This video was exactly what I needed to complete the water inlet valve repair on my Whirlpool Gold bottom freezer refrigerator. While the set up was a bit different, all the parts were the same, and were removed the same way. Thank you for this! Just saved myself $150!
Thanks for this video. Your videos are the best, very easy to follow. The inlet valve bracket in my Kenmore 106.59562990 was riveted together with the bracket for the main water valve coming into the refrigerator. I saw on Amazon where folks had drilled that joining out with a 3/16" or little larger drill bit (to separate the brackets). It sounds harder than it was. I just wanted to add that here, for anyone in the same situation. Once the brackets are separated, I just followed the above video and was able to screw both brackets back on the refrigerator with no problem. I didn't have water coming into my ice maker (but it did flow through the water dispenser). I went ahead and replaced both the ice maker and the valve and it works great now. Thanks!
Hi there. Is your ice maker making ice but just not dispensing it, or not making ice at all? Have you checked the fill tubes? Check out your ice maker mold. If there are no cubes, or only very small cubes, there could be an issue with the water fill tubes. Is there a build up of ice, or any foreign objects that would disrupt the flow of water? And, yes - definitely properly re-install the outlet tubing. Hope that helps!
Hi there, Sorry to hear about this problem, and thanks for your question. You're very welcome, for the videos! You're right that it may be the water inlet valve. You can check this by disconnecting the dispenser's water line from the water inlet valve, then pressing the dispenser actuator to see if water continues to drip from the valve. The part number you'll require, if the inlet valve is at fault, is W10408179. This can be found on our website. Hope that helps!
Great videos. Ice maker/dispenser is working fine, I replaced the water filter and it filled right away. When I press the for water I can hear little click and the low humming noise it normally makes when it dispenses water but no water comes out.
Hi Virginia, Thanks for your question. Just to clarify - are you asking if it's possible to create a water dispenser and ice maker in a refrigerator that currently has neither? Or am I misunderstanding? Thanks again! Cheers.
+Daniel Ortega - I'd have a look at the defrost timer kit (test that with a multi-meter) and also the thermostat assembly. Test those parts and see if they are faulty!
My fridge also has the extra 2 connections. Not too hard to figure out which go to the ice maker and water dispenser, and which are connected to the water filter. There are 2 different size plastic tubes. Thanks for the video.
Hi: I hope you are still reading comments. When we pull out our filter to change it water gushes out and doesn't stop until we turn off the water to the house. Do you think changing this valve would fix it? The filter housing itself is in the bottom right hand corner of the refrigerator.
Yes, if ice exists in the tube, it will cause problems. Is your water dispenser still working properly? If you don't find ice build-up problems, and you don't suspect problems with the water supply, it may be the ice maker control that's at fault.
Learned a lot here-but here is something you have to be aware of with water leaks. NICKED hoses from the fan. Was driving me crazy for 2 long days-then I realized after running my hand over a wet feed hose that it must have nicked the fan. I throw that out there since cracks and splits and nicks are hard to find. The only clue I had was a tinkling sound against the spinning fan-which was from the water spraying on it . Yet EVERYTHING was wet in that right corner you were working on.
Hello. I have a whirlpool that has a water dispenser. Lately the coil in back of the refrigerator has been violently shaking when we try to use it and there is no water coming out. Is it the Inlet Valve that needs replacing or something else? Thank you for your help and great videos!
Hi Robert, Thanks for your question. Can you please provide your model number so I'm better able to help you troubleshoot? Is the ice maker working properly?
@partselect Can you share the troubleshooting video with me as well. I have a Kitchenaid KSRG22FKSS03 and my water dispenser is now constantly dripping. I want to know for sure before I order the water inlet valve. Thanks
Can you tell me please where the water fill valve is on a KSSC36FKS00 (side by side Kitchenaid). Your video shows the water fill valve in the back of a Whirlpool fridge but I'm hopeing the Kitchenaid is located in the ice maker assembly in the freezer side of the fridge?
Hi, I have a Whirlpool side-by-side, ed5fhextl00. The water dispenser sometimes drips after dispensing. Sometimes right after dispensing water, it looks like a bubble forms, which turns into a slow drip, but other times it starts dripping after we walk away. When this happens we usually try dispensing a little more water until it looks like it is not going to drip. The filter isn't new, maybe a few months old. Should we check/replace the inlet valve or something else? thanks for these videos!
Thanks guys for such a great instruction video. I replaced my water inlet valve by watching your video. I replaced mine due to the problem of having a huge frozen waterfall inside my freezer almost daily. Once I replaced the valve I turned everything back on and the ice-maker started producing ice and is working fine. I have a great flow of water in the door as before too. But... my issue is I still have water accumulating in the bottom of my freezer. I am not sure where the water is coming from but it appears the ice-maker may still be overflowing as before. I have turned off my ice-maker just to see if the water accumulation stops showing up. I removed all the ice by breaking it up and removing it from the bottom of the freezer so I will know if new water accumulates and freezes again. What would you suggest I do next? Thank you.
Turning off the inlet water supply to the refrigerator will help determine if the ice build up is defrost water related or from the ice maker. If the freezing water still occurs, then suspect a plugged defrost drain tube. If the freezing stops, then look at the fill time for the icemaker. It should not be longer than 9 seconds. If the fill time is longer, suspect the ice maker control. Is there any ice buildup in the supply tube to the ice maker?
+PartSelect That is exactly what it was. It was a plugged up defrost drain. It appeared I had two issues at once. I got the drain unclogged with hot water and a few towels now everything appears to be working fine. Thanks again for all your help.
I have a Whirlpool side by side with a "no water fill to icemaker" issue. Water filter replaced, water dispenses at door at good rate, power good 120V at L-N, jumpered T-H and module cycles full cycle...but solenoid for water fill never clicks, and no water. No water in icemaker for a good week. Ice maker or water valve? Appreciate your vids much. Thank you.
I am attempting to replace an inlet valve on a older model whirlpool. The problem is, the new valve has push locks, when my old my had twist “nut” fittings. Would you advise cutting the old fittings and follow your video instructions?
I have a leak on Whirlpool side by side from teh door mounted water dispenser. It is only a drop now and then but when we are away (it is a rental unit used all winter by seasonal tenants and only monthly out of season). I assume it is the value on back of refrigerator but it even drips when condo water supply is turned off. Do those valves run on vacuum and possibly letting air into the line which forces water out? I don't want to waste money on the valve if the filter housing is bad
I have a Whirlpool ED22LF. The ice maker just makes "pieces" or chunks of ice at best. The part that ejects the ice gets stuck and the ice maker makes a sound like its trying to eject the ice but cant. I'm not sure if it can't get enough water or not. I used to hear the water turn on to fill the maker but I don't even hear that anymore.
Hi there, Thanks for providing the model number. This is a very common problem with your model. I would suggest checking into replacing the ice maker control and motor assembly. That part can be found on our website using part number PS2341896, and is compatible with your model. On that part's page, you'll find 193 reviews and tips from people who'd been experiencing the same (or similar) problem - sometimes helpful to take a read through. Let me know if that helps at all! Good luck.
Hi, can you send me the link to the troubleshoorting video as well? My ice maker is leaking , but I want to make sure it's the valve that needs replacing
I have a whirlpool model # ed5fhexns00 that is constantly leaking from the water dispenser and water occasionally flowing to the ice bucket were it freezes or drips to the dispenser. Would replacing the water inlet valve fix my issue?
Great videos. I've got an icemaker that isn't making ice, and noticed water coming from the point where the fill tube enters the freezer at the top of the fridge (outside). It drips a little when running. Any thoughts?
do you have any video that shows where all the tubes goes to? i replaced a water inlet valve part#2206123 and the ice maker unit part# w10190965 in my kenmore refrigerator. i did one line at a time to make sure i didn't get any mixed up and now water shoots from the water dispenser every few minutes and it still isnt making ice. what do you advise or what video can you direct me to so i make sure the lines are hooked up correctly. ty
I replaced the water inlet valve on my Kenmore Elite (Model 52693100) because it wouldn't stop dispensing water to the ice maker. Well, after the replacement, it worked fine for a couple days before flooding my freezer again today. Is my ice maker bad? What do you recommend?
I have a Whirlpool refrigerator that has a water filter. It was given to us in disrepair so I am not able to see how it was originally assembled. (Model #ET1FHTXMT01) A water hose/tube was ordered, but it doesn't seem to fit into the filter housing. Are you able to direct me to a video that shows how to install into that? Any other advice?
What is the part number of that "extra" piece? Mine has it and it is part of the inlet value, cannot be separated. Please help me locate the correct part.
I replaced the filter and the water inlet valve and the ice maker still does not make ice. The water flows normally. Is it possible that I installed the output tubes backwards or doe s it not matter?
It turns out that you can not install the plastic output tubes incorrectly. They have different diameters. So my installation was correct. While I had the plastic tubes out of the valve, I tried blowing into each one. I was able to blow air through the thin one but not through the thick one. I also tried pumping hot water into the thick tube but that didn't work too well. My problem is probably ice in the tube. What do you think?
Hi Sir, I have a Kenmore Coldspot model number 57572791 that isn't pushing water into the ice tray so that the freezer can make ice. The ice machine still works and the water dispenser is still giving water. The refrigerator is more or at least a decade old. I've checked the hoses for ice and leaks but everything is good. It's just not pushing water into the ice tray to make ice. What is wrong? Thanks.
hello i have a hotpoint double door fridge model# hss25ifmb ww the water hose that runs into the bottom of the freezer door and into the water dispenser is disconnected from the hose in the inside of the freezer door...so if i push the water dispenser water comes out of the bottom of the freezer door...how do i connect it back...there is no connection in there.. .thank you
The ice maker is not making any ice at all. Does it matter which fill tube goes into each of the two valve outlets? I tried heating the ice maker's water tube. That didn't work so I replaced the water inlet valve as per your video. I was considering injecting hot water into the ice maker's tube but my wife didn't let me.
Hello My Whirlpool started Dripping water after i replaced the filter. It made a big gushing water sound when i first used the water dispenser for the newly replaced filter. I am guessing it is the Inlet Valve..what do u think ? sv
I just did this repair on my kenmore. When I reopen the water supply the water dispenser in the door pours water without pushing the lever. I thought maybe I had reversed the connectors when I put them back on, and the valve was staying open, but that didn't seem to make a difference. What have I done wrong?
our ice maker is making ice and ejecting it but it is very slow-like overnight it may make only 3 sets of ice--rather than the usual which typically overnight or even 24 hours would fill the bin! what do we need to check?
I disconnected the line at the bottom, front of the fridge...where there is a quick disconnect. When I press the water dispenser water IS flowing from the feed line to that point so I know the valve is working. It is not flowing from the quick disconnect up to the dispenser head. I took my air compressor on low pressure and tried to blow the line out but still not working. I had turned the temp on the freezer down to 6 out of 9 two days ago thinking the line was frozen. Suggestions?
can you please tell me what to do because the water flow from the dispenser isnt flowing. We have to wait at least 1min or so before the water starts coming. We changed the filter and it didnt do anything. Please respond back. Thanks.
If the water inlet valve is damaged, will it stop BOTH water & ice maker,.. Or can it just stop "one" water flow? I'm getting water from the dispenser on the door, But my ice maker isn't producing any ice... Is there a way to check this?
Hi. I have a 2010 Whirlpool Conquest side by side. Model # ED5LVAXWQOO. The ice maker was not working so I replaced it by watching your video. Super simple thanks to your video. I also replaced the water filter. However, now I have icicles hanging all over my freezer compartment. Is the ice maker dispensing too much water? Is the water pressure to high? Can I turn the water valve down a bit? How do I fix this? Please help...
I need help . So yesterday I got water from the outside of the fridge and it just stooped giving water . I have no idea what happen . Please tell me what to do
Thank you SO much for this great video. Here's where I am, and maybe you can assist....I hadn't replaced my filter in a LONG time, and wasn't getting water or ice generated. I replaced the filter, and now have water flow thru dispenser, but not getting water to the ice maker. I am a relatively handy chick, this looks simple enough - but before I buy the part (W10408179) /install, is there ANYTHING I can check on line (or how) on the ice maker line? There is no ice, so all good there.
I have a G.E. Thermador side by side refrigerator and it makes a running water sound every 15 or 20 minutes which I know is not normal. What could be the problem?
Hi - My water dispenser was really leaking so I just replaced the valve and water filter. I noticed that the dispenser still forms a water bubble and eventually drips. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank You
Hello, Was hoping to get some help. I have a Whirlpool ed25uexhw00. It was running fine then all the sudden it stopped running. It has power, you open the doors and the light comes on but its not cooling. I found that if I turn the temperature dial off then on the lights turn off briefly and turn back on then the compressor starts running again and it starts cooling for a while until it randomly stops again and doesn't come back on until i turn the temperature dial off then on. Any ideas?
I just replaced the inlet valve on my Kenmore model # 795.75549401. The old inlet valve was leaking and I ordered the part and replaced, per the video. I am now not getting any water from the dispenser. I hear the typical buzzing when the switch is depressed, but no water. The water dispenser and ice maker have been out of use for about 2 months…just haven't had time to make the repair until today. Any suggestions? Possibly a bad inlet valve? thanks!!
I have a Kenmore Elite model 795.7404 and the valve you show in this video is basically the same thing, just in a different place on the fridge. It's at the bottom of the left door. Anyway, my water dispenser quit, and it takes a very long time to make ice. I'm talking maybe two or three days to fill the ice bucket. The guy on JustAnswer told me to get a new dual valve, which I did. I installed it and it didn't help. I wasted $28 on JustAnswer. Is there something else I might try in order to get the water/ice maker working? It's summer now and getting hot. We need our ice! Thanks in advance.
Are your ice cubes the same size as you had been getting previously? If the ice cubes are normal size and the freezer temperature is normal, then look for a fault with the ice maker control. The water dispenser uses one half of the dual valve and the ice maker the other half. You may have a frozen water reservoir in the fresh food section that might cause the dispenser not to work, but that should not affect the ice maker. Are there more digits in your model number? The number you quoted does not come up in our database.
Well, I removed the filter and put in one of the bypass plugs and now it works perfectly. If I put in a new filter, it goes back to the way it was. So I can only assume there is something wrong with the filter section. I'll just put an inline filter on the line in and be done with it. Obviously the design is poor.
Sir, I need some advice. I have a Whirlpool: Whirlpool Model ED25DQ I replaced Icemaker and solenoid water inlet control valve, and it worked for a very short time, then started overfilling drastically again. What could be the problem?
If the icemaker mold is overfilling, the problem will be either the icemaker control supplying power to the water inlet valve for too long (more than 10 seconds); a defective water inlet valve that does not shut off quickly when power is removed or a low household water pressure supplying the valve. The low water pressure can be caused by a restriction in the shut off valve used or a kink in the supply tube. When the pressure is too low, the water inlet valve will not close or shut off quickly enough and overfilling can occur.
My ice maker filled with water, froze, but it wouldn't harvest the cubes. I took the ice maker out, no corrosion in the cube tray. Put ice maker back in, LED tested ok, but ice maker would not fill with water. No signs of leaks behind refrigerator. Help!
I have same and I noticed water leaking... From front I opened and see water try full of water. Also water pipe coming from freezer door is broken and don't know where to plug it
About 6 months ago I changed my filter and the dispenser stopped so I changed my filter and still didnt work. Used old filter still nothing, Shortly after, it was determined that the inlet valve was bad. Replacing this part fixed my issue. I actually bought the part from you. Here we are six months later and I replace my filter, magically my dispenser stops again. WTF?!?!?! any ideas.
When I said "quick disconnect" I am referring the the "union connector" Water is flowing to this point and through the connector when the dispenser are is pressed. Its just not getting beyond this point.
One thing that should be pointed out in this video is that the lines need to be reattached to the same solenoid valves as before. Otherwise you will send water to icemaker when you try to get a drink of water and water will pour from the water dispenser when the icemaker kicks on!
The length of time to produce a tray of ice cubes is directly related to the temperature of the freezer compartment. Normally, you should see a harvest in less than 2 hours. Remember that each time you open the door the temperature will rise and that cycle time will increase.
My two doors Whirlpool refrigerator, the ice maker broken. The water dispenser is OK. There was no sensor light on. I replace the sensor control board. The sensor light works fine. But no water come out to the ice maker. I replace the water inlet valve yesterday. Still there is no water come out from inlet valve, but the dispenser is OK. There is water out from the inlet valve for the water dispenser, but no water for the ice maker. I check the water line tube in the back. There is no water out from the inlet valve ( to ice maker). What is the exactly issue or the problem that cause the water no coming out from the inlet valve to the ice maker?
Hi Cherry, Depending on your model number you could have an issue with the ice maker control, the wiring to the water valve or you may have a frozen water line into the ice maker fill cup. Are there cubes in the ice maker mold? You can initiate an ice maker harvest cycle using an insulated piece of 14 gauge wire to make a jumper between test points “T” and “H” on the ice maker control. This will start a test cycle and after about 15 seconds you can remove the jumper wire. The ice maker motor should continue to rotate and at the end of the cycle the water valve will come on for approximately 7 seconds. If the cycle goes to completion you should have at least heard the water valve solenoid humming. If it gets power and hums but no water, look for a frozen inlet tube in the freezer. No power and I would suspect the ice maker control.
Hi PartSelect. My refrigerator MODEL : GS6SHAXKQ01. As I describe the issue in my comments, I replaced a new sensor control board. The sensor light is ON now, but no water to the ice maker. Then I replace the inlet water valve last week. It still has no water to the ice maker. I checked the water tube from the inlet water valve to the ice maker(back of the refrigerator). There is no water out from the inlet valve, but it has water to the dispenser. Dispenser works OK. I have turned off and unplug the refrigerator for overnight to meld down the ice in the freezer and clean my refrigerator two months ago. I think it should not be the ice in the tube issue. I will do the jump test points "T" and "H" as your advice this weekend. Should the refrigerator and freezer remain power "ON"? Thanks.
I did the jumper test on "T" and "H" right now. I did twice 15 second. There is no response at all. Is the ice maker bad and need to replace the ice maker? or other issue? Do I need to replace the whole ice maker "Whirlpool 2198597 Ice maker" or just the partially "Whirlpool Refrigerator Ice Maker Motor Module Control 628358"?
Our ice maker quit working. We installed a new one and it still didn't work. I called just answer I think it was , and talked to a technician and he said we needed a new valve. We ordered a new valve and installed it. The ice maker still isn't working. I'm really upset. We have a Whirlpool and it is a 2006 model.
You should check for power to the ice maker harness first. Make sure that the harness on the replacement ice maker is the same as the original. Check this troubleshooting video for more tips. ruclips.net/video/I6Sgbo-CB3s/видео.html
I wasted 28 bucks on JustAnswer also. My Kenmore Elite model 795.7404 quit dispensing water and it takes a very long time, like days, to fill the ice maker. He told me I needed a new dual valve. I got one, put it in, and the same thing! I asked for my money back but haven't heard from them.
I have a very strange problem. I replaced my water filter, after a month it stopped working. I removed the water filter and my water flow is perfect. I put in a new filter, and same thing happened. Then once more. After I remove the filter the water flow is perfect, so what is causing the water filter to stop working or get clogged?
Check the water valve to see if you are getting any sediment on the inlet screen. If so, you may have a problem with your water supply. If the screen is normal, I can only suspect that the filter is defective.
Dear steve, I changed the water inlet valve because we have no water to the Icemaker. After replacing the inlet valve we still have no water going to the icemaker, however, we have water to the drinking water side. We use to here the solenoid buzz when letting water in the ice maker while water was running into the tray, now we do no here that. What runs the solenoid? We need help! Your friend in Christ, Rev. Carl Covey
Great video. I'm having slow water flow from the water dispenser on a KitchenAid Superba. I removed the kickplate and noticed there was some grimey buildup in the smaller line that feeds up to the dispenser. Any tips on how to replace that line? IT looks like I have to remove the cover plates to the ice/water dispenser. Do you think that line is my problem? Would replacing the inlet valve increase water flow? Thanks for any advice! Hi Tom, happy to hear we were able to save you some cash. Thanks for the kind words!
This was a very helpful video!! Thank you for making this. This guy did a great job explaining "how to" simply.
Thanks for the compliment!

Great video. Simple and straight to the point.
Thanks for the tip but I still want to know whether reversing the output tubes from the water inlet valve makes a difference.
Great videos. Ice maker/dispenser is working fine, I replaced the water filter and it filled right away. When I press the for water I can hear little click and the low humming noise it normally makes when it dispenses water but no water comes out.
Yes, it does make a difference and they should be properly installed. Otherwise it will not create a proper seal.

Thanks WE have a GE and the water dispenser sticks do I need to replace this part to make things smooth again It's about 5 years old Thanks Again

Hi again, I apologize - I should have asked for this last time, but can you provide your model number? Thanks a lot!
Hi, My water dispenser on my whirpool side by side fridge is not working. Do you think is the water inlet valve also? The icemaker works fine..thanks
Hi there,
Thanks for providing the model number.
Good luck.
Hi,
can you send me the link to the troubleshoorting video as well? My ice maker is leaking , but I want to make sure it's the valve that needs replacing
I have a whirlpool model # ed5fhexns00 that is constantly leaking from the water dispenser and water occasionally flowing to the ice bucket were it freezes or drips to the dispenser. Would replacing the water inlet valve fix my issue?
The cardboard is important, don't damage it! *Folds cardboard in half and damages it.* >_< 1:12
Great videos. I've got an icemaker that isn't making ice, and noticed water coming from the point where the fill tube enters the freezer at the top of the fridge (outside). It drips a little when running. Any thoughts?
do you have any video that shows where all the tubes goes to? i replaced a water inlet valve part#2206123 and the ice maker unit part# w10190965 in my kenmore refrigerator. i did one line at a time to make sure i didn't get any mixed up and now water shoots from the water dispenser every few minutes and it still isnt making ice. what do you advise or what video can you direct me to so i make sure the lines are hooked up correctly. ty
hi. Have a leak/drip from the water dispenser on a Kitchen Aid side by side refrigerator. Could it be anything but the inlet valve?
Hi,if a replace this valve do this fix a dripping water from the dispenser also ? Thanks
Do you know where I can get replacement compression fittings for the valve?
I have a Kitchenaid refrigerator ksrs25csms02... Just wondering if there's anything special about that model or if I can follow this diy. Thanks.
I replaced the filter and the water inlet valve and the ice maker still does not make ice. The water flows normally. Is it possible that I installed the output tubes backwards or doe s it not matter?
Thanks for the quick reply, I will try that!
Hello, my Whirlpool Conquest is dispensing water but is not filling the ice maker so I have no ice. Any idea what is wrong?
Thanks.
Great video! Very helpful!
Thanks! :)
hello i have a hotpoint double door fridge model# hss25ifmb ww the water hose that runs into the bottom of the freezer door and into the water dispenser is disconnected from the hose in the inside of the freezer door...so if i push the water dispenser water comes out of the bottom of the freezer door...how do i connect it back...there is no connection in there..
.thank you
The ice maker is not making any ice at all. Does it matter which fill tube goes into each of the two valve outlets? I tried heating the ice maker's water tube. That didn't work so I replaced the water inlet valve as per your video. I was considering injecting hot water into the ice maker's tube but my wife didn't let me.
thank you. very helpful!
When do you need to replace this part? How do you know you need to do it? In other words, what goes wrong with the refrigerator? Thanks
our ice maker is making ice and ejecting it but it is very slow-like overnight it may make only 3 sets of ice--rather than the usual which typically overnight or even 24 hours would fill the bin! what do we need to check?
Thank you for your question. I will have a response soon. Thank you.
PartSelect have you not found an answer for me? 🙁
I need help . So yesterday I got water from the outside of the fridge and it just stooped giving water . I have no idea what happen . Please tell me what to do
all I can find is Kenmore "ultra fresh". the original part was 2205762. thanks.
Thermador side by side refrigerator
and it makes a running water sound every 15 or 20 minutes which I know is not normal. What could be the problem?
Hi - My water dispenser was really leaking so I just replaced the valve and water filter. I noticed that the dispenser still forms a water bubble and eventually drips. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank You
Hello,
Was hoping to get some help.
Possibly a bad inlet valve?
thanks!!
Pete Payne I will ask Steve what he suggests and get back to you.
The number you quoted does not come up in our
database.
I have a Whirlpool:
Whirlpool Model ED25DQ
I replaced Icemaker and solenoid water inlet control valve, and it worked for a very short time, then started overfilling drastically again.
When the pressure is too low, the water inlet valve will not close or shut off quickly enough and overfilling can occur.
how much how much do they charge for this repair on average?
My ice maker filled with water, froze, but it wouldn't harvest the cubes. I took the ice maker out, no corrosion in the cube tray. Put ice maker back in, LED tested ok, but ice maker would not fill with water. No signs of leaks behind refrigerator. Help!
What happens if you can't push the line back into the valve?
I have same and I noticed water leaking... From front I opened and see water try full of water. Also water pipe coming from freezer door is broken and don't know where to plug it
I do not have a water line, but I want a ice and water fridge, what canI do?
About 6 months ago I changed my filter and the dispenser stopped so I changed my filter and still didnt work. Used old filter still nothing, Shortly after, it was determined that the inlet valve was bad. Replacing this part fixed my issue. I actually bought the part from you. Here we are six months later and I replace my filter, magically my dispenser stops again. WTF?!?!?! any ideas.
I have a KitchenAid refrigerator model KSRP25FNBL00.
They only fit on one way. The tubes are different sizes! So what you describe could never happen.
Thank you so much!!!
the water in ours comes out really slow what could be the problem
how long it takes to make ice after replacing the water inlet value on a kenmore refrigerator 106.51564104
The length of time to produce a tray of ice cubes is directly related to the temperature of the freezer compartment. Normally, you
should see a harvest in less than 2 hours. Remember that each time you open the door the temperature will rise and that cycle time will increase.
my ice maker is not working,in my refrigerator.thank you
Ok where is the video on shutting off the water line to your fridge if you have to temporarily remove your fridge
Hi Cherry, could you please provide your Whirlpool refrigerator model number and I will be happy to look in to this for you.
Thanks for your response. My refrigerator MODEL : GS6SHAXKQ01
Series : SL1537773. Whirlpool side by side.
If I am getting sediment on the inlet screen, what type of problem would I have with the water supply?
Dear steve, I changed the water inlet valve because we have no water to the Icemaker. After replacing the inlet valve we still have no water going to the icemaker, however, we have water to the drinking water side. We use to here the solenoid buzz when letting water in the ice maker while water was running into the tray, now we do no here that. What runs the solenoid? We need help! Your friend in Christ, Rev. Carl Covey
Carl Covey What is the model number on your fridge?
Before I buy another $100 part, I will try to reverse the two outlet tubes attached to my new valve.
KSRA25ILWH00
the music sucks but great informative video
Shit off valve to water
This is a Whirlpool side by side....
Yes, please do!
