Thank you for this video! Customer support and service techs could not direct me to the location of the water valve. They all kept telling me I didn't know what I was talking about when I said the valve was not located in the rear. So they transferred me back to the main menu instead of trying to understand.
Great video! I followed it to a T and everything was very easy! Unfortunately, it did not fix my problem. My water dispenser is still not working properly. It starts out fine and then goes down to a dribble. after letting it dribble for a while, I can pull the water filter and it has pressure built up in the line. I am thinking the line might have a clog somewhere. Do you have a video on that? I have been looking but cannot find it. Thanks for your help on the Mulit-Valve, even though that was not my problem. It should last for several more years!
Just fixed the same issue. The problem was the saddle valve connected to the water line was plugged. Replaced the valve and the water flowed fine. You can check the current water flow by disconnecting the water line from the back of the refrigerator, put the water line into a large bucket and turn the water on. If the flow is weak, the saddle valve is probably the problem.
Is there a way to test this part to see if it is good? I seen other videos that if you measure the resistance with a multimeter it will tell you good or bad. I just removed my part, literally the exact same part you’re showing there and it does not seem to be bad based on the resistance
This is great. Didn't notice you saying if the electrical connections have a polarity that must be followed? It seems not since one video reversed the connections from the original. Is that right?
My Matag Refrigerator uses the Dual Valve 67006531 WP67006531 . I have an ice cycle toward the front of the tray and a clump of ice ever day. Ice cubes are normal size as usual. Nothing has changed, level fridge. Same temperature settings. Water in fridge up top is fine. No drip Started all of a sudden on my 3 year old fridge. I see no adjustments behind cover on ice maker like old ones. I got a new water valve. No problem installing it with your video. However, it's still doing it. Did I just get unlucky and get a bad replacement. Thanks for the help.
I have a Kenmore side by side refrigerator freezer with a ice maker in it my problem is is there water is pouring out of the ice maker inside the freezer would that be the inlet valve that is the problem cuz I'm tired of mopping up my floors if you could help me please
You must have gone in and loosen everything before filming because we are trying to do this exact repair and we cannot for the life of us get the top valve off this thing. We are about to break something. Nothing works, wrench, screw driver, scissors, multiple wrenches...nothing works to get it off!
I bumped into the same issue. it would not come off. after 30 minutes i used the plier and it came off but i "deformed" the pipe. It leaked when i put it back in. I ended up changing the whole tubing unit. while doing that installation for the new tubing unit i had to unclip the water dispenser mount. By taking that off the angle is much better to install/remove that top hose. Bottom line if you're struggling with that hose, unclip the water filter unit it might be easier.
Thank u. Wish we had found this video before we pulled the fridge out looking for it in the back. Directions are spot on.
Excellent video. Exact style and location of my water valve. Thanks!!! Saved some money!!
You're welcome!

Mine was inside the refrigerator on the right hand side on the back panel (inside the refrigerator) just below the water filter.
I had the same issue. Thank you for this!

You guys are awesome. Thanks!

Did you ever figure this out?

Do a video on replacing the solenoid

Great video, I guess it's not worth trying to build one of these inlet valves! On mine, only the upper one (for the ice maker) has failed.

I have installed a new filter but the flow is very low. If I install the bypass plug the flow is OK. Would this resolve low water flow problem?
The tubes were super hard to come out. I mess up the top gray tube and now it leaks badly after I installed the new valve...now what? Thanks
You'll have to change the filter housing assembly with the water tank
Same problem we are having...tried anything afraid to break it. @#$%
You need to push in on the collars while pulling the tube in the other direction. The collars are designed to grab against pressure...
Do you guys have a water inlet valve video and sell the part for the Thermador T36IB800SP/10?
Simon I’ve been listening to you for years now. What is your accent?? I have to know!!

it took some doing (about 20 minutes) but I finally wiggled the top one off using a pair of pliers with light pressure.
