As you can tell from the video this was shot 12/4/18 but we couldn't post it soon after because we were too busy and just wouldn't be able to handle the influx in orders, but now we can! With that said I don't know how much of what was shown in the video will be available on the website, we hate to tease you guys like this, but soon we'll be back to our normally scheduled videos!

Steve made such a beautiful statement when Max said "even though I am not part of the family" of course Max is part of the family. You can see how much he us loved by all of you. This seems to be the norm with all your employees. You are all a family.

Hello from northern Ireland. I just received a big surprise from my friends Beth and Eric who live not far from yourselves, they sent me a box with ribbon candy and a large box of cashew brittle. I am so over the moon that I have finally gotten to taste your incredible candy especially after watching your videos and following you all on social media for such a long time. I'm sitting watching this video getting stuck into my box of brittle and I'm loving it. Please keep up your awesome work as you bring so much happiness to so many people. You know if ya didn’t throw the dust out, go get some chocolate and melt it and add the ribbon candy and that way you get the best of both worlds and you don’t waste it. That’s what I would do. I have about 40 or more lbs of chocolate but no kitchen or kitchen😭.. that’s what I would do

My mom doesn't go on RUclips but I showed her you guys making peanut butter filled ribbons and she said she needs that in her life and hated that you don't ship them. She also wants to meet Terry. We're in Michigan and she wants to have a road trip...just for peanut butter filled ribbons.
Pssst.... the peanut butter filled ribbon candy is the only ribbon candy they do ship. It's thicker and sturdier. 😉😁

From somebody who helps run a family corporation & two other family business it’s nice to see the humorous family banter you all engage in. The new candy shop looks great, should be placing a order here soon!
I made 6 of your recipes for Christmas treats for the family.
The hardest one to make was the chocolate covered cherries.
Made, Cow chips, plain chocolate chip bark, peanut butter chip bark, CCC, did the pretzel sticks with my own spin, peppermint white chocolate, ended up tasting like Ande’s mint and pecan clusters.
I learned a lot with the chocolate, like if you want a better tasting chocolate, it’s better to use white chocolate and add a tad bit of dark cacao for a smoother better flavored chocolate then just chips.

i feel like Steve would have a much easier time cutting out the turtles with a round cookie cutter (they're available in all kinds of sizes) than a dull cup - would be quicker and he wouldn't have to use as much force :)
I wish I lived in Syracuse so I could apply for a job at Hercules, I can't imagine a better place to work. 🙂

I can't even imagine how tired everyone must be during the busy season. How many days in a row have you all worked 13 hour days? Is it easier or harder now that it isn't the lower levels of your home?

My son in law works for a family run candy store in Pennsylvania, they also make the candies/ chocolates in the store. The store owner family is fantastic and take really great care of all their employees!

In Scotland we have cola cubes, which is cola flavoured red cubes with a light sugar coating, they're very very nice...i bet if you made them they would taste awesome...i love your videos!!! Great family business!
I don't know about your state, but in TX food service workers are not allowed to chew gum while working with food. You might want to check on that, not bashiing--- just letting you know. Love your videos :)

To be the son of the candy makers, it doesn’t seem as though you are very familiar with the makings. I would think that you would’ve had various jobs in the back of the shop as you grew up.

Hey Steve, would a small tomato paste can with both ends cut out work for the turtles? Might get smoother lines and could also file as needed. I still have the one from "the old days" lol.
