Class. Real Class. Loved this whole film/concert if The Band's final show👌. Thanks for This Wonderful Upload. Regards Frank
I think Neil was the one guy from CSNY that Joni Mitchell wasn't with lol
Great to see it from this perspective! Only saw the movie version.
These Is history of music, good good good
I love this song it trys to take me back to simple days
It doesn't get any better than that
To be there to see this historic event. I'm in awe..
Assisti este show/filme há muitos anos, inesquecível!!
The last whalts!
Quite incredible this.
Love Neil young a lot !!!!!!!!!!
Just one thing: “This is jolly good indeed”
Wow, totally different dimension than the movie version. Robbie had to have added guitar layers in post-production because they're not present here. Also, Garth was so muted in the movie version vs. this.
This tune was far old as the Deja Vu album with Crosby-Stills & Nash (1970)
This was very much like music it had been in 19th Century
Das ist 100 Prozent Neil Young. Und alle Weggefährten mit dabei. Eine Vision von einer besseren Welt.
This is adorable 🤗
....este es un documento fílmico y sonoro para la posteridad !!!!!
Esa es la verdad, mi amigo!
Mr. Scorsese directed a great movie in 1978 ‘bout this concert, calling it “The Last Waltz”, featuring along with the Band all these artists
Jaw dropping wowness !!
Just waw...
O MG !!! Music is LIFE X G
Neil Young hatte eine verdammt gute Stimme
🤔......Damn..would love to be at this show..even if I was just fly on Garth's head🎶
My harmonica lesson,...
Tooo mean...
Magique
Can I get a CD or DVD of this performance? My brother in law is disabled and loves his music, he has requested this performance and i've been unable to find. Help/suggestions anyone?
Really hard to find, I've tried.
The Last Waltz. It's been issued on vinyl, cassette, cd, VHS, DVD.
YEP
This is truly armature level performance.
Not sure how old you are but you may want to look back at the times. Just wondering what you would consider "professional" music.
@@lauragrande8816 I had to rewatch it because I didn't remember it at all. Someone is making an off key falsetto sound which is so distracting that even Neil looked over as if to say "are you kidding?". I'm just surprised that this would occur with this level of musicianship. The year it was performed is completely irrelevant.
@@tyroneshoelace4872 You really have no idea what you are talking about. The recording of this version may be poor, but the falsetto you are referring to was Joni Mitchell singing behind the stage, and Neil didn’t know she was going to accompany him, and she doesn’t sing off key. You are almost as clueless as the guy who commented above “informing” us that this concert was filmed and released as a movie.
the way you spell amateur is unprofessional
@@charleshendrix232 The falsetto was Richard Manuel who was completely shot by this time. That's why they took his part out of the movie version.
This
Still can't see the famous white rock in his nostril...
maybe it's just apocryphal
Neil Young was so coked up, that Scorsese had to edit the white powder out of Neil Young's nose, for the film. That's a fact.
Eh?
