I paid 150 they on sale. I like the tough shell Jacket it looks Official but they don't have it in a Xl. U made a good point about not getting them big tho. A snug fit is good another youtuber mentioned that too, to get the heat all over
I’ve been looking for the Axis Heated coat but they don’t have that style in the HD near me. I’m just going to order one but I wasn’t sure what size to order. What size is the one your wearing ?
I'm wearing a small, and I'm 5'3", 135 lb. Milwaukee has a sizing chart on their website or the product page that goes off of chest and waist sizes too.
It is on the upper end. Previous models were $200, which was better. I think they used the included M12 USB charger as justification to raise it further.
I agree it is a little more awkward to deal with the round style battery, but they'd never redesign that M12 battery form factor around a one-off accessory like this jacket.
From the user manual: 1. Remove battery pack and battery controller. 2. Push the power cord completely into the battery controller pocket and zip closed. 3. Machine wash, Gentle Cycle in warm water. Do not use bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not wring or twist. 4. Tumble Dry on Low Heat. Do not iron.
It's good most of the time, but every once in a while when I sit down it jabs me and I have to readjust it. It will probably depend on the fit of your own jacket and the shape of your driver's seat.
I've got the jacket and their hoodie and have no problem with battery placement when in a car. There is a mesh sleeve inside the battery pocket that keeps the battery upright, that keeps it from laying down flat where it gets uncomfortable to put pressure against it.
My son has this jacket, he loves it. I have the toughshell version and I am very disappointed with it. iThe toughshell version is way too heavy and I end up never turning it on because it's always warm enough on its own. I also own the hoodie, I love it but have to say I am disappointed at how thin it is. It feels cheap like a hoodie that you would pay $15 for at Walmart. I think I am going to order the bare tool version of the axis, they run like $169 without the battery or charger.
I have the hoodie too, and one of the original jackets that was essentially the tough shell. I agree the hoodie is a little thin and it's cut super wide like a square so it fits me weird. I like the original jacket, but it's designed to be the outermost layer so if you wear a heavy sweatshirt under it you don't feel the heat as well. This Axis jacket is my favorite M12 heated gear I've tried. If I lived in a colder climate I might consider a vest for easier layering, but for living in the South the jacket version is perfect.
Thank you for showing us simply and quickly HOW TO TURN THE THING ON : )))
I have the tough sheep one and I love it and with a 6ah battery it will last a while great review
I wish the made this axis base layer with the hand warmer section like the coat has. Fingers get cold not your shoulders
Nice job! I always like watching your reviews keep them coming

220 is just a lil steep for a work coat.

Good friend, how are you?
One question is that your coat is M or L?
Thank you
I'm wearing a small, but it comes in sizes S-XXL. I'm 5'3", 145lb
@@DoresoomReviews thanks
@@DoresoomReviews And is this model good? Does it heat up well and is it hot?
Yes, I'd definitely recommend it. Plenty of heat, and great runtime
@@DoresoomReviews thanks friend 🙋🏻♂️
Why didn't they do a slim battery 😒

How is laundred?

controller pocket and zip closed.

So, not good for driving with that there battery, there, then?

How tall are you? What size are you wearing?
5'3" - definitely wearing a small!
Why wont the buttons turn on
Press and hold
What's your height and weight?
5'3" 135 lb. The small fits me perfect.
@@DoresoomReviews thank you for the quick reply. I think small will fit me well - 5' 7" @ 145 lb.
Yeah, sounds like it should fit fine. The Milwaukee sizing guide only lists chest and waist measurements for sizing.
You don't want it no more it's ripped giveaway time lol
You make a convincing argument. But I bet you don't wear a small! 😄

How long does one charge the battery
It runs for about 2.5 hours with both zones on high using a 2Ah battery. The M12 2Ah battery charges in about 30 minutes.
