Thanks man looking at maybe an NC1.. really like the Mojotone sound in this comparison. The others sounded kinda scooped to me. Is the Mojotone as loud as the Fishman? I read a review where the person said it was weak for an active pickup?
@@caseyholford yeah man excellent, I ordered the NC1 last night as I’ve liked every sound clip I could get my hands on. If it’s as loud as the Fishman that sounds perfect to me. Cheers👍
Mojo nc2. Not even close. Very accurate bass response, while the other two had almost none. If you listen in this order and log the 1st (nc2) in your mind's ear, then reference that when you listen to 2 and 3. Mojo-tone all the way. They really don't produce a bad product.
I wouldn't call it more accurate, but I do think the mojotone pickup has a warmer low-mid range. Personally I like all three pickups, but there are a lot of good qualities about the NC-2 for sure.
I don’t have experience with that pickup, but from what I can tell, it is intended specifically for classical nylon stringed guitars. It will sound different because it doesn’t have a microphone element.
@@caseyholford regarding that mic of prefix pro blend, does it make a significant difference ? also how about of having it off cause I already use a dedicated mic ?
@@marshallmhamad I'm sorry i missed this follow up question. I think the mic does make a significant difference to the sound. but if you already use a different dedicated mic, it would mean you don't really need a dual system pickup like this - you could get one that is only piezo or only magnetic.
Which of the three did you keep in your guitar? I seem to like the Mojo NC2. I absolutely need the best that also fights off feedback. I play directly in front of QSC K10.2 that’s always really loud!!!
@@ironman1290 currently still have both but I think I’m gonna sell the fishman. I like the way it sounds but it is a bit too bulky, heavy and tricky to install / uninstall compared to the mojo.

I do think it's a bit quieter than the other ones in the video. I didn't do any gain adjustment in the video though, if that helps!

What is the point of a comparison if you are going to blend in the mic?
The mics that are blended in are part of the pickups themselves, they’re dual system. A room mic wasn’t used

hi there, what is the difference between this fishman prefix pro blend and fishman classic III ? does this sound better ? Thanks

Why did you NOT start with clean acoustic with no pickup so we could hear a starting point first???? …Aaaaaa
Good point, if I do another video like this I’ll start with a condenser mic in the room.

I like 2 the best
much prefer the Prefix, maybe it's because I much prefer piezos over magnetics on acoustics
