Tough choice, personally I like the X24 more as the X26 is way to big. I also like the torque sensor on the PRO 2.0. Both bikes are 50km/h fast, both have good torque. The range on the X is bigger but it's also a heavier bike. You can also check the official site to see which is cheaper ( engwe-bikes-eu.com/collections/step-through/products/l20-boost?ref=newproduct ), also you can try to apply the codes €50 off for e-bikes below €999, code: influencer30off €100 off for e-bikes from €1000 to €1499, code: influencer50off €150 off for e-bikes from €1500 to €1999, code: influencer150off €200 off for e-bikes over €2000, code: influencer200off
Hi. I really enjoy your videos and finally i decided to go for engineX or engine pro 2.0. Almost pushed the buy button, when i saw a comment that new versions of these bikes can't be unlocked for speed and throttle anymore. Since you are an expert on these bikes, my question is to you directly...can engineX or engine pro 2.0 still be unlocked if i buy it now (November 2024) for EU market? Appreciate your honest reply. Best regards, Jure
I have also read that some people didn't manage to unlock them, but I'm not sure that ENGWE did another change and locked them or they simply did not apply the correct method for their model.
hello I received it 2 days ago on France and method to unlock speed dont work, after pression + and - display flashes so I press + for some second and for my version all menu settings scroll 1,2,3... instead of the screen remaining frozen as on the video. I bought it for the fast unlock speed (like say on the EU engwe shop sheet) to use on private road half and half on city, so it' a problem. engwe support say unlock is now impossible for all counties and I'll couldn't replace display with a US display to have the speed unlock, I dont now if it's true cause some customer who bought last weeks in other countries look to be able to unlock speed like on this video method. very old stock? different display on some country?
ENGWE will start locking bikes because users keep abusing them, there were a lot of incidents with bikes taken the police, big fines, nasty accidents, etc, all of that because people unlock and ride recklessly. Even so, some had the nerve to blame it on the ENGWE. So it's highly possible they are going to hard lock their models...
It's very simple, people were unlocking it and running it full power until melted the battery and also complained about "poor range". Some users also complained that their bikes were seized by the police because they did more than 25km/h. You can thank all those users for that. ENGWE took measures and locked it. They will probably lock all their models because of these kind of users.
Can't seem to find anything like this on the original engine Pro anyone know if this works on that as well
Why some user that have received a new eu pro 2.0 say that they can’t unlock it no more? Any idea?
Plenty of reasons, reckless riding, police bike seizures, full speed long rides until they melt down the battery, etc.
@@TechTronic9000 so if you buy now a new eu pro 2.0 you can’t unlock it anymore? That is what you saying?
Of course u can u may have to use a different way but once parts haven't changed u should be good ✌️
I am wondering this as well @@grigoris_dev8999
@@grigoris_dev8999 I just bought eu version and its easy to unluck btw just so u know
Thank you very much!
You're welcome!
any idea how to remove throttle entirely ?
Menu 10 - 0
yes, i don't like the bike throttle, g-force rs's half-handle throttle is more comfortable for me.
Please which one is the best between engwe engine pro 2.0 and engwe X26

Excellent!
Thank you! Cheers!
HelloHELP ME
I got password or something befor i can go into the settings
I don't have any idea of a password unless someone else used the bike before and set one.
it doesn't work anymore!!! engwe lied. they blocked the unlocking for Europe
Yes, that's right, they lied now it's no longer possible to unlock it.

My bike arrived today and it worked just as the videos.
