    After removing the lint, I always pre-press my fuzzy items like blankets, pillows & cozy socks. It makes it so much easier to work with & the design looks great. Another great tip.... Before you put the tape on your fuzzy items, stick the tape to your clothing then to the item. The tape will still hold the transfer in place and won't pull the fibers up when you remove the tape. P.S. Great job on the video. You are very easy to watch and listen to.

      Thank you! The colors are really based on my print settings. I switch them around sometimes. However, I mostly print on Premium Presentation Matte, Best Quality, Adobe RGB, 2.2 Gamma and I up the brightness to about 3. My printer can print up to 13x19. I print that straight from the whatever design software I'm using (mostly Adobe). I just go to page setup and switch paper sizes. If printing larger than that, I tile the page when printing.

    whats the cheapest printer i can buy for sublimation?

    • @CraftableThings
      @CraftableThings  3 года назад

      Try the Epson clearance website and search for eco tanks. Any ecotank works great. The cheapest I’ve seen is $160 in the clearance site. I have one that works great. You’ll also need sublimation ink. Do not use the ink that comes with it. Epson is releasing a printer specifically for sublimation next month...that one will be around $400.

    How does the sublimation ink do in the wash?

    • @CraftableThings
      @CraftableThings  3 года назад

      It's adheres to items permanently. In 100% polyester, I have never experienced any fading.

    So can you only sub laminate on polyesther

    • @CraftableThings
      @CraftableThings  3 года назад

      Yes...you can only sub directly on items that have a high polyester count. I prefer at least 65% polyester. There are other materials, like some linen and satin. There are “ways” around it, which usually include subbing onto another product and then pressing that into the shirt or material.
