is just one turtle, but still the tank is too small!
The turtles need a basking area & heating/UV light! The tank is wayyyyyy too small! Too many rocks, they might choke if they try to eat them! Just be aware of that!
Don't put your hand in there 😳
I hope this is just a feeding tank, but cool to see the turtle chow down
this is what it goes Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado & Utah
Would you be able to re-upload one of your older time lapses? /watch?v=CYrPvwZDbnU got copyright strike'd, and it was an absolute favourite of mine :(
I can't copy paste the link but I'm thinking that's the one from Arizona to Utah, desert to snow storm?
yup
Those turtles NEED DRY BASKING SPACE!
Great video! How did you build the clock?
In Adobe premiere I created some sequences that cycled 0 thru 9 and put them on to more sequences that cycled 0 thru 59 (for the minutes) and 12 thru 11 for the hours. Once I had those built, I just adjusted them to fit the time frame of the over all video and cycled them as I needed. It was not a short process.
Why is it bright out at 5:40 am?
Benjamin Davis because it was summer
I think it was made in April 2014
Me and my brother recently drove from here (Utah) to Ohio and back two weeks ago and it was a good drive going through Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and Wyoming was dope Cool video
Crosses the Mississippi @ 8:28
that had a lot of stops
It did! Travelling with a new born can be rough :)
nice turtle! but i think you need a bigger tank for an res
How did you do this? What camera did you use? Did you just set it up and let it run, or did you have to do anything to it like change out SD cards and the like? I'm curious because I'd like to do something like this too. Great video btw. Edit: What interval did you use, what is the resolution, and how many GB are all the pictures total?
Elijah Masquelier I recorder this video several years ago. I used my laptop and a USB webcam, a Microsoft something or other, that was mounted to my windshield with a suction cup. I used a program that took a picture every second and because I used my laptop I didn't need to worry about running out of storage. I had actually recorded the drive in the opposite direction but my hard drive failed. I ended up with almost 100k images. I ran them through Adobe Lightroom to clear them up a bit and used Adobe Premier to create the video. It was a long process. My computer struggled to process that many images :) but was worth it.
Arkinats thanks for the quick response. I didn't think about the possibility of hooking up a USB webcam to my windshield..
I love it how he is always stick his head up for oxygen xD
I'm actually from Lorain and go to that Walmart all the time!
yeah I like the first song. It fucks with you.
WOW! talk about dejavu. I've been on that highway so many times I know what's coming up even at that speed. COOL VIDEO.
im planning a trip from california to ohio its guna be a long drive
juan ramirez I'm leaving from Connecticut to San Diego in about 2 months or so. Enjoy your trip ✌
I've got 1 question Do you need to change license plates when you enter a different state? Cuz I sometimes see trucks with more plates
Ah ok
Sun's getting deeper and higher and faster and louder then lower and slower.
The nighttime part is the best! The streaming headlights, the reflecting roadsigns, the glint off the car hood. Hit pause or freeze frame for an extra big surprize!
