Love your review, pretty useful! I’ve ridden the bike with 4 shock absorbers before, but the RS’s Magic Suspension with 6 shock absorbers is on another level. The extra stability on rough terrain makes every ride feel smoother and safer.
It would be pretty awkward to carry up a flight of stairs because of the weight unless you had someone to help, it's doable for sure but it's not something I would want to do often. If you want something more compact and lightweight I would check out the P20 - ruclips.net/video/5hP5a-MsFjI/видео.html
Just got back from a long ride on mine. Love this bike. Really good for the woods, hills and dirt bike riding. It's like a tank. Yes heavy and difficult if you get stuck at gates. Get fed up of maintaining screws nuts that keep coming loose so you need to keep checking on things before going out often. I got the Engwe pro v1 I get 35mph throttle, go into the settings to unlock the top speed. Bikes much safer on the road than conventional bikes.
Good review…my Pro 2.0 is due to be delivered today, hopefully at 64 years of age,i’ll be able to work out the display unit and unlock the restrictions, this will be my first ebike,it’ll be used for leisure riding, country roads and byways,i am hoping our police will concentrate on catching proper criminals instead of stopping us old farts on ebikes, looks reasonably straightforward to assemble it,also been advised to just check the other nuts and bolts are nipped up,as i will have my tools out, that’ll be an easy job,any more tips?
Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy the bike, yes the bike is pretty straight forward to put together, sometimes the manuals for doing so aren't so great but there are usually videos online showing you how to do so. The controls are very simple you will get the hang of them, I would say just take your time and get to learn the bike and enjoy it.
I am enjoying the bike,i have put a set of bmx style handlebars on it,while i had the brake levers off i put the rear brake lever on the left side and the front one on the right side,a motorcycle tank bag i had fits a treat on the rack, done about 200 miles so far
03:59 hai del liquido che esce dal motore e scorre sui raggi della ruota. Anche sulla mia ho questo problema. Di cosa si tratta? Ho pulito ed è di colore nero....grazie per la tua risposta
Hi, can you charge the battery while out of the bike? I want to buy this bike but I need to be able to bring the battery into my apartment to charge it. My bike parking space does not have eletricity.
I purchased one of these bikes ( yesterday) and it's got a twist throttle in that the latest that I have brought? of all the clips I have seen here, they all seem to be different bikes? you views would be great thanks
Did you ever find out why throttle is limited to 20mph? I just watched your e26 review and for around the same money being a taller guy (6 foot 2) I cant tell which one would prefer riding the bumps/potholes in my area and being able to fold will make me end up with the 2.0 but unsure
If I had to choose between the E26 and the 2.0 it would be the 2.0 because it's smaller, can fold and also because of the torque sensor making the pedal assist feel alot more natural. The limited throttle speed didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I would go with the E26 only if you prefer the look and want a bigger bike
Ive just bought one and I can't get the settings to let it go over 16 mph on electric, you managed to set yours higher. I was under the impression that it was possible to do that as you and others I've watched have been given a bike that doesn't seem to be UK spec. I think engwe have pulled a mean trick on us that have paid a lot of money for a bike that isnt what we expected. BTW im not blaming you I'm just devastated and i feel conned.
Sure but only if you don't need to lift it on any of your routes as it is a very heavy bike. So if you need to take it on any public transport or lift it to store it away it's not ideal for that situation. Certainly doable but I would go for something lighter
I'm from the UK and was considering buying one of these bikes but after reading the review that states the UK version cannot be unlocked I will go elsewhere
Just bought this as my first ebike. Did notice the charger overheat. Have you had any problems with that or is it just mine. I burnt my finger trying to pick it up to move it. Any ideas?🚴😎
I remember it getting hot most power bricks do during charging, but that sounds excessive. Please contact Engwe and make sure your charger is safe and never leave big batteries charging unattended. Just a friendly reminder. Thanks, if you have any further issues, let me know.

Thanks for the info!
"Don't half ass it; just give us what we need"... Perfectly stated!
When this is folded, how difficult is it to get up a single flight of stairs to a first floor apartment without scraping the walls off?

The older model has a rotation sensor instead of the torque sensor, so you won't put much effort into pedaling.

I didn't notice it after this, could be some kind of excess lubricant.
What is the motor brand and wattage and what was your top speed you got from this ??
Ciao , é possibile togliere fisicamente l'acceleratore lasciando il clacson elettronico?

Yes you can take the battery out and charge it outside of the bike.

I think a twist throttle is better, atleast I prefer it.
Hi,it is simple to assemble?
Yes, having an extra person to help you hold the bike is helpful though
The D Show, Thanks for posting this video

Can you try this to unlock the speed and let me know if it works - drive.google.com/file/d/1sF4mb_whJdO0GRCuvG8-g94zSEld_ep5/view?usp=drivesdk
I removed are other comments please let me know how you fixed it?
@@TheDShow hold down plus and minus until you get to settings then hold down plus for 15 seconds. 😊
@@TheDShow in that setting it's locked to 16 mph and won't change on mine.
OK great thanks for sharing. Does it then allow you to change it?
Recommend as a commuter bike ?

Wrong
Whats the main differences this type 2.0 and old type?
The 2.0 has more torque, a torque sensor and a slightly more powerful battery. But I haven't tested the 1.0
@@TheDShow is that type 2.0 the type of 1000 W with 16 aH battery?
