Wow they came out great! I have gotten some socks from Five Below, 10 pairs for five dollars. I haven't sublimated on them yet, was looking for a good video to follow and I think I found it. You made it look so easy, will be trying this soon. Love the way the heel came out. Look like a pair of socks from the store. Excellent job! GOD Bless :)
@@dannimakesstuff Are dollar tree has never had socks and I know other people have used dollar tree socks so I looked at Walmart and found a great option
Sooooo cute. I use Cosmo ink and paper. The paper leaves my items too dark, even when i switched the profile. I switched paper and my colors pop amazingly. I'll definitely try the brand you used to save some money. The socks came out great.
Thank you😊 Thank you for watching. I like Cosmos Ink as well, it was just out of my budget sometimes lol. I never tried the paper, right now im using HTVRONT brand sub paper, and still working on finishing my WOKOK ink. So far no complaints.
Great job. I use DT ankle sock. I've been looking for others. Silky socks is one I've looked at. S&H is a little steep. I'm still looking. I want to try compression socks
I have been trying for days to figure out the best way to sub with a heel & this came out PERFECT!!!! THANK YOU & I saw where you didn't roll the sdes & it came out great, I will have to try that next. Thank you very much for this video it has been a tremendous help
I just found some socks at the dollar store that’s why I looked it up! Great video. That’s such a cute design. Now to make my own. Thanks again for a nice tutorial!
I love your video, and how you explained everything, you made it seem so easy. Thank you so much! Keep the videos coming your are good at it!! Can you reuse the sock jigs or do you have to use a new one each time you press?
Love how they came out. Love the colors. I wonder if I can use the ink in refillable cartridges for a epson 2710 . I want to try those socks out for my niece. Love it.
Thank you! 😊 I honestly just traced the sock. That way it came out a little bigger so the sock fit snug. I believe I show how I made it in this video. ruclips.net/video/kHU8u0Xqr2w/видео.htmlsi=wtUHQuPo7FVOkoYl
Thank you so much! Yes get them out and give them a try. You will love it, its so fun. No color loss at all. They still look just as bright as that first day and I wear them often.💜
I mean if I’m already using one brand of sublimation ink and I want to switch to a different one like you did, how can I do that? If you have an Ecotank the colors will mix, is that ok?
Oh ok thats what I thought you meant. I just refilled with the new ink. I didnt notice any issues with them mixing at all. I was using Cosmos, and I refilled with Wokok which is cheaper but the quality is the same. I have had no problems. 💜
❤ I wanted to try that ink hate it’s discontinued however i did find a sealed brand new box at my local goodwill store n its good expires end of year or next i believe but i dont think its worth it bc its discontinued😭
Hi. Thanks for watching. The ink has not faded at all! I actually love the dollartree socks, and I still only use the Wokok ink from amazon. I will have an updated sock video soon.😄
Hi. Thanks for watching😊 I think the most important part was making sure the socks fit tight on my homemade jig. I have another sock video coming up. I will make sure to break it down more. I also have 2 different types of socks for that one.
Hi. In my experience its a mixture of pressure and temp. Also one thing I highly recommend is making sure your printer is calibrated correctly, settings are in my setup video. I also use a color chart to help match colors. I hope that helps and thank you so much for watching.💜
Honestly I haven't had any issues. I think its pure luck. A lot of people say the same thing, that their images distorts when it stretches. I did an updated sock video, i tested 2 different socks as well. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it💜
It could be. But i didnt roll the sides at all on these or my last pair and the design was consistent. I have a new kind to test. Ill get that video up soon.
You did a wonderful job! I'm watching videos on sock sublimation so that I can try it soon. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome job! I just started sublimating and socks are a very cute stocking stuffer! Thank you for sharing!!!!!

Awesome…!!! Walmart sells polyester socks for the entire family… excellent quality quantity and price.

I did find some really nice packs of socks at Walmart and they were 100% polyester but feel amazing!
Ooh yay! I need to look for some. My dollartree has been out for a while.

I appreciate the kind words. Ill have some new sub videos soon. I have a kid graduating in 2 weeks so im behind on videos.
Congratulations to your graduating student, and to YOU for getting them through it.
I still need to get the courage to do my first video. I’ve learned so much from watching you all creating content. And I love it! Thank you.
Loved how the heel turned out. I am submitting my first pair of socks. A friend wanted some owls 🦉 on a pair
Thank you! Im sure yours will come out great as well. I appreciate you watching💜
Wow that color is vibrant! I will try that after i run through what i have in my printer
Yes I still use this ink. I absolutely love it! It's budget friendly and it lasts a long time as well.

I have a SG500 sawgrass and a 8.2 single head A4 DTF printer L805 Panda Gen -1 and I’m a crafter and sewing 🪡 and a bag maker too

Amazing how much of the ink was sublimated! I never get that great of a result. Your paper was white where socks was so great sublimation result
Thank you!
I just did my first pair, still having a little issue with the ankle area and how to fold it down. Your video helped alot. Thanks
Thank you so much for watching😊 Im glad I could help even a small bit. Ill have an updated sock video soon as well.
Sooooo cute !! I thought you did the sole like that on purpose, I would've never known.
Thank you. Honestly I had no idea...I was wingin it😅
I love your video, and how you explained everything, you made it seem so easy. Thank you so much! Keep the videos coming your are good at it!!
Can you reuse the sock jigs or do you have to use a new one each time you press?
Aww thank you. Actually the cardboard ones lasted me a while. I only remade them for the sake of showing how. I reused them often. 😊
🏃🏽♀️ 🏃🏽♀️ runnin to dollar tree 😅. Where did you get that design danni, it’s so cute!
Thank you. I just found one already made in Canva.
@@dannimakesstuff nice! Thanks danni
Love how they came out. Love the colors. I wonder if I can use the ink in refillable cartridges for a epson 2710 . I want to try those socks out for my niece. Love it.
Thank you💜 Im not sure, but if the 2710 is just a model before the 2720 then it should be possible🤔
They came out great! Do you need a certain kind of sock to sublimate? Does the ink come off when you wash?
Hi. Sorry so late to respond. Yes the socks need to be mostly polyester to sublimate.
Love your socks! I just purchased some dollar tree socks also! Can you tell me what was the size you cut for the socks on the cardboard.
Thank you! 😊 I honestly just traced the sock. That way it came out a little bigger so the sock fit snug. I believe I show how I made it in this video. ruclips.net/video/kHU8u0Xqr2w/видео.htmlsi=wtUHQuPo7FVOkoYl
Love to have the measurement for the jig for inside of the sock thanks great job
Hi. I honestly didn't measure. I traced the sock flat and cut it out of thin cardboard. I will make an updated video soon. Thank you for watching.😊
❤❤❤
Those are awesome. Had my printer for about two years so I guess it’s time to open the box. Could you tell me the name of the ink again
Thank you😊 Yes open that printer up!
I use Wokok ink from Amazon. Alot of people use Cosmos ink as well.
Great video! You made this look so easy. I bought socks a few months back. Time to pull them out.
Did you have any color loss when you washed?
Thank you so much! Yes get them out and give them a try. You will love it, its so fun. No color loss at all. They still look just as bright as that first day and I wear them often.💜
The colors are everything! How did you switch out your colors? Can they mix?
Thanks so much. 😊 I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean the colors on the design or the printer ink?
If its priced well, i'd buy it. The ink takes forever to run out so you'd get alot of projects out of one set.
Did your socks hold their stretch after washing them? Or elastic?
Yes they hold their stretch.
Is there a way you can make a pattern to print you cardboard inserts? Thank you
I want to try that ink but I have Hipoo right now, can I switch once the Hipoo runs out?
Yes you definitely can. Thanks so much for watching.
Hi. Nice video...cotton or poly socks?
Thank you😊💜Poly socks only for sublimation.
How is the ink Quality? Does it fade quickly?
Hi. Thanks for watching. The ink has not faded at all! I actually love the dollartree socks, and I still only use the Wokok ink from amazon. I will have an updated sock video soon.😄
How did you get the side seams to look so good? I've tried socks several times and I always end up with a small white line.
Hi. Thanks for watching😊 I think the most important part was making sure the socks fit tight on my homemade jig. I have another sock video coming up. I will make sure to break it down more. I also have 2 different types of socks for that one.
How do you get the colors so vibrant? I'm new. Is it the pressing pressure?
Hi. In my experience its a mixture of pressure and temp. Also one thing I highly recommend is making sure your printer is calibrated correctly, settings are in my setup video. I also use a color chart to help match colors. I hope that helps and thank you so much for watching.💜
What kind of sublimation ink do you use?
Hi. I use Wokok ink from amazon. amzn.to/3R5WX8B
Did you just print a full sheet?
I usually fill a page with designs or patterns, so yes. To have enough pattern to press both sides of both socks.
how do you keep the image perfect when the sock stretches? im trying
Honestly I haven't had any issues. I think its pure luck. A lot of people say the same thing, that their images distorts when it stretches. I did an updated sock video, i tested 2 different socks as well. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it💜
Where did you find the image?
Canva is where I either create or find the images in my videos.
SILKY SOCKS
Do u use new butcher paper on bottom each time
Thanks so much for watching. Yes I do. I use it on bottom, in between and on top. Probably overkill😅, but I don't want the ink on my press.
Had to reread it. Only new on bottom if it had blowout. Sometimes I reuse. Only the bottom one though.
I get a dark line where the sides meet. I only roll the sides a little bit. Am I using too much pressure?
It could be. But i didnt roll the sides at all on these or my last pair and the design was consistent. I have a new kind to test. Ill get that video up soon.
Where did she get the design from?
The design was created in Canva. Thanks for watching. 😊
I want to use my brand
