    2 years later but still very helpful. About to sublimate the spiral ring ones for the first time. Thank you for your videos. They are straight to the point and easy to follow.

    I wish I would have seen this video before I tried to make my notebook. I bought the same small notebook with the rings as well as the leather one. I watched a video on how to make the notebook but my spiral cover wrinkled. The temperature she used was 400* at 60 seconds. That was too hot and too long.
    I searched for your channel Angie but for some reason you weren't coming up. Thank you so much for these videos! I will try this again and leave another comment on how it turned out.

    Thanks for the very interesting video! I may have an idea for the spine of the feather notebook. I would put a piece of cardboard (same thickness as the covers) in the spine, so that all parts of the notebook (sides and spine) are at the same height when you apply the heat press. Then after sublimation, remove the piece of cardboard. I haven’t tried sublimation yet, but seeing you showing us all these cool ideas makes me want to try :).

    I am so happy with the notebook cover that I just made. I used 330* for 40 seconds on my HTVRont heat press. It turned out beautifully!

  • @lisamoyer9402
    @lisamoyer9402 Год назад +1

    Fantastic! I was thinking that maybe the reason the spine was less is because it didn't have the cardboard which gave the entire surface the same thickness. I would probably cut a little piece of cardboard to "fill" that spot to keep it all even. This is great! Thank you so much for your help.

    Thank you for the video. I ordered some of those sublimation notebooks on Prime Day. They work great. I just tried a Jot Glitter composition notebook from Dollar Tree. It's the one with a more smooth surface. It worked great. I had to use 400 degrees with my Easypress, but it looks great! Thanks again.

      Yep. I always put something on them while hot and allow to cool while pressed flat.

    On the journal spine I found rolling a small piece of felt and tape it to the spine.

    I’ve just started playing with sublimation using a heat press, and I’ve had luck tacking a laminating sheet onto cardboard first, just for a few seconds, then sublimating onto that. It seems like that might work on the glitter cover notebooks… maybe?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 года назад +1

      OH I am sure you can add something to it to make it work. I don't like doing that if I can help it!

    I have sublimated onto sequinned note books, just make sure all the sequins are facing the same way. If its done right you can hide the design

    Hi do you need to cover the whole cover not part of it so to avoid the tricky springs?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  4 месяца назад

      I think it would depend on the notebook you are sublimating.

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  3 месяца назад

      Always follow the time and temperature recommendations where you purchase your sublimation blanks. 385 F for 45 seconds is a good starting point for blanks like this if you can't find it.

    Hi Angie
    Could you give a tutorial on how to unzip files and create a file for a specific design. In other word organize files. I couldn't get bundle files cause I don't know how to do it. Thank you.

    Have you ever tried using adhesive glitter vinyl to sub on and then place the sticker on a notebook? Would it melt? Could you sub on Glitter Htv and it stay like a sticker? Just curious! Thanks for the video and trying stuff out for us!
