    i live in the u.k and own an engwe engine x. it has a 13ah battery but i added another 25ah on the back and i get about 85 miles and i'm a really heavy rider at about 260lbs! not bad for a cadence sensor but i prefer that as it doesn't require any effort at all. torque sensor is more efficient though and is great especially for people new to ebiking as it is more natural.

      Nice! 85 miles is a lot of range. That’s awesome. Yah cadence sensors are great for that on demand power and near effortless riding at max speed. It’s a different riding experience for sure.

    Bro, great test! important for me to know the real range! I’ve ridden another bikes with 4 shock absorbers before, but now g-force RS’s Magic Suspension with 6 shock absorbers is on another level. The extra stability on rough terrain makes every ride feel smoother and safer.

    Great video. Very interesting ebike for sure. It is very weird that the second to last bar quickly depleted to 1 bar. Regardless looks to be a overall great ebike. Thanks for the great reviews.

      Thank you so much. Yah I saw similar behavior with their L20 2.0. Kind of makes you nervous for bit because you think it’s about to go empty on you. But in both bikes, that last bar lasts forever. Very deceiving haha.

      Thanks! Weather is also finally cooling down haha. During the summer I sometimes dread the range tests 🤣.

      Hello! Anytime 😊. This is the mirror I use on the bikes I ride amzn.to/3sR8Wie (Amazon affiliate link). It’s made by a company called Meachow and has worked out well for me over the past year.

    Please note that you will get no customer support from them. If anything is to go wrong with your bike. They are quite quick to blame everyone else. But solving the issue is not their problem.

    There's zero logic to claim that you get less or much less range if you use the throttle instead of pedal-assist!
    If anything you will get far more range if you use the throttle only when you and your legs really need some battery power.

    • @tomsgadgetgarage
      @tomsgadgetgarage  Месяц назад

      For sure. When manufacturers list their throttle and PAS range estimates, it's either one or another on the ride. In reality, many people use a combination of both. I haven't done a throttle-only test on this bike, but I'm sure it will go further than the 30 miles they have listed. I've found the throttle estimates listed often understate actual performance, whereas PAS estimates are usually inflated.

      It funny you say that because I got a engwe e pro 2 and they say 75 miles pedal assist but lower with throttle so I always assumed you get more out of pedaling idk 😅

      @shaunarzu4558 Yes but riders pedal when they want if they're using the throttle just as they pedal when they want when "pensioners pedelec" "assist" keeps overriding our own intelligence and free will to impose its own fascistic interfering notions of how much pedal bl**dy assist we need....
