That little room must hold so many emotional things for Steve. The countless hours spent in that room, churning out countless candies. You can see him look at it with nostalgia and perhaps some pride too. It is one hell of an accomplishment. He seems like such a nice guy. Its funny watching him. Every movement is purposeful No energy is expended without reason. Sort of reminds me of a sloth but in a good way. His son has done a great job of helping to get the name of their candy out to the world and turning it into a great family business. I wish nothing but the best for them all. They have worked very hard to get to this point. Good for them!
I know we all thought we would miss the basement atmosphere and maybe some do, but honestly, seeing Steve crouch around down there and it being all empty, I don’t miss it. I’m glad you guys have more room and can stand up fully lol. I guess it was the family that made the atmosphere all along, not the stinkin basement 😭
I kinda hate when things change, but I have to agree; seeing y'all in the basement, it's better in the new place. But I also agree with Karen, the old shop was cute. You should make it a museum: the Hercules Candy museum. 😉😀
What I miss about the new store? 1. The Christmas movie watching and quoting in the basement. 2. Karen giving ribbon tying tutorial. “Pull it tight like your choking somebody.” 🤣🤣🤣
You guys being successful enough to have a “proper” candy shop and sales going up from RUclips success couldn’t have a happened to better people I swear. The most wholesome people. ❤️
its always amazing to me whenever I eat something made from hands. Seeing steve's face when he said he cant believe they made all that candy there made my heart leap. The journey is amazing, enjoy the ride, in trinidad we say " after one time, is two"
Because you have Sunday off, you want a home office so you can do some work on the Sunday. 🤔 We need to teach momdre how to take a day off.... Put feet up, eat vegan chocolate.
Julia Richards Terry and her family are vegan. Chocolate, itself, is vegan (unless it's milk chocolate). Dark chocolate is actually better for you due to the antioxidants.
Donna Turnbull • to me, it always came across a little inefficient with a lot of walking up and down with heavy things. They really had their own system/method going on!
Wow! I’ve been waiting forever to see what the old store and everything looks like.......it all looks soo tiny, even more than when everything was packed in there! Great vid and update, thank you! P.S. edit; I really miss Karen in vids, she’s in so few now & never choking like she used to.
At first i was sad when you guys move to the new building, but you guys came so far you deserve better place. Took me a while to get use of it. When i literally watch you guys a year now. ♡ ill buy stuff when its not hot. You got us into ribbon candies!!!
Thanks for the tour and all the interviews! MAX dropped candy! Is there footage? Chopping up puddles is always cool. No one mentioned missing the front door squeaks. 🤣 ❤
Wow so much has changed. Im gonna miss the old shop but I'm glad you have moved out. You guys have grown so much in a year. So proud of my fav candy shop.
Seeing Steve turn the lights out was like watching your favorite episodes last show. BUT! Bittersweet because I get to watch you guys in action at your big fancy shop. You guys deserve the best ❤️ I've been watching for some time. May God continue to bless you all!!!
Aww, the little red bucket in the cabinet at 2:00 made it to the new place. My son grabbed it and filled it with candy when we were there this week. :) It's impressive how much he fit in there.

I so love seeing the old shop. It’s so great. You will have to show us the new house when you move. I will miss the house you have now. So many family dinners in that kitchen. I love that y’all used the basement to make candy. There is a certain romance to it. I agree with Karen about the closeness of how everything was. There was a cosy feeling about it. I loved watching y’all back in the beginning. Thanks for the tours Terry and Steve! Thank you Craig for all the hours of video.💖
Seeing the old shop makes me sentimental of the times when I was first starting to watch the Hercules videos. At the same time, it makes me proud of how far you guys have come and all the things you guys have done. Keep up the good work!
This really makes it easy to appreciate how much hard work has gone into the business. Both in making the old space work and building the business enough to grow into the new building.
I think sometimes somber is good. We all get sad at times, and the hercules crew is so human. That's why so many people have fallen in love with them. They tells it as they sees it.
Its too bad there isn't room for a small kitchen at the new place, it was really fun watching the family and friends hanging out cooking and eating together.
Guys, be proud, genuinely proud. You have certainly made progress. To lay down your heads at night and think about how far your hard work and companionship took you, It must be satisfying. Kind regards to you all.
When the 1st Hercules video showed up in my recommendation s I was intrigued by the mom.and pop feel.of it. That was a few months before the move and I've since been a loyal subscriber , made two orders and made plans to come visit when time and money allow.
You guys have made such a progression with Hercules over the years and the new shop. So happy for y'all (even if Karen misses the old one;) And I think we need to either duplicate or clone Terri (cause everyone could need a Momdre in their life:)
Wow. I was looking forward to this video because I was nostalgic for the old shop. Now I see all the specialness was Terry and Steve and they took the specialness with them!
Sad seeing it all so empty. Happy you guys have the new place, more professional, so much bigger and no more ducking. Lots of cleaning still needs to be done in old place.
Wow!! unbelievable that you made all the candy in such a small space. Thank you for sharing, loved watching this. All the best, onwards and upwards :-)
I was wondering about the old shop thanks for the update. It's amazing how much was in that smaller space. This is a great video. It's interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes of making and packaging candy. 😊👍
Thank you SO MUCH for doing this video. It is amazing how everything fit into the old space, and it does seem smaller since it is empty. Loved seeing the basement....lot's of hours and enjoyable videos made there. Thanks again!
Its really cool to look back at where it all started, all that candy you guys made there, thanks for the tour of the old place, it was interesting to see it all 👍
Thank you for this video. I know you guys say you don't know why we would want to see down there, but we saw so so much down there over the years and we grew accustomed to it and then when you guys moved, it was, at least to me, like when a good friend moves away and you wonder how they are. It's the same with the 'old' place for me. The fun times and energy in that building, I can feel it through the camera. I mean, look at all of the laughs and dad jokes and banter as the candy was made. Hearing you all chat about old times and memories as the goodies were made, made us feel involved in something. So I personally have warm feelings for that old place. The new place is awesome too, but the energy is different. Much love for that basement and store area. I appreciate the look-see.xx
So much fun to go down memory lane. I can understand Kate about what she is missing but the candymakers did one awesome job in that small space with all the ducking they had to do everyday. Oh and those lenses, I like toys like that. 😉 I had some of my own when I was in my twenties like you are now Craig and I photographed bands and others singers during a tv show we had here in the Netherlands called Countdown. You have a Sony now but I'm totally into Canon. 😁 Oh no Craig, I have a feeling we're gonna get more you know what comments now you showed the peanutbutter fluffer cups. 😨😨 The scattered video I didn't mind at all. It just shows me it's normal, not set up. You know what I mean. Loved it. Nice job Craig and the rest of the Hercules team. 👍💕💕
Awesome tour of the old “home plant” and especially the pic of your dad with the sweet ‘stache in the yellowed framed picture, btw, he is a clone of you!!! 👍😎🆒😂😂😂
I love seeing how far you guys have come with your business. I remember 2 years ago I was watching the chocolate covered twizzlers video and became hooked instantly!
Watching this vid proves that anything can be done in the space available to you. Determination to do It, however, is a must have! I was also curious about the old place, thank you, good vid. Terry, I love cd's too!
So cool to see the basement and think of all the different candy being made by everyone and the nice wide no-ducking down new business. Everyone worked so hard and long and definitely deserve the new location. But the archives will be great to watch to just see where you've been. Just wild!! Of course Max is better viewed in the new store. YUMMY!!! Enjoyed this video very much. Now, Mom, make lunch and get to work!! Oh, Steve, what a hard worker he is. The store, the candy and maintaining the house and basement. Can I get a clone of Steve?? I've already asked God for a clone of Max. Can't blame a girl for asking!!! Love you all!! 😁😁😁💜💛💙💛💜💖
Didn't find this boring at all! Esp liked seeing all the nooks and crannies in Steve's grotto. brought back a lot of memories of all the candies esp in the starch room and learning to work the first enrober! This was a nice opportunity to reminisce, thank you. btw: any handiman worth his salt can make do with WD40 and a roll of duct tape! lol!

He definitely looked like he had memories going through his head, standing there in the basement.

Yeah I noticed lol. I found that funny
For some reason, this episode came off as very somber in certain areas, especially with Mom/Dad/Karen. Max though, as always, turns the mood around!
