If I don’t win, I’ll be outside this place aging like the steak, drooling on the glass, whispering ‘butter me up, chef’ while questioning all my life choices. Save me from that fate!
You can tell he is young and tries a little «hard» in his introduction of the dishes, but you know what, fuck it, he is 26 so he has a total pass lol. If a 40 year old did the same it would be awkward.
Wow this young chef Timon OOOOOOOOZES passion and knowledge the culinary world is at his finger tips. Such a humble acting guy as well. he didn't come off pretentious at all. he was warm welcoming and seemed like an excellent host.
Such an awesome, fresh video. Love the hosts-very fun, don't take themselves too seriously, don't try too hard to to be funny. And what a splendid man that chef is.
How this video doesn't have millions and millions of views is beyond me, this is the first actually funny video I've seen about a restaurant and a chef, ever. Please let me win the dinner, come on man. I was adopted!
Thank you for the support! Unfortunately, the giveaway for this episode is already over. However, we have a new fine dining episode online on our channel with another huge giveaway. :)
For someone who lived in Belgium for 10 years I've always thought that Belgian Food was underrated. Always preferred Quick to MacDonalds and Wendy's growing up, but would choose my local fritterie over both of them hands down. From all of the famous Belgian dishes such as moules frites, gaufres, carbonade flamande, stoemp, it's a very hearty and filling cuisine. Some of my best memories growing up there in the 80's and 90's is my parents going to the Midi Market Abbetoire wholesale butchers, summer bbq's were the best. That's the thing the quality of produce whether it be meat, dairy or seafood is top notch. Apart from that all of the different migrant communities added another dimension to the mix. Forget about anything else after midnight but a pita gyros and frites after a night on the town in Bruxelles. Another favourite memory is going to Osteend for a seafood meal or anyone of the great restaurants around the Grand Place (yeah they might be a tourist trap but still had some great meals and memories there) Don't get me started on the Belgian Beer, Godverdomme jongens, smakkelijk ja? Last time I visited was in 2006, looks like another visit is long overdue and a visit to Carcasse by Dierendonck is at the top of the bucket list.
Hope you enjoy this format. We loved making it so there will be many more! WINNER will be picked on 29 September. Rastafari EDIT* WINNER WAS YENTE BOOMPUTTE BY VOTE IN OUR INSTAGRAM STORIES. NEXT EPISODE TWO MORE EPIC GIVEAWAYS!

Chef Timon proceeds to explain all cuts and sides dishes of the meat fest into detail. Arno's mind: say something smart and distinguished Arno:(insert Borat accent) High fiveeee!
I love the happy faces when they sat with the expectation of an eight course meal. They never failed to treat the photography team. "We will be back tomorrow" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Never watched one of your videos before but i think im here to stay. I just watch it and can't stop smiling. That bone marrow looks on another level. Just wow, looks like meat cookery at its absolute best. And the passion of the chef. To think he's only a few years older than I am and he's already elite in his field is crazy to me lol. He just clearly loves what he does and boy does it show. Thanks from the uk for showing off such a stunning restsurant!
@HONGERTHEFOODSHOW We definitely have great spots in the UK, they just tend not to sell British food (I wonder why 😂) and they're more expensive than they should be. I've heard good things about the curry goat though and I'm sure you will have a good time.
"When the meat is so good, it makes you gigle more than little girls" (btw I actually live in Knokke so I can go by foot, compensate a little for all the dead cows)
you guys brought such an awesome atmosphere to the video. And the way you brought Timon in with you in the show is so familiar and heart warming. I love that I discovered both this channel and this restaurant ! à bientot.
The food looked Devine! The diners, finger licking, grabbing food with fingers... just wow! You're eating food, so few can afford, respect it. As well as your host and his restaurant. These are, at best, a one-time experience for most. 😅
I’d be honored to meat the chef. His food looks udder-ly amazing. The chef is just a cut above the rest. It seems this joke is a bit overdone, but I’d be extremely flank-ful if you choose me to come and dine at this restaurant Keep the video’s coming guys!
Keep up the good work!!
Completely Awesome! Next time I go to Belgium, I make it a point to eat at this place. Chef made a fantastic meal. The ambiance looks great, and the meat selection and aging is on point. Although meat cutting varies in Europe compared to the states, this looks yummy. Innovative for a steak house!!!
Watching this video made me realize two things: 1) These guys have great taste in steak and 2) My taste buds have never been more jealous. If I don’t win that free dinner, I might just start gnawing on my keyboard and pretending it’s a ribeye! 🔥🥩 Let me save my keyboard and you some cleanup-hook me up with that meal, and I promise not to ask for the recipe... maybe. 😏
As a former Executive Chef of a fine dining Steakhouse in Norcal, my guests are always suprised to see me never put a steak or burger on a grill, but instead a searing hot flat-top. Yes, sometimes I do put it in a smoker to get developed more flavoring, but there's nothing like searing a steak or burger in it's own fat. My friends always asked why my steaks and burgers have so much flavor, cooking on a grill, all that flavoring just dripping down , wasting it, and yes, you can cook it it's own fat, searing in the crust, and finishing it off on a grill too.
Wow, Wow and wow again. What a feast. My favourite is the Tomahawk, I like it put straight into a deep bubbling cauldron of beef fat, it cookes medium rare within about five minutes, it was out of this world. I wish that there was a Restaurant like this in the NW of England!!
Wow.
Watching this video about one of the best meat restaurants in the world was an absolute treat! Said it perfectly…dude may be 26 but he has the vibe of a 40+ man. The sky is the limit for talents like him
