I don't take pleasure in saying this but if you care for the truth check the info out for yourselves. Young has and had a nasty and controlling personality. Bands use to fire him. @@pepperann5766 Neil young was way more talented then that loser Dylan. He did better music, was more diversified and gifted. Dylan was a loser made by Joan Baez. Nobel prize in literature?. Makes me wonder what this country has come too, to give it to that scumbag.
Gosh. If WE are lamenting the loss of good times, can you imagine how Bob Dylan and Neil Young feel today? Both still alive, both living in California (as does Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez). What's ironic is that money was far from the motivating factor back then (not like today.) And yet all four of them became immensely rich. Good for them. They gave us A LOT. Love this grew up in the sixties listening to my older brothers Bob Dylan LP's and then in the 70's bought Neil Young's Harvest, which I listened to over and over again. Awesome that they sing this, one of my favourite songs together.
I was at the show in the picture. It was one of the Best, and I've seen Dylan more than a dozen times. The Band, was stellar, of course, and Neil was at his Neiliest! It was a "best of", show, waaay before they did that, as the three acts traded hits and backed each other flawlessly. Marlon Brando warmed the crowd before their set. It was really amazing.
John Abramson And it was earthly 1975.... Between the mod 60s and the 80s what ever it was.... Speaking of Bob Dylan and Marlon Brando.... I heard at a Chabad Passover sedar in Santa Monica, the Rabbi said Now, Marlon Brando will read the next passage...Then the rabbi asked Bob Dylan to lead in singing.. The other guests were in for a treat.
This song and many others get me thinking about my dad. A very kind a gentle soul that had endured so much heart ache undeserved. And yet he continues to today at 85 to pour love and kindness out to the cold bitter world that lives within the four wall of his little house in Escondido, Ca. Kind hearts endure much.
Beautiful. Two Giants came together ... each with a song in tow and the "songs" became "one" ... and of course the Band could do anything, so it came together to equal = "Beautiful" ... Thanks.
Two giants? How about 5? The Travelling Wilburys: Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty from the Heartbreakers, Jeff Lynne from ELO, and George Harrison from the Beatles

I was a freshman in HS in 1972. I'm so grateful for the rock and roll I had growing up. My 4 older sisters were into the Beatles, then all of those really great bands. Still digging this during our 2020 summer.
In 1975 I was working in a dead-end job as a Mechanical Engineer. It was music like this from Dylan and Young that kept me alive
This still does this to me at this day.
Mechanical engineer dead end job?
what happened next?
Michael Resch, why are you catfishing with that profile pic, main man?? 🤔🤔
Shouldn't it look like 👴👴👴
Right on
Geezus!! This is Gold! My guys go deep and I’m so lucky to have lived to love them since 1965 in Berkeley until now in 2023 in Los Angeles - Go Neil! 9/20/23 at the Roxy with Crazy Horse!
Hello Suzanne
How are you doing?
It's nice to have you here!
Not to worry about this music being forgotten, I remind my neighbors every weekend . my stereo back yard parties are back on .Btw covid you're not invited. everyone else welcome...
I wish I hadn't been 4 years old at the time. Couldn't find anyone to give me a ride to the show, damn it.
hahaha .. love it
I can relate. I remember being upset that my parents wouldn't let me hitchhike to the Woodstock ( at 12 years old... :) ). I was so bummed. I just knew I was missing out on something huge!
Too bad I'm 60 and bound to miss some great concerts you will get to. It might not be Neil and Bob but something will stir your soul.
Iv never thought of it this way... thank you Jim!
I was about the same age and I wanted to go to but my Dad "Why the hell would you want to go to see a bunch of long haired hippies?" :) Oh well I got to listen to the Woodstock 3 lp records when they came out.
Neil and Bob are freakin ICON's of 60-70s Music and beyond... I saw Neil once guitar jam vs. Stephen Stills for 50 minutes... Stills Young Band... I believe the building has collapsed 'Hartford Civic Center'... it might be the greatest Guitar concert I have seen except for the Outlaws
Two of my favorite songs from the two greatest artist singing and playing them
Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Hi Leonard! My father was Leonard Dixon too, and he was a helluva guy! Joseph Leonard Dixon
Without this beautiful music and my Gramma Eva I wouldn't be here life is worth the journey

I was about 15. All my friends and I went to the Snack concert. We still mention it from time to time.
Dylan and Young best storytellers ever, and their music is Heavenly.🌿🎶
Lot of persons in morocco loves Neil young songs thanks neil
People are legends before dying for a reason, bless all like minded people because at the end it's about u
Helpless. One of the best songs ever. Knockin' on Heaven's door. Another one of the best ever. Brilliant combination!
Yes, time has caught up with some of us. But we still have great taste in fabulous music and artists. Thank you to these amazing artists who helped us grow up !
Two men that never followed the norm. Courageous and unwavering their whole life, kicking down the door for all of US who refuse to have life dictate anything to any of us.
I don't take pleasure in saying this but if you care for the truth check the info out for yourselves. Young has and had a nasty and controlling personality. Bands use to fire him. I loved his music throughout the decades, but knowing what he's like, coupled with his current music? No, 👎🏽 I feel kinda sorry for him now, he looks rough and down on his luck☮️
Far out man
@@pepperann5766 Neil young was way more talented then that loser Dylan. He did better music, was more diversified and gifted. Dylan was a loser made by Joan Baez. Nobel prize in literature?. Makes me wonder what this country has come too, to give it to that scumbag.

and they add new words to the norm versions--but I can't hear them clearly can you tell me what these new words are?
This has got to be my favorite of the obscure recordings I've come across on youtube. Hope someday someone posts the whole concert.
Punk was still a rumour . Bob , Neil Young and Santana really mattered in a way they havent since 1978 .
Thanks Bob, Neil, Joni and Joan. We love you still.
Hello Juliet

@@juliet3827 I know you must be surprised to get a reply from me right?
Well, i actually opened this account as my official chat account so i can have a little time for my fans and know how some of you feel about me.
@@Officialbobdylan0 Well, "Bob" - I think that after a career spanning six decades and millions of records sold, you already know how people feel about you. Thanks for writing!
@@juliet3827 that's cool 💝,
Where are you commenting from and how long have you been a fan?
🔊It's Neil and Bob can i say anymore!!! The greats songwriters/singers of our times🎶
Peace
Katharine Renner hello
You forget Sir Van Morrison!
Been listening to Bob Dyland and Niel Young for over 60 years. Amazing and I love it.
No worries, cause bar stools, like the blues, are there to support, what takes us through life. Place a stool, pic a chord, see a smile, Rock and Roll has come a live.
Pure legends. utmost respect.
Greatest music ever made , greatest artist to grace this planet !! 60's ,70's ,80's !!!
This channels creator loved Neil Young and classic rock in general. He passed away a year ago. RIP David.
I wish I could say goodbye somehow. We met online when I was 13 and he was gone when I was 36. He was a very tortured person but I could talk to him about anything. I miss him very much. If you check out his favorites videos you can see his love of videos. I just don’t want my friend David to be forgotten.
You can see his love of music I mean. Oops
first heard this 1976 ❤️takes me right back to my youth to my friends that are no longer here 💔 to the good times may they last my friends
Early 70s while i was studying Chemical Engineering this song was my favorite now iam a grandpa and still listening to this classic.
Absolutely brilliant! Two musical legends together!
neil young and bob dylan are simple the best there songs will last for ever i am lucky i can understand there lyrics i learn english when i was 20 and i hear them every day bravo to both of them
Neil Young. Hail too the 60's. Universal music, I don't know anyone that doesn't like music from the 60's !✌
Love this grew up in the sixties listening to my older brothers Bob Dylan LP's and then in the 70's bought Neil Young's Harvest, which I listened to over and over again. Awesome that they sing this, one of my favourite songs together.
All my boys together.....made our lives sooooo much richer! What a ride its been!

And it was earthly 1975....
Thanks for Sharing That John!! Wow! You are so Fortunate to have been at that Show!! Would have loved to have seen it Live!!! Best, Ray!!!

This is not pop, this is heaven. Spiritual.
Estou em FLORIPA numa sacada com a lua cheia curtindo este som! 65 anos agradecidos a estes mestres!
Beautiful. Two Giants came together
... each with a song in tow and the "songs" became "one" ... and of course the Band could do anything, so it came together to equal = "Beautiful" ... Thanks.
Two giants? How about 5? The Travelling Wilburys: Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty from the Heartbreakers, Jeff Lynne from ELO, and George Harrison from the Beatles
Beautiful
Beautiful
in my mind, I still need a place to go.all my changes were there...
+Gary Garren Don't forget The Band
With all the cookie cutter American Idol lets all sound alike talented "musicians" today...if you didn't experience the GIANTS of 60's and 70's...you missed it...what a RIDE!!!!
I think that the guys don't realize how their songs reached our hearts I listen all the time so awesome
Life is GOOD.. got my Dylan in my ear 👂
Thank you brother

I heard this the song Helpless on casette tape in "72 when a friend hiked up where we were staying Big Sur, a trail takes you up , it's kinda steep, and there's water and a place to camp out, I was only 19 and we all listened to Helpless and the rest of that Album from Neil Young, a friend brought a cassette player and tape, with and batteries I thought I'd died and gone to heaven lol, listening to that up in the quiet outside out in the open
I’m not very old but still love the oldies,my wish is that the our kids will find a way to continue the classics
They will, baby :D I'm still loving the classics from 1800's 20's 30's 40's They're not going anywhere! :D
1975, I got Drafted to go to Viet Nam. Talk about be "Helpless". I joined the USAF and luck be with me, I was sent to Northern Japan. Thank the Almighty, I am still around and not "knocking on heavens doors". Over 50K took the one way walk, I feel so lucky and so sad. My Mother, love of my Life, Dementia, 100% helpless, it was a horrible sight, to see someone you loved strapped to a wheelchair and not knowing you. Thank the Almighty, She is with my Father and in my World, the two of Them did not have to Knock On Heaven's Doors but for a short rap. I feel like crying.
Bless
I become a folk rock musician because of these 2 folk rock gods. I just love both of them, i played both songs all the time, all i need a couple of beers , my Orchestra Model Takamine Pro Series Acoustic guitar and my other lover A Taylor Grand Concert Cut Away Guitar will make my day.
These musicians not only shaped my love of music, their music helped shape my life.
Helpless made my heart ache . Thank lord I lived in these days .
Dylan, the great American poet.......Neil Young, the great Canadian poet. Both together such a fantastic meeting.
I think Leonard Cohen would have something to say about that.
@@elston3153 I could say that of I liked him, never heard of him until he passed away. May he r.I.p
@@TripReviews he was a great singer songwriter probably one of the best poets in the music scene along with Dylan and Neil Young. But Bob Dylan is probably the most important and influential artist along with the Beatles.
@@elston3153 funny that when o was a young kid I liked the Beetles, probably because the adults despised them. As time went on and their music changed I wasn’t a fan of them. Dylan no doubt a big nog influence, but Young’s music had something about it. The story behind his songs, that’s why I say since Dylan has been named the great American poet then Young should could be named the great Canadian…. But that’s all a matter of personal, taste and opinions. Cheers🍻
I would have loved seeing this concert. Saw Dylan years ago. Saw Neil Young years ago...But never saw them together!
Well I was only 5 years old in 1975 but that's what's so Awesum about Utube Eh Folks I can listen to these amazing concerts and close my eyes and just imagine how amazing this show must have been.... Love Dylan and Young
Nobody comes close to these two legends. Absolutely stunning
When love comes from music the heart respond with the pureness that is from the souls of the singers thank you for the life I live with your music to fulfill it! Bob and Neil will always be with us !!
So grateful I lived in this era of the best music ever to be written!
nothing beats pure, genuine and original rockers
@ dante Salvador
Couldn't agree with you more.
Truth.
Long live the young .. the good die young . We.just lost my mother in law rip mammi.
Their writings have brought peace to people of the world that no military force could ever hope to achieve.
I grew up with this in the 80s and 90s because my dad was an (ex) hippie. All the classics from the 60s and early 70s were on the playlist.
These songs bring back great memories of being a child in the early 70s. Our house always had these albums on the turntable, along with so many great artists from that era. 🎶 🎵 🪕 🎼 🎸 🎸 🎸
