I got one of these and it cuts great with ease even tho I always had 2 strokes this is the only weed eater that's a four stroke that I like recomend it! Love the power!
@svcruz Fogging oil. It keeps the plastic from drying out and cracking. It also mixes with the gas and kind of dilutes it so the tiny amount that is left doesn't get all gummed up. I spray fogging oil in the fuel lines, carb, and cylinder to prevent them from getting rusted or gummed up, or dry.
I am trying to find the diameter of the two fuel lines. I replaced the fuel lines, but one leaks by the tank. Was there a plastic piece that I am missing or do I have the wrong fuel line...
No mixing fuel, quieter, less fuel consumption, more low end torque. On the other hand, it's heavier, less powerful for its size and weight, more complicated, and requires more maintenance.
I like this guy's attention to detail, but I've yet to figure out why people want a 4 stroke trimmer. Money would be better spent on a straight shaft 2 stroke. I cut grass for a living...buy a $230 straight shaft Echo and be done with it. Usually what goes wrong with a trimmer is the all positions carb. This still has one. Although...I have to admit it does sound awesome.

SAE 30. I use Castrol HD 30. Had mine for over 5 yrs and it's still going strong.
I got one took the arrestor out and it was even better. I forget how to take off the trimmer head.

Min bogs when pressing the throttle any idea
Hey brother any idea on how to adjust the carb fuel mix screw? I can't find the damn thing on it...
This model doesn't have one. Non-adjustable carburetor. All you can do it make sure it's clean and has good gas.
im a hard 2 stroke fan but i found this interesting. i want to see it cutting grass b4 i like it.
My pull cord will not pull out, any ideas?
is this trimmer any good i mean should i buy it? how much was it?
what kind of oil was in the gas tank and the reason you use it while storing away during winter?
wow what a sound
I gotta replace my fuel lines- anyone know what size they are. My Cub still runs great
why 4 stroke?
Turn the idle screw out some... Idling too high
thats soo sick i want a 4stroke weed whacker (Y)
same as a yard machines y26cs
You'll never adjust the valves or change the oil on a 2 stroke.
but a 2 stroke is less fuel efficient and wears out a lot faster than a 4 stroke.
And there's all those great fumes from a 2 stroke too, don't forget that!!
