If you use any iron supplement it will darken that grass. I've used it in areas where grass is hard to grow and color is highly dependent on what's in the soil. That's why you got light and dark areas. Lots of trees around and no grass, that's usually a sign of depleted nutrients in the soil and your pH might be wacked. The only time I have lime green k31 was planting where pine trees had been. A perfect lime green color where the needles were and then outside of that circle it was dark green.

Your method is pretty darn good. The only variation I've seen that works a little better for me is to make that first pass a mulch plug pass, so take the bagger tube off completely. Great video though!

I used a shroud going to a dust cyclone that went into a hepa bag in my shopvac which was protected by a hepa filter. I also made a merv 14 air scrubber pulling air from my work zone in sealed plastic. The dust you dont see, can kill you. Also wear dust mask.

I use mole traps from Trapline, the smoke and bait methods don't really work with moles so save your money. With Trapline traps, you insert the traps directly into the tunnels, I buy a dozen and basically turned my lawn into a mine field for moles. Each year I catch between 2 to 5 moles in my backyard, they're a constant issue here in western Washington.

K31 grows too fast, that was my biggest problem with it. Had to mow constantly.

I'm a tow boater and was skeptical about how'd they would hold up with the hellish conditions or work and weather that gets thrown at us daily plus the 5 miles or more a day of walking. After 5 trips(28 days x 5) they're still holding up much better than I originally thought they would. They're so soft to wear it's like walking on the backs of baby kittens with every step. No more wearing square toe Ariat boots . Highly recommend even though they are about as stylish as a fat girl in a thong bikini. Cheers 🍻

Sounds like ur in the jacket standing in the cold. If ur out working u get warm n th heated jacket keeps u warm. I keep turning it off cos I gets tht hot. When we stop working every1 round me gets cold but I'm still warm. U don't get hit with heat when it's on but u defo keep heat in that's lost with none heated jackets. 100% get this jacket if ur working in it don't get it if ur standing in ur garden cutting up sticks 😂

K31 is awesome. Box store seed is crap and way too expensive.

You said to dunk the bag after 24 hours. How long dobu dunk for? Can you explain that part.

I have only used K31 as a pasture grass. It's qualities make it perfect for that.

3:10 how long do you need to soak? at least a few days he says. I personally think you should plant before the roots start showing. Once roots show the seed is very dlicate and can be easily damaged. I'm gonna try 2.5 days.

Pathetic, if the pto is off, the mowers not going to starr on a lawn tractor! FIY I just pull the deck off my lawn tractor mower to sharpen the blades. And Ill just use a 4" body grinder freehand, 2 good passes down each blade side gets it sharp. Its close enough to balance i don't even take the blades off.

Takes up a lot of room when not in use and isn't wide enough for larger zero turns ,you must check width of front wheels as I had to modify for my Scag Cheetah and widen so caster wheels would fit.

I live in a cul-de-sac and I have the triangle of death part where you got Street sidewalk and then the walkway to the street the absolute best thing to put there has been k-31 I've tried all the fescues Etc 231 wins out. And for those that say it hurts their feet I suggest you man up Plus in my yard what hurts is the sticks that fall from the twenty trees I have in tiny Suburban yard. So for me its price point and performance and k31 is a good seat if I can't find something else

Oh 100%....not only am I a cannabis grower, here in SW Michigan, I grow microgreens, BOTH are soaked in water for 24+ hours, hands down best way to ensure full, healthy germination.

Spend the money and buy blue tag seed. K31 has weed seed in it and you are planting lots of weed with it. Buy once cry once dont settle for crap
