I’m a LOT late to this party. Just wanted to say you are my “ go to” person!! Thank you!!! You make it so people aren’t afraid to jump in and do what they wanted, again thank you!
Thank you Angie for the very good detailed video. I've been sublimating "Silky Socks" for about a year, and they sublimate beautifully. In addition to their socks my second love for their blanks are the 95% polyester shirts. You can't go wrong using their blanks.
If you use a metal jig inside the sock, use easytack or tape to hold firmly the paper onto the sock for a full wrap just as would a tumbler (no need to cut in half and piece the design then) and then wrap your papered sock in jig with aluminum foil (tight), it will help distribute the heat to prevent those seams and no need to roll the sock onto the jig before pressing the second side. With heavy pressure in your press the foil will do the work !
Those are all so cute! I never thought about sublimating socks. I love the pink ones! I think the no show socks are my second favorite. It's just so cute!
Glad I found this video of yours. Just started thinking about sublimating socks and, as always, your video was just what I needed. You are always give such great detail and suggestions. THANK YOU!
Question - when it comes to matching seams, would it not be better to lay the sock slightly askew when sublimating the one side and then roll them the other way? That way you're not bunching them up when it comes to printing the next side.
I just made some socks with faces on them. I used the inserts so they were stretched but they were still very blurry and distorted when I put them on. Do you know what I’m doing wrong. Are there some settings I should be changing. Thank you.
Hi, for the no show socks what measurements did you use? In canvas I put 9.5 inches tall by 4 inches wide and I filled up the whole size of the paper. I’m doing something wrong
I used around that size I think. I measured the sock since they may vary. Maybe make sure your paper size is correct. a 9.5 x 4 inch print should not fill up an 8 1/2 x 11 inch paper.
I have a question.. you went kind of fast clicking around for my brain so I had to keep replaying to see what you did. How did you take the face image and put it on the canvas part that you then duplicated? Not sure if you right clicked or what but after you said zoom out and add it and duplicate I was like… completely lost lol. Now my head hurts so I’ll try again tomorrow but I’m very new to Canva but I did just buy the subscription thinking maybe that’s why I’m confused but it’s the same. Help me Help me lol
I have it linked in the description below the video. Scroll down on computer and click show more. If you are on mobile, swipe up on the video or click the arrow to expand the description.

Hi, how are you? how do you measure for the no show socks? I’m trying to do it in canva?
I've only been trying for about 6 months. The heel part messes me up lol
Thank you for doing this. I spoke with my daughter about doing socks and she said but how do they feel? You answered our question with this demo.

With this brand, they don't recommend the metal jigs.
@@AngieHolden she’s speaking of my method of sublimating socks. I would love for you to try it.
I was literally just telling my daughter today that I wanted to do this and then I saw you posted this video! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Love love love the pink ones too!
Me too!! I wear them all the time!
Thanks for using Canva since not everyone has DS.

Glad you like them!
I've used cutout cardboard for baby socks..not sure if that's ok, but it worked for me, and its free lol
It definitely will work. The inserts I am using are just made to hold up for production purposes.
Thank You Angie, I love it !!!!!
Oh Angie - thank you SO MUCH!! I’ve been wanting to try socks, and NOW thanks to this video - I feel WAY MORE CONFIDENT ABOUT IT!!! 😊😊😊
You can do it!

Silky socks are the Best!!
They are!
Thanks for he video, your socks are so cute! I have a couple pair of sublimation socks to practice on but didn’t know where to start.
Glad it was helpful!
Love this company. Their shirts feel perfect!
I just saw they had shirts. Might be another thing I just have to have!
Amazing video like always! WE LOVEEEEEE the pink socks! So fun. Thanks for sharing, Angie!
Thank you 🤗
I enjoyed your video and very well explained for everything. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Very cute designs. Unfortunately, I am unable to open the sneaker design. Any suggestions?
You should be able to click the link in the description and the listing will open in Etsy. You would have to purchase, download, and then use.
They are the best
Hi Angie may I ask where did you get your tape roll
I have it linked in the description below the video as well.
Question - when it comes to matching seams, would it not be better to lay the sock slightly askew when sublimating the one side and then roll them the other way? That way you're not bunching them up when it comes to printing the next side.
You can definitely play with different methods.
Hi Angie. Congratulations for the awesome work. We are a custom socks manufacturer. What's the procedure to contact you for a video collaboration?
Thank you very much.I love it😍

Hmmmm....did they shrink up when you took them off the form? They should look "skinny" when not on?
Could you use a sublimate spray on the cotton part? That way you can design that too!!
I would just buy a polyester sock then. The point of the cotton part is feel.
hi angie where do i buy the incerts for the socks or can i make my own ones thanks
I have the inserts linked in the description below the video as well!
Hi, I want to sublimate children socks with contrasting heel and toe colors? I’ve searched but have not seen one person do it. Is it possible?
It is possible. It will just be difficult to not get a visible link where the socks fold. I would look for socks that have an insert in them.

What temperature in for how long do you press these at?
Try 385 for 55 seconds.
I read somewhere that anything sublimated should not be put in the dryer. When you did the tests on the t-shirts did you dry them after washing?
I dry all of mine? Not sure why you wouldn't?
I need the pink socks

Upload the image. Remove the background. Then just copy and paste to duplicate.
I lovee this, thank you!
You're so welcome!
Thank you 😊
You're welcome 😊
great ideals love them
Glad you like them!
@@AngieHolden you are welcome honey
Where are the pink socks from?
They are from Silky Socks. Link in the description below the video.
i did my first sublimation on socks and it looks more green on it do you know why that would happen?
Usually a green black indicates that you need more time or temperature.
@@AngieHolden okay I did it at 60 seconds I'll try more time 😊
I am totally confused, the heading says for any printer but in the video you keep saying sublimation printer?
I'm with you!
It has to be a sublimation printer and ink.
I meant with any SIZED printer? Maybe I should change that up a bit. Sorry!
@@AngieHoldenwhat kind of printer
wow nice work
Thanks for the visit!
@@AngieHolden welcome
I have subscribe to your channel . but you don't angry
Where can we purchase the sneaker pattern.

@@AngieHolden Thank you soooo much for this video, I learnt so much. How do I size the sneaker design to fit the sock size?
Do I need to spray my water slide decal if I’m putting it on a candle?…sorry I know this video is about socks I’m just curious if I need to spray them
Yea you have to spray the water slide decal
Angie! Please help. I don't know if there is a way to private message you. I am having a sublimation printer issue and don't know how to fix it.
Join our Sublimation Made Simple Facebook group!
i like your video😄
how much is it Heat press temperature
Follow the directions where you purchase your socks.
You can use spray instead of tape
You can! I haven't had a ton of luck with the spray so I am taking a break from trying. I will go back eventually! HA!
Question, I haven’t used my “converted” sublimation printer for awhile. Is there a way I can clean the ink out and put fresh ink in?
You can drain and flush it.
anyone know where to find these amazing socks in Canada? shipping to me is $60
Well boo! Maybe try the Silky Socks website?
@@AngieHolden they're even worse!! $250 shipping hahaha! Because they only do FedEx
Well that was unhelpful! I also see that brand on Amazon (the US site anyway). Can you try the Canadian Amazon?
@@AngieHolden that was actually my first choice! haha
BUT now that you mention it I should see if the US amazon would ship, and how much it is.
Why does it say 'any printer" ?
I meant that to be any sized sublimation printer.
Sadly polyester socks burn my feet
Boo!
