      I don’t understand the right handle bar shifter. Is that just when your riding the bike without power. Or do you have to shift gears with that and the right bar speed 1-5 at the same time.

    • @Movelectrics
      @Movelectrics  6 месяцев назад +2

    Excellent bike for the money.owned mine for 2 trouble free years and covered 1000 miles with my Terrier on the back.. fitted a lower geared 1st gear .. pumped tyre sealant into the inner tubes and made up some mud flaps ..also fitted an underside guard from the crank to above the key the crap and moisture out .. another tip is to stick ( sacrificial) insulation tape around the folding joint ..keeps the contact points dry between controller and battery and easy to remove. Highly recommended

It happened here in Sweden around 16:45 Sunday February 2024. We suspected that they are group roaming around to stole ebike or elscooter. Awesome video like always!

    • @Movelectrics
      @Movelectrics  11 месяцев назад +7

      Not a specific IP rating listed but does mention it’s water resistant.
      My guess like many PEVs is that it’s around IP54. Ok in light rain. But what I would simply do is cover the point where the bike folds with cling film so water cannot trickle into the battery compartment. I done this on my old e-bike and rode it in rain constantly and not once did I have an issue.

    Hi mate, I just got this bike primarily because it's a folding bike and I commute on the train. Could u do a full demo of the easiest technique to fold it and the best way to manoeuvre it around when it's folded. You have to fold Ur bike to get on the train between 1630-1830 at the entry barriers. So you need to roll the bike to the bike carriage of the train. I just wanted a demo of that please?

    • @Movelectrics
      @Movelectrics  10 месяцев назад +2

      Handlebars are straight. The quick release is not meant to be in the middle as you can see from the video. As I mention, attach the handlebars first then align everything. The handlebars I think are actually the perfect width for a bike of this size, plenty of stability.

      @@Movelectrics I just looked it up, and it says that bikes with motors higher than 250W or speeds faster than 25 km/h are illegal in my country (Denmark). Can I still change the speed limit though? I’d be really glad if you could help me with answering this question. And btw On the Engwe the website it says “EU” and “International” versions of the bike. Which one did you use in this video? And what’s the difference between them?

      You should able to on the p-settings menu.
      UPDATE: I searched many places online to see if it can be deactivated but no luck. I never took notice because it doesn’t enable when you pedal, which is what always done.

    The brakes won't be as good as they can be if you don't take time to bed them in from new, basic stuff.

      Absolutely. After a few KMs they are much better. Semi-hydraulic brakes would be possible to for I’d say on this. Xtech brakes.
