I cannot believe Milwaukee came out with a whole new battery pack to be more comfortable on your back instead of putting the battery in the front pocket.
@@SSchmidt-r7t most of the newer gear from the last year or two does have a pass through where the battery pack can be stored in a pocket under your front left pocket (not shared pocket) instead of the back pocket

I live in cold NW Wisconsin and so far I’ve been good with a heavy Carhartt jacket and thermal undergarments but I’ve been thinking on an electric jacket.
You don’t need it but it’s nice to have a little warmth. I’ll wear it in the fall just to have some nice warmth in the morning. Don’t really make a huge difference on days like we’ve been having in WI lately but just a nice comfort. I have just the sweatshirt and an old model and works good. Rotate 2 batteries in a day
Don't waste your money. I bought the heated jacket and took it back the very next day. If you do end up getting a hoodie or a jacket, make sure they fit very snug or you won't be able to feel any heat.
Sorry Milwaukee doesn't share info regarding tools and releases for other countries with us. Probably best to ask your local distributor and see if they know or can ask Milwaukee UK
@@kathynewburn2707 Correct you’ll need a battery with more amp hours when running the jacket on high. You might only get another hour or so though. You can also buy a M18 power source if you have M18 slim batteries (2Ah) click link below for power source. www.toolnut.com/milwaukee-49-24-2371-m18-power-source.html
I’d like to know how to shut them off completely. Even if I push the power button the battery is still communicating with the app and if I put it up for a couple of weeks they (I have2) will both be dead. If I push and hold the button it will disconnect from the app but the connection light stays on
The one in the video is the M102 HEXON series (newest) the description might be different on different sites calling it a hooded jacket or axis winter jacket, they should be the same though (could also be the older models that are being discontinued) M102 series is newest and should also say HEXON which is hooded and good for winter wear
Correct just search TOUGHSHELL, you may only be able to find the new HEXON version unless someone has last years model in stock. If not HEXON then it is last years model (older)
@@StariusPrime If you want to use the App feature it only works with Hexon Heat Technology Equipped Garments. It will still work with the non Hexon garments. Currently Milwaukee is not offering hoodies with the Hexon feature.
I don't think my axis jacket gets that warm. Also. I paid for the flat battery because the included battery was very uncomfortable. The flat battery seems to be a 2.5 hour max. It was a lot of money. I'm on the fence with keeping it. I'm 5-9 184Lbs. The medium is a little snug and the large was enormous on me.
I have the single plug. If they can’t make it work with the last model I’ll never buy another one in this “money grab”. The whole platform is already over priced and the few remaining things like the heated gear, we are getting screwed on. Sad sad sad.

I’m torn between the Toughshell and the axis jacket. My older model toughshell feels almost stiff, is the new version the same material? I do like the Axis due to it looking more of a lighter slimmer jacket. Is that the case with that jacket?
Great vid! I work on this project and you're going to absolutely love the stuff that's coming next year as well.
Top upgrades ❤
Have the holder one and wont change it... Work just fine for me. Over all its a very nice jacket
