Such a lovely place. You have shared so many spots in Mexico that we have never heard about and we are so grateful to you for opening our eyes to the beauty of this country.
I came to the USA in 1980 I was 14 years old. I been back a few times I seen so many people show videos of Mexico and nobody shows the heart and soul of Mexico like you guys this is the Mexico I grew up and remember not the one on the news. Today it was so beautiful you make me cry .Thank you from the bottom of my heart.God bless you.
I share your sentiment for the brave souls that have fought and sacrificed their lives for freedom everywhere in the world. That was a great scene in the fist of Morelos, very appropriate. 😄
I can not wait to visit Patzcuaro. Morelia sold us on Michoacan, and now this lovely town. I am going to bring an extra big bag because I know I will be doing a lot of shopping.
beautiful and enjoyable the streets, the walls, the ceilings, the nature, the parks, the culture and of course the food definetly Patzcuaro it´s a most
One of my most favorite places in Mexico! Patzcuaro is popular among frequent travelers but still unknown to the casual tourist. Super great job you two in describing this part of beautiful Michoacan!
@@TheCountryCollectors You mentioned self governing of the Purépecha. There is a town called Cherán where the locals actually kicked out the government. Great story. Then there is the volcano Paricutín where you can ride to by horse then hike to the top for views and an interesting slide down. The local town there of Angahuan, the locals all speak Purépecha and not Spanish. Then if she is still with us, you can visit the original Mama Coco at her home in Santa Fe Dela Laguna. She would be 108 now. I sat with her last year. The town also has the church featured in the movie Coco. Also... right there in Patzcuaro where the church of Santo Sierra is located are 33 olive trees brought from Spain by Quiroga himself. 29 still survive. The 33 trees represented the years Jesus lived. I love spending time there. Sooo much history. There you go. Maybe TMI but I do love Michoacan.
It's hard to find more fantastic words for your effort, work, energy that you put into every video! I know when I see a new upload, coffee is already being prepared with a nice mountain blanket! 🔥🔥
Good morning Heidi and Adam! The Morelia video last week was awesome so I have been really looking forward to seeing more of Morelia. Patzcuaro here we come!
Hello Adam and Heidi, Happy Sunday! Thank you for what you do! Thank You for sharing with the world what a truly wonderful country Mexico is. You two are amazing people, I love your kindness and humility, Heidi when you guys were up in the Morelos statue and you pause a moment to reflect in the past history 😢 through you I felt the emotion. I LOVE YOU GUYS! Thank You!🙏🏼
Hi! Thank you for being here with us and joining us on our experiences. Up there in his fist really made me emotional. I am so appreciative of Mexico and it’s people and it was just overwhelming.
You guys are amazing! thank you for sharing the wonderful parts of Mexico that people dont know about. This city is in my bucket list now thanks to you. we appreciate you 🙏🏻
Was so fun to see you in Pátzcuaro. I was JUST there during Semana Santa(Dia de Muertos a few years back) and did all the things that you did. I have visited there a number of times and it is one of my favorite places in Mexico because of all the art and Purépecha culture. Janitzio was NOT my favorite place because it was so commercial and frankly it would be the last place I would spend Día de Muertos. There are so many wonderful small towns around the lake(Tzinzanzun a favorite) that are really wonderful to visit for this special day. I hope you venture out to Santa Clara del Cobre(home to the Copper artists), Capula(Catrinas), Paracho(Guitar makers), and to many of the other wonderful towns in the area. I’ll look forward to seeing where you end up. Thanks for sharing this very special place in my heart!!!!❤❤❤❤
When queen Heidi gets emotional we ALL get emotional! 😢 ❤ another amazing video you guys make Sunday a day to look up to…just like when a good show is on TV! Much love.
Hola Heidi y Adam! Bendiciones!❤
Patzcuaro is very pretty and Janitzio is really cool! The view from Morelos' fist was fantastic! The central park looked very relaxing, loved the layers on the arches, and loved all of the history of the city, thanks for bringing us along.
Good morning, Adam and Heidi. Thanks once again for highlighting the beauty and culture of Mexico. I look forward to watching the many activities you bring to us each Sunday. 👍 🇲🇽
Entiendo los sentimientos que afloraron por qué precisamente de eso se trata el dia de muertos , honrar a los que ya no están con nosotros y de alguna manera hicieron que podamos lograr movernos con libertad a dónde podamos . Saludos a los dos.
First time I ever herd of this place was from the 1944 movie “The Falcon in Mexico.” They showed the butterfly boat, masked dancing, beautiful songs & beautiful place. It still looks beautiful.
Lo primero que hago al despertar el domingo es buscar su nuevo video, siempre interesantes y emotivos, Gracias de nuevo Heidi / Adam, sigan disfrutando y compartiendo lo bello que es México. Saludos.
Incredible amigos!! I really appreciate your emotions Heidi and love how you both always give us a history lesson, respect the culture and people. So admirable. This is Canadian thanksgiving weekend (and my bday tomorrow) so sending lots of gratitude and love your way. Muchas gracias!!!! ❤🥰🙏🥳🦃
Great job as always! Thank you so much for visiting these beautiful pueblos in Michoacán. We truly appreciate the research and hard work you put into your videos.
I love how you guys capture the different cities and areas of Mexico and share some of the lesser known facts among the best things people go there to see and do. This looks like a great area, and I've only ever visited the warmer climate areas of Mexico. Dia De Los Muertos is a celebration I'd love to be in Mexico for.
16:19 Ahhh Heidi! You always do it to me! Whenever you get choked up and overwhelmed with just how beautiful things are and the significance of the experience you are having, it always makes me think of my brother who is no longer with us, and that brings a tear (or a hundred) to my eyes. He and I always talked about moving to Mexico. Unfortunately, he passed before that dream could be realized. And it is because of YOU and ADAM that I have picked that dream back up and want to bring it into being, to honor him. You just don't know how you inspire me and I would dare say, so many others. Your videos and your travels mean so much to me. Thank you for yet ANOTHER great adventure!
Awww wow! This truly means so much to me (us) so thank you for sharing it! That really fills up my heart. My sister passed March of 2021 so I understand completely. I try to live each day a little more for her and try to find her in the simplest moments. We hope that you do follow your dream and see it out because I know your brother will be there with you, by your side in spirit.
Thanks Heidi and Adam. Great video (as always). Pátzcuaro looks really interesting with it's mix of indigenous and colonial roots. Will include it on the wish list for our next Mexican adventure!
Wow! My husband and I have been to so many beautiful towns in Mexico but have never been to Patzcuaro or Janitzio. They are definitely on my list for 2023. Thanks for showing the culture, history and local vibe of these places. That is what I truly love about Mexico ❤️
Ohh your best video ever guys..Got choked up right along with you Heidi..you are such an empath and you connect with humanity on a ground level.Yes , it is so beautiful that there were and still are people willing to sacrifice for others and I can only imagine that your sister was just as kind and empathetic as you are...am sure she is with you all along side on your journeys and adventures..cheering you on !😇🥰💙💖🙏
On behalf of someone who’s grandparents and parents were born in one of the indigenous communities surrounding the lake. I have to say great video. & I can't wait to visit Pátzcuaro & Janitzio again! Thank you.
I recently discovered my grandmother was born in Patzcuaro which brought me to your video. So cool to get a glimpse of what the backdrop of her childhood might have looked like. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much for showing the real Mexico with a great investigation of history, culture, places, food, etc!!.... Pátzcuaro is my birthtown and I never get tired of explaining the beauty of its essence!... and now that I found you guys its gonna be so much easy to show and explain what I'm talking about!... your explanation is so perfect!!... I live in Minessota now and when people ask me: where are you from?? I wanted to explain the beauty of my town, but now, I'm just going to tell them to look at you!!... THANK GOD I FOUND YOU GUYS!!!... ;)
Wow! These videos about Michoacán are the best I've seen yet. It seems that Michoacán is not yet on the tourist trail but it really should be. I can imagine Morelia becoming the next super-hipster spot for retirees and others, looking for that perfect place to live.
My husband and I love you guys!! Best by far! Love all that you share with us... we are making a list of all the amazing places we want to see in Mexico!! 💕
Heidi, thank you for your feelings towards Mexico, I know how you feel, witnessing such a beautiful place, hard working people and to think of all they have been through. The fights they had to endure to become the great country they are, and also, seeing such beauty and knowing some mexicans (cartels) not appreciating it, it gets to you. I feel that way, Mexico is so great in so many ways, and some people take it for granted, and they keep robbing it and abusing it. But let's not get into that, thank you for appreciating every part and every aspect of mexican culture, most of all, thank you for the respect you treat every person you meet, even those rubs to the street dogs. Take care.
you guys are awesome, muchas gracias,we were there last year, and we will be there today,we are just getting ready to go now we know where to go tomorrow for breakfast, I feel so emotional just seeing you how emotional you were when you climbed all the way to the top of the top of the statue of the generalisimo Morelos, love you guys.Iam proudly 100% michoacano.
I remember stumbling across your channel a year back, thinking, "No one is that cheerful!" Not that I'm a curmudgeon. But I imagined Adam with the camera: "Cut, that's a wrap." And Heidi off-camera sucking a cigarette, ssying in a gravelly tone, "Listen, I MADE you, Kojak." But no, you two are always a ray of sunshine, and make me miss Mexico. Thanks for your videos.
Haha 😂 this made me laugh! Oh we have our moments for sure, just like anyone life is not always rainbows and good tacos 🌮 lol but we try to make the best of it all!
Very beautiful scenery. It makes everything look very peaceful ✌️. Great upload! I have been busy with my channel but still love watching what you do! I admit I am homesick for this country! Thanks for the content 🙏! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Heidi. My eyes got watery too. ❤❤😢❤
The emotions came out of nowhere!
