Hey Cori! Im a first time watcher! And wow how beautiful of a job you did! I love the bigger journal and the click binding so much! You make it look so easy!
You'd have to cut it down, but maybe something like this? lonestarsublimationblanks.com/products/sublimation-cardstock-12-x-12-5-pack (I haven't tried it myself!)
Great video! Do you think it's possible to sublimate book edges? Do you think the quality would be good? And I guess would need a different shaped heat press? Any tips or thoughts you can offer is much appreciated.
Yes, it's definitely possible. You could do it with a mini press, I bet. There's actually a company I've seen that sells sublimation edge transfers. So, it's definitely possible. I haven't tried yet, though!
Hi, Cori. I have a cinch binding machine and wanted to try making my own notebooks using sublimation sticker vinyl on chipboard or Kraftboard for the covers and more sublimation sticker vinyl to cover the inside covers. Do you think this will work? I have sublimated on blanks from Amazon, and like you, was not completely satisfied with the end results. Thank you for the tutorial.
I definitely think it’s worth a try! I think they also make glossy card stock that you can sublimate onto that might work as well! I don’t have any recommendations offhand, but it might be something to research!
if my subllimination notebook is of a color i.e. red and I just want to have subliminated wording; do I have to try to match uf the color of the notebook?
If you're sublimating red, you'll just want to use black or another dark color for your words. You do not need to sublimate the background. I hope that makes sense!
@@HeyLetsMakeStuff so on the sublimination paper I would just not have a color in the background? and when I subliminate only the letters will show if I use probably black will come out better..
@@jeannettes.riddick6368 Yes, the sublimation paper will just be blank. Because sublimation ink is transparent, you can't sublimate much more than black on red :)
I linked most of the blanks here on Amazon (amzn.to/4cVYLvf). The larger journal blanks are from Etsy (heyletsmakestuff.com/recommends/sublimation-notebook-etsy/)

Thanks for watching!
Great video! Thank you!!!
You are so welcome!
Do you have any idea where to just buy the sublimation card stock for the journal covers so that I can size and make them myself?

Can this be done with the infisible pens and paper?
It can!
The notebook that I made turned out lighter on one side as well. I did them exactly the same.
So weird!

Maybe you should try cinch from memory keepers. It's a game changer!
I actually have a small one! I just need the bigger one, ha!
A5 is supposed to be 5x7 that’s more like a6 size you have
That sounds about right!
