This is the review!! You set the standard on this i have an ep2 pro still has front headset rock tried everything still got it has that been cured with this new bike great quality review as always you da man
Based on your sterling I7 review, I ended up buying the Vitilan because it had the best spec for the money... and ticked most of my boxes. I toyed with the idea of a dual motor but I liked how you mentioned that the bike rode nicely without the motor running. Sadly, I still haven't ridden the bike yet because it came with a couple of post tubes for the front axle missing 😔 Such a beautiful bike to look at though, and I'll always be grateful to you and your many jaunts up Sandy Lane 😊👍
Hey man, thanks for your real test!! It VS g-force rs bike... Was a very tough buying decision..... But in the end the half-handle throttle sealed the deal for me. After struggling with thumb throttles for years, this is so much easier on my hands for extended rides.
@@QuijadaVanwagoner no worries. I don't tend to mind which throttle but I'd say I probably prefer thumb. But pedal assist and cruise control means I don't really mind
hi bro, you can try it! Been riding bikes for over 20 years and bought an electric one last year, yes, it's RS, worked perfectly all day. has a 28 mph top speed, which is great for longer commutes or quick errands.
I absolutely love my 1st generation engine pro and oddly ìt gives me better economy on moderate hills than on flats because of its energy recovery that the new pro hasn't. It sounds counter intuitive but its true. Thank you for this long awaited review ànd your up front honesty.
@@ironian24 cheers. Yeah I did find after riding it for a while it was nice to cruise at 18mph with very little effort and when you want to go faster put a bit of effort in to get an extra 10mph.
I've had mine for a couple of months and for the price, this has been a good buy. It does everything well, from light trails ( and some nasty ones) to roadwork and with a bag on the back its good for nipping to the shops. No sign of anything breaking or rusting but no use as a folding bike, its just too heavy. Keeps up easily with my sons £5k mtb, on the road, not so much on trails. Overall, very impressed but it is my first ebike. Oh and yes, the rubber is not good on wet roads.

I think the closest I got to one of those was the Wau Cyber I tested a year and a bit ago. When I get to the point where I'm getting lots of disposable income I may look into it.
the e26 or this one? first time buyer for me and wifey. is the torque sensor really worth it? how about torque? seems that the e26 climbed the hill faster?
@@NoExceptionsGuy I prefer the E26 however it is quite big compared to this. I sold mine to an ex police woman and got that reason she sold it on for a smaller bike. However she loved it whilst she had it.
Yeah I've ridden a friends e26 it is big! You can adjust the pedal assistance % levels etc in the software is that correct? I like the customisation possibilities.
@NoExceptionsGuy yeah I'm pretty sure you can. I'm not a massive fan of torque sensors but a lot of people like them as it just magnifies your effort whereas the cadence sensor on the E26 gives 100% power of the level you're in no matter how little effort you put in. I like to have the ability to have 100% when being lazy. Having said that the engine pro has a throttle which negates that issue with the torque sensor.
I am trying to decide between the Vitilan I7 Pro 3 and the Engwe Engine Pro 2. Does the cadence sensor in the vitilan I7 pro cause the bike to speed off dangerously? Compared to the seemingly more controlled torque sensor of the Engine Pro? Also, the throttle only goes to 20 mph on the Engwe Engine Pro. Is it a little bit slow? I think I am veering towards the I7 pro 3, but im just interested to know if anyone could give me their experiences on either of these bikes.
@@KS-cp9up overall I prefer the Vitilan. But I prefer cadence sensors. Throttle on the Engwe goes to 20 which is weird but you can pedal with motor assistance faster than that. I prefer cadence sensors and while you could argue it's more likely to 'shoot off' that's only really when you're not on it and you're being careless. If you're riding slow use a lower assist level. Also the torque sensor on the engine pro doesn't have the quick power delivery usually associated with torque sensors. However that doesn't matter if you'll be using the throttle.
