    A Touch of Class Creations did this a few months ago too and had a similar issue with the bottom of the cup showing. I think he said instead of tucking the top edge so close to the lip, to bring it down a little. It lines up better with the bottom and still covered by the lid at the top.

      @@CraftableThings i buy all my permanent vinyl from crafthtv over in the UK. shipping is super fast. you get 12in x5 ft for $2 each. i have every color. i use their fairy tale brand. I am able to sub on their white and clear permanent vinyl and its not Oracal 651 brand and just yesterday i discovered how to sub on DT glass cutting boards using the clear shelf liner from DT as well. using $1 shelf liner saves from wasting vinyl.

    I'm having what looks like air bubbles after its been pressed. What am I doing wrong?

    • @CraftableThings
      @CraftableThings  3 года назад +1

      While it's still hot try to smooth it out with a squeegee. Try doing a very light/quick press of the laminate sheet to the vinyl and make sure it's pressing good and then do your press.

      Thank you, now I have another question lol. After I'm finished and it's cooled off when I go to peel the sticker off its wanting to start peeling the laminate off. Is that normal. It doesn't do it every time.

    Do you have the measurements for the template, do we have to resize I’m using Silhouette

      if you download the png, you shouldn't have to resize once you upload to silhouette. Please let me know if it doesn't work.

      What printer do you have? Sometimes that happens to me if the print settings (computer) do not match what I programmed in the printer. I usually bypass and click print with specified settings.

      You might need to. I can bypass it on my printer. Not sure if you can on yours.

    Does it matter if the 651 is matte or glossy. I try and my laminate did not adhere to the vinyl.

    • @CraftableThings
      @CraftableThings  3 года назад +1

      it can be subbed on directly. The laminate sheet makes color pop more, though.

      in design space?

    • @CraftableThings
      @CraftableThings  3 года назад +1

      Hi! Thanks for your support. There's no way to cut it in design space. The circumference is too large for Cricut's limited print capabilities. It's over 10 inches wide. Do you use another design software? That will be the only way to print it for a full wrap of the cup. You'll have to cut it manually. I hope this helps.
