I've owned both Milwaukee and Amazon brand. I agree with your assessment. When it's below 0, you need layers. If the heated gear is a few layers away from your body the warm is bastley noticeable. The battery on the Amazon one did not last near as long as the Milwaukee. Plus most of us have m12 Batts around from other tools. I like the Milwaukee better and I do use it but it doesn't make you warm on cold days. If helps take some of the chill out. Not really worth it at the end of the day

The Amazon jacket claims one heat zone in the upper back, two in the lower back (left and right), one in the chest, one for the pocket area, and one in the neck area for a total of 6. I said the right number in the video, but goofed up on the location. Sorry for the confusion.

needs bigger heating cells , turn up the heat and most importantly a much slimmer battery or 2 as an option

The battery packs are removable so in theory, that allows them to be washable.
