We are loving the stories guys! Thanks for so many great comments! We'll be announcing the winner on this week's episode of the Power Tool Week In Review this Friday at 5pm, so be sure to subscribe if you haven't yet!
It will not work brother. Even the 12 ah battery can't heat up a wife's cold heart. Just toss money at her like a log on the fire. Best ya can hope for.
I live in Wisconsin and we've been having temps in 20s, with wind chill either single digits or negative; and it's only halfway through November. I work in a barely heated shop all day as an auto mechanic, where I occasionally have to go outside also. I would love a Milwaukee heated jacket! Thanks for the informative video!
Same fellow cheese eater. They have the Toughshell 3.0 out now and it's only $200. Worth every penny man. Buy one now while they are still in stock. I know this is two years later, but it comes with a better battery, more features, and for less money.
It helps a lot no matter you are a framer, plumber or electrician. A lot of time, we work in conditions with just the frame work with no insulation or Sheetrock. Even in the not so cold California, working in such conditions during winter is not fun. I highly suggest this jack to everyone in the trade.
Awesome Video, thanks for the mentions and link Sarah! As of this posts we've still got several hundreds of M12 Jackets & Hoodies In-Stock. The snow and cold have put a dent in the pile for sure, no way they'll make it to the holidays.
I recently took a job working construction when I moved back to Upstate NY. Working in conventional, bulky winter gear is exhausting. With a toddler at home and a new baby on the way, I can't afford to buy one of these - despite the fact that I stand at the store and stare longingly at them. It sure would be nice to come home a little more energized and a lot more warm. I'll think of you all everytime I pop in a new battery and get nestled in with my little boy and newborn baby... and my wife... and my pets. I'd better grab some extra batteries.
As a commercial refrigeration service tech I need one of these to keep me from freezing inside of walk-in boxes no matter how much I layer up in jackets I'm never able to keep my core warm enough and end up having to take breaks after a few hours when my hands get to the point where I can't even grip something, core gets cold blood flow slows, blood flow slows and hands begin to freeze faster this jacket would be a complete life saver and used year round not just the colder months
I have the heated vest and the tough shell heated jacket and I love them! One of the best purchases I ever made and I live in the middle of Kansas where the winter gets crazy. Definitely glad I got the vest and jacket.
I bought one back in 2012 when they first came out. Worked in a new building that was 20° and it was a lifesaver! Wife loves hers and wears it on the motorcycle along with in her car waitfor it to warm up. Also, get the lighter plug for when you wear it in the car or on your touring bike.
Bought the vest for son for christmas...was supposed to get a rebate for a free battery...every time i tried to submitting it it got denied. Got ahold of customer services, left a message with a person there. No response back. Sent in a customer service ticket...no response. Well...guess what..dewalt will now be getting our money
I would love to own one of these great looking jacket/coat! I work outside all day and often wear a big ugly coat that is not only not heated, but is not comfortable to wear. I’m a huge Milwaukee fan and would love to own one of these jackets. I want to look good, feel good, and not rely on using a spoon for drilling anymore.
Since I'm the youngest company man, I'm always the first one to be sent out in the cold on a job. Having one of these jackets would make my workday so much better!
Thanks for the review! I had a gen 1 red jacket and the zipper finally broke so its time for a new one! The one with heated pockets would really help me when working in the winter!! Thanks!
I’ve been tempted to buy the professional looking one that Rob was wearing but now I’m nervous of having the exact same problems Rob experiences and I probably wouldn’t be able to take the coat of long enough to get relief lol. Good job guys big thumbs up
My wife needs this to keep warm (skip the funny retorts, please) as even a 70° F house isn't always warm enough for her! Also, dinner just became "let's imitate Rob crying cuz his battery ran out" time.
I own 2 and loved them until the heating elements broke for both in less than a year each. I just use them as regular jackets now but they work just as well because of the good insulation. For me I have to layer another bigger jacket on top of the Milwaukee during really cold weather to get the best results.
Im a Electrician💡🔌🛠🔧 in New York Milwaukee Heated Jacket will make my work life better and more efficient as a Journeyman and i LOVE MILWAUKEE ❤its the best Brand for Electricians😎 You Guys Do awesome videos i watch yah all the time👌🏾
I purchased the heated vest and it rules!! Wish I had enough to get a jacket but maybe down the road a bit. Just the basic best replaces a heavy car hart coat as far as overall warmth factor. Thank You Milwaukee and thanks for the awesome review guys.
I just started installing AC disconnects outside this week. I had my carhartt bibs on but my upper body was still cold. All I could think the whole time was “I wish I had a Milwaukee heated jacket 😭” because I have friends who own them. Winning one would make my life out in the Indiana winter, SO much more bearable. Love you guys and your channel, thanks for the great content!!
I purchased an M12 Toughshell coat and the zipper already pops apart when you zip the coat up. It has barely 3 months of use. It's still under warranty but after nearly 10 months I'm not sure I can find the receipt. Very disappointing for a over $200 coat. Any advice besides never buying Milwaukee products again? I love it until I found how weak the zipper is. I have a $100 carhartt coat thats 20 years old with no holes and a perfect zipper and I use it for heavy labor every day.
I need this jacket! I work outside and it would change my life! Plus, I have done m12 fuel tools so I have the extra batteries to keep me warm all day.
I would love this jacket because Milwaukee is my absolute favourite brand. I live in the coldest city in the world (Winnipeg, Mb). I love ice fishing and hunting but it gets so cold sometimes that the fun gets cut short because of how cold it is. And last of all I am an apprentice plumber and having this jacket would make my outside jobs 1000 times more enjoyable. Thanks merry Christmas!
I tell you what you guys had me when I clicked on your video because I too just bought one for work 😂 I was actually upset for a minute! Haha but on a serious note I bought one of the heated hoodies for my work I am an HVAC technician and plumber and oh man this hoodie comes in handy! Just one situation where it shined the most, I was servicing a rooftop unit for no heat on a chilling day it was 25 degrees out with the wind chill made it feel like 10! All I had in the van was my thick jacket and Milwaukee winter hat! I quickly through a battery in my hoodie put the jacket on as an over layer and man I was sweating 😂! Worked great 👍 pair it up with insulated Milwaukee gloves and it's perfect! All I use is Milwaukee for my everyday job and my side business! Great tools and awesome customer service 👍. I really enjoyed the video too! Great job you guys!
I just bought heated gloves and I was saving my money to buy a heated jacket. I farm and work for the public works dept in our county. So dealing with the cold weather is a must to keep warm. I can’t tell you how many times I have had to sit and wait for a service truck to come and fix the salt truck during snow storms at 2 or 3 in the morning. Even though we have a blanket in our truck, it’s sometimes not enough to keep warm. So after 35 years pushing snow I decided I’m tired of being cold, I’m starting off with the gloves and hopefully if I could win a heated jacket, I be in heaven. Milwaukee makes a great product from tools to outdoor apparel which I have both at my farm
94 GT Coupe, I’d call their CS department up again, tell them the situation and how bummed out you are. Ask them what they can do to resolve your issue. If need be...escalate to a supervisor, they might have a bit more swag to help. Good Luck!
I work in a always cold environment as a maintenance mechanic at a meat processing facility. I currently have to attempt to layer clothing which keeps me warm but inhibits my mobility to perform my job. I think this would be a great solution to my situation. Thank you so much!
My M12 jacket got stolen. It was from the very first year they came out. Was still in perfect shape. I guess I shouldn’t have told people how nice it was🤯😡🤬
Mike Bihg out of my Truck...... I have my truck set up to do mobile install/ repair on vehicles, RV’s of all types, and home audio/ electronics /smart home items etc. if you have ever worn one of these things......after lunch when the sun comes out on the right day even without the heat they are hot enough you are sweating bad. I wear fitted under armour most days so I’m used to shedding the jacket for a few hours. So it got tossed in the back seat or right in the bed of my truck on top of my tool box drawer system and next morning went to grab, and gone. Drives me nuts, I checked and I don’t think it was an issue of “misplacing” it.... my customers would tell me. So that narrows it down to another contractor or hired guy. Next one I will get embroidered with logo or something. This and my Knipex Pliers wrench are the only 2 things I have had come up missing. Pliers wrench never even made it 48 hours! Never got to use them so I don’t even know if I like the damn things enough to buy another pair.
Mike Bihg why what’s up? Have you found it? Lol! Black, large, no hood, first gen before they did all these layer deals & stuff and diamond sewing pattern. It was that waterproof (pretty much stuff and then heavy ass fleece inside)
Mike Bihg oh I’m sure...... heck it could have been one of the flooring guys that asked me about it🙁. They didn’t get the battery adapter deal tho...... it was in my drawer with rest of m12 and m18 batteries
Rob is so busted at 2:55 that's clearly the Gen3 M18 impact driver, but he wants you to think it's M12 so he can't spare the battery. We weren't fooled, we all know you had to try drilling wood with a spoon 😂. On a serious note that was one of if not the most hilarious showcase to date, well done. I personally haven't surrendered to the heated gear gods but I do live in a very cold environment in upstate NY and we've already had a couple snows, so maybe I'll give it a try sometime.
Never owned a M12 jacket , but lots of my coworkers have them. I work a Laborer in Washington State. It gets cold here at the Hanford site and we do lots of work outside.Having a Milwaukee jacket would make working outside much more comfortable and able to work longer outside comfortably. Thank you for posting this video. I enjoyed the theatrics 😅
Sara and Rob, that was too funny! Here’s why I need one of those fantastic looking Milwaukee heated jackets: Idaho has some cold winters. We have a bunch of remodeling projects we’re trying to get completed before Thanksgiving and Christmas, which are going to require some outside activity. My hot flashes help during those 20 and 30 degree days/nights, but I need some help in between them! LOL!
Love this episode, Rob was so silly 😛😁😍😀. Here in Branson Mo you never know how fast the weather will change. People around here will say if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes. LOL😁😍😀. This type of layered jacket is perfect for the weather here in Branson Mo. Thanks ro Milwaukee for sponsoring the contest !!! Congrats to whoever wins. I would vote for the guy who has to climb 400 ft. Towers. Thanks Rob and Sarah for such a great show. Rodney
A jacket like this would come in so handy here in Wisconsin because we all know how cold it gets in the winter and how damp it gets in the early spring and late fall when those nasty easterly winds come directly off Lake Michigan. They put a chill right through your skin that seems to last for hours. A Milwaukee jacket would keep me from running into the house to warm up by taking a hot shower or drink several mugs of hot tea.
I just told another Cheesehead that I got the new Toughshell 3.0 (October 2022) and it's totally worth it. 3 zone heating. Dual controls. 3 temperature settings for each. Battery pocket pass through. Upgraded battery. $200. 12 run time on low. I couldn't be happier.
I work outside every day in Iowa and I have always wanted one of their jackets. I'd love to try the heated gloves too because I'm always having to take mine off to work for a few minutes and I'm putting on cold globes on cold hands.
Great video! I love reason #5! I really want a new axis jacket - maybe Santa will bring me one. The idea of having the heat on an inner layer makes a lot of sense. #Milwaukeetool you need to make a high visibility outer layer for those of us who have to play in traffic.
My company just began the framing of a 3800sq ft house on the water in Montauk Long Island and this jacket would literally save my life and limbs from the freezing temps and winds!! Great video guys I like what you did with the 5 reasons "not to buy it!"
You guys are crazy awesome hosts and writers ! This episode was the funniest I ever seen on Coptool ❤️❤️❤️ every weeks are getting better and better ! Much love from my freezing country Canada ( where I wear my heated jacket too ! )
Depends on how you use it. The men's jacket has two heat zones, turn both onto high and you'll burn it down just in time to grab a second battery off the charger. But if you put just one zone on "low", it should last up to 8 hours. (But screw that noise)
I have the m12 heated jacket and it’s garbage. My battery is fully charged yet the jacket refuses to turn on. I will NEVER waste money on Milwaukee again.
Don't know if I'm too late, but I work on a locomotive for the city I live..we tend to push flats and cranes rather than pull. So someone has to be on the front of the flat in the elements and be the eyes for the operator. It gets pretty cold out there during the winter ( Northeast area of the country)
I have the hoodie, my wife has the shell jacket. They are MEH at best. We work outside and in the winter you can’t even feel the heating elements. The only way you can feel them is if it’s on high, your wearing a lightweight shirt, and another something over top of them. If you are layered up you will not even be able to tell it’s on. Here’s my layering to put this into perspective. Cotton tank/beater, long John or fleece thermal base layer, thermal long sleeve, then hoodie. And I can’t feel the heating elements. If I go inside, or sit in my truck to warm my feet and hand, after about 5-10 minutes and the pressure of sitting against the elements you will feel them. But once you get back out into the cold. Nope. One thing I found that works is to wear a tank top, lightweight dry fit type shirt, heated hoodie, then another hoodie on top. Then I can feel the heat. But at that point the two hoodies is cumbersome and hard to work in. Oh, not to mention that M12 battery and adaptor is like carrying a brick in your pocket. Or rib cage I should say as they have the pocket in a weird spot. It’s a great hoodie for sitting around a camp fire, at a hockey rink, driving in the truck, etc. but for actual outdoor work use. I would not recommend.
I dont have a heated vest but a hoodie and this thing keep me warm. I'm thinking of using it with the m12 redlithuim xc 6.0 to see how long it will last.
I would give it to my pops. He works on a dairy ranch and works rain or shine and when it rains over there it pores. Especially in the fall/ winter time he's out there 5-530am while most of us are still dreaming in our comfortable nice and warm beds. He does a lot of manuel labor, always moving around so the jacket with the tough shell is the one he needs to hold working around unpredictable livestock where it's always muddy. The tough shell jacket would keep him very warm all day especially when he's separating cattle while riding horses or quad with all that cold wind hitting his body. Thanks" COP" for the video review and the chance to win one, I know who ever wins will love the jacket!
Last week while hunting I broke my ankle and was stuck a long way from no where. I had no signal on my phone but I did have a milwaukee heated hoodie under a decent winter jacket. Anyhoo I spent the night and it was frickin cold....22f , I'm not saying it saved my life but it sure did make a long cold night more comfortable. I had two of 3ah and a 6ah with me....no problems running the jacket on high for 9 hours. At that point in time I was convinced that this hoodie was the best thing that I have ever bought.
I know this is 3 years old but I've just found this video because I'm after a heated jacket. And just have to say this is the funniest and educational but the most hilarious video I have ever seen.
Although, a Milwaukee Axis jacket would be amazing for me to own, I KNOW this would make my wifes life better. She rides a motorcycle in the winter. She is cold blooded and currently requires me to be her heated jacket.
@coptool I Would love a Milwaukee m12 heated jacket for the cold weather we get here in western NY, I think it would be great for when I’m out plowing snow or fixing equipment in a snow bank! I would probably wear it out Snowmobiling as well and out helping my local snowmobile club with trail work and grooming.
I’m still working outside in December in Ohio. I take a 5 minute break every 40 minutes to warm up. This jacket would help me so much I’ve been so hesitant to buy one because reviews are all mixed. Would really be great if it worked as well as you say I’ll still be working outside through parts of winter. Philip
I'm a plumber and bought one back in 2017 and it's great for those cold days in the northeast. I know they have redesigned them since then. I would love to get one for my wife to keep her warm when we are on the job together.
My wife and I have been looking for ways to stay warm when we're out 4wheeling during winter. These would be perfect addition to our Milwaukee arsenal.
When does the contest end? Would’ve been nice to have during a house remodel. We were without power for the first week. The generator was for lights, & tools. The furnace wasn’t working. The heated Milwaukee jacket would have been nice & warm.
I live in Illinois and Part of my job is to board up/secure structures. Day or night . Rain or shine or snow. The heated gear would definitely help out this time of year.
Im a Site Safety Health Officer in San Diego and i constantly have to be out on the field inspecting work. Rain or shine. So being prepared for a rainy or windy day with an M12 Heated Jacket would make my job more awesome!!!
My shop and I (vocational highschool) go out on the job quite a bit during the winter, and this jacket would definitely help keep warm when it gets cold, while still being light/small enough to still have manual dexterity
Motorcycling! I want to ride my big fat Honda Valkyrie in cold weather with a Milwaukee heated jacket. Will it work as well as a heated vest? No cords!
Loved the vid, you two are the best! I too, am from Central O-H, Lancaster to be exact. Once I figured out that the weather is better in Nor Cal, only took me 30 years, I moved out here. When I got here I laughed at people wearing jackets in November when it is in the upper 60's. Now when I go home to Ohio in the Fall or Winter, I am freezing!!!!!! I need one of these heated jackets so I will go visit my family in Ohio more often! Thanks for all you do!
currently living in the northeast and working outside, this jacket would make life more tolerable with the cold temperatures and help me be more productive by keeping me comfortable to do my job
I got my XL jacket last year for an outer layer it works but it's too big I lost so much weight that my parents wasn't sure if I was a L or XL so they got me an XL, today I wanted the vest but I got the hoodie because I wanted my heat to be my inner layer so I broke down and I bought the hoodie. Now I havw a heat hoodie that I wear undet my jacket and three 3ah batteries as well as two 1.5 AH batteries so on extremely cold days I can be warm by having both my jacket and hoodie on!
We are loving the stories guys! Thanks for so many great comments! We'll be announcing the winner on this week's episode of the Power Tool Week In Review this Friday at 5pm, so be sure to subscribe if you haven't yet!
you dont tell us the prices, whats the point?

Man this was so hard to watch. The anger is obviously fake, maybe you intended that maybe you didn’t. But I want real opinions, not reality tv.
@@Tsxtasy1 sorry it went over your head a bit. It won’t work for everyone. The jackets work great. We love them.
I would love to have this jacket to heat up my wife’s cold heart and allow me to purchase more Milwaukee gear.
It will not work brother. Even the 12 ah battery can't heat up a wife's cold heart. Just toss money at her like a log on the fire. Best ya can hope for.
I’m getting my old lady too for the same reason
😂😂
I think if you get her an M18 12AH vibrator, that might just get you what you need.
Lmao!!!!! Love your comment
Agreed "no one should be happy living in Ohio"

Heated jackets rock! Makes outdoor work in the cold a breeze! A must have
I purchased the hoodie today. It's very comfortable and warm. As a big plus the heat helped my back pain.
This would be a godsend. I’m constantly outside doing hvac and this would just make working better especially this time of year.
Is there still a promotion

Top Shelf Innovations some had to have known what it was cause nobody takes jackets ,I use my extra jackets to cover my tools lol
I climb 400’ towers year round in Minnesota and North Dakota, ‘nuff said!
Woah! Cool job! I LOVE heights. Lemme know if you need a caddy up there. ;-)
Coptool “cool job,” I see what you did there. 😉
Tanner J give this guy a jacket, and me one too. 😉
Here’s why I need one of those fantastic looking Milwaukee heated jackets:
Idaho has some cold winters. We have a bunch of remodeling projects we’re trying to get completed before Thanksgiving and Christmas, which are going to require some outside activity. My hot flashes help during those 20 and 30 degree days/nights, but I need some help in between them! LOL!
Sneaky double entry by the Lucas crew! ;-)
What if you lay down in the ground often? Would that damage them?
Milwaukee m12 heated Jacket would make my cold mornings so much better I would look good and be warm.
As bulky as it is get a 6ah battery coz the 2ah is shit the only bad thing about the jacket in my eyes
Great job on the video 😊 We just moved to west TN from sunny Florida. Our first winter ❄️😮 My 12 yr old son is learning to hunt so he needs this!
Rodney
Thanks so much Rodney!
yeah I know what you mean st. Louis native here.
The connector inside my jacket that plugs into the battery pack is damaged. Can you please help me to locate that cable end.
I live in Canada... and snowshoe to my neighbours. Of course I need one of these jackets!
I live in Canada, I think that's a good enough reason.
Me too, only if I could afford to buy one 😂😂
Wonder if I can use this for snowboarding ...
I frame houses year round no matter the temp and would love to have one so I don’t have to wear as many layers and would be more noble
Thanks Joe!
You guys are crazy awesome hosts and writers ! This episode was the funniest I ever seen on Coptool ❤️❤️❤️ every weeks are getting better and better ! Much love from my freezing country Canada ( where I wear my heated jacket too ! )
Thanks brother!!
I need this system now! Being outside in the snow in Ohio SUCKS! Looking forward to HiViz variants soon!
We would LOVE to see a HiViz version.
Can you send me the email address for contest entries? I wrote coptool.com/contest and it failed. I guess I needed to put an @ something??
You just need to leave a comment here to enter Rodney. You're in bud.
How long does the battery last?
Depends on how you use it. The men's jacket has two heat zones, turn both onto high and you'll burn it down just in time to grab a second battery off the charger. But if you put just one zone on "low", it should last up to 8 hours. (But screw that noise)
@@ToolShow what about with a compact 3.0?
I have the m12 heated jacket and it’s garbage. My battery is fully charged yet the jacket refuses to turn on. I will NEVER waste money on Milwaukee again.
Don't know if I'm too late, but I work on a locomotive for the city I live..we tend to push flats and cranes rather than pull. So someone has to be on the front of the flat in the elements and be the eyes for the operator. It gets pretty cold out there during the winter ( Northeast area of the country)
I just bought one and IT SUCKS. High wasn’t even warm enough to call low. 🤯
TRUTHandANSWERS that’s why I bought Bosch hottest last I knew. I’ve had two. The bad thing is they only have one style and no heaters in the pockets.
You got a junk one because mine heats up amazing
I have been looking at the axis system, thanks for the review. But is it really worth the price?
I dont have a heated vest but a hoodie and this thing keep me warm. I'm thinking of using it with the m12 redlithuim xc 6.0 to see how long it will last.
Do the batteries also work for a vibrator?
Would love to try one of these in the snow?
I know there is an adapter to use the 18V battery for more runtime. But does it make it warmer ?
Im a Site Safety Health Officer in San Diego and i constantly have to be out on the field inspecting work. Rain or shine. So being prepared for a rainy or windy day with an M12 Heated Jacket would make my job more awesome!!!
I just purchased a camo version. Going to try it in the woods this weekend. Would sure love a second jacket for everyday wear hear in Kentucky.
No cords!
Less layers and still warm!? I think yes! this is a necessity for my daily outside work and would be a game changer to own
Loved the vid, you two are the best!
Has Milwaukee ever made a 5x size?
What do you about cleaning them??
currently living in the northeast and working outside, this jacket would make life more tolerable with the cold temperatures and help me be more productive by keeping me comfortable to do my job
Batteries included...?
I got my XL jacket last year for an outer layer it works but it's too big I lost so much weight that my parents wasn't sure if I was a L or XL so they got me an XL, today I wanted the vest but I got the hoodie because I wanted my heat to be my inner layer so I broke down and I bought the hoodie.
Now I havw a heat hoodie that I wear undet my jacket and three 3ah batteries as well as two 1.5 AH batteries so on extremely cold days I can be warm by having both my jacket and hoodie on!
