Joe will always be consistently the funny guy but Harry’s arc from being the straight man in this duo to being the subtle comedian now is so charming. When he said “our job is so hard. We are so brave” in the most deadpan way while savoring his fancy steak, and then having the server break character and laughing outloud after calling him potato bae... 😂
According to Harry at some point, he was mainly putting on an act in the early episodes, but later acted more like himself. Also, subtle humour is a British staple anyway
At first I thought he wanted him to cut the whole steak in half, so he'd get his fair share to try too, and not the chunk that was already on his fork :0
probably one of the best food series I've seen. a lot of the other guys/gals i watch have been pretty stale. but this dynamic duo and just the variety of the scenes is amazing! love the work you and the crew is putting in.
You two make this happen. You are entertaining, funny & charming...with a bit of sarcasm. Perfect. These steaks looked incredible. Thank you for doing what you do! Shine on!
Jose Andres is one celebrity chef who's known consistently for his amazing delicious food, but also for his awe inspiring philanthropy/activism. His world kitchen is one of the most practical and gracious and courageous support organizations, feeding people in tragic, catastrophic conditions.
I just want to reference this for people who don't know; in the second steakhouse where they eat Vaca Vieja, traditional meat cattle are sent to slaughter at age 2, which means these cows lived 4-5x longer than traditional cattle do before being processed.
I love how those two, at 2nd location, just like, "what the heck are they doing? Are they serious?" And then, "f**k it, that is phenomenal" "that is delicious" 😂 I really enjoy this episode
Jose Andres is actually known for his impact on feeding everyone with World Kitchen. His organization is almost always first feet on the ground to feed people.
Harry’s outro😂😂😂😂😂. Perfect! They all looked really good. Haven’t tried any of those 3 but did love the rib-eye at Top of Binnions. They also do Bananas Foster table side!
3:29 I'd feel like an absolute princess in that place. The little "how are we doing, all the way you like it?". That guy is Joe's new best friend and I'm not surprised
Shoutout to Harry and Joe looking dapper for the steakhouses. I loved Harry's jacket, strong vibes from Benny from Fallout New Vegas. Ring a ding ding baby!
I love how Joe tries to stop Harold. You know the food is fantastic when he doesn’t want to stop. All of these locations were amazing! Great commentary as usual! 🥩 👏 😋
I like their banter, their unfiltered first reaction to the food, and exclamation to the taste.. making me want to go to those restaurants to try what they tried 🤭
You can definitely get those steaks at a good butcher, especially in Vegas. I live here and Butcher Block carries some high end cuts, including Australian Wagyu.
Bananas Foster was created in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1951 at Vieux Carré Restaurant. Invented by Chef Paul Blangé and Ella Brennan, it was named after Richard Foster (Chairman of the New Orleans Crime Commission) and a friend of restaurant owner Owen Brennan. It's still being currently served at the restaurant Brennan's in NOLA.
I agree with Joe's opening remarks about what he is looking for. Apart from perhaps a little butter, adding sauce should be unnecessary. Seems pretty expensive but I guess that is the venue as much as anything. But then I like my steak medium-well to well. As usual, watching the difference in the use of the cutlery between the two of them is entertaining.
I would like to add some information about wet aging and its role in beef production. Wet aging is the process of vacuum sealing a cut of beef and refrigerating it to allow the microbes within the beef muscles to begin the process of breaking the meat down, which makes it more tender. This process also allows the beef to remain moist - a very notable difference to dry aging where you want the beef to dry out to some extent, which will concentrate the flavour. With dry aging you will lose a substantial portion of the beef muscle the longer it is aged, which does not happen when you utilise wet aging. You will usually find a steak has been wet aged for around three or four weeks, but the microbial load within the beef will remain active for upwards of five to eight weeks so, though rare, you may occasionally find steaks that have been wet aged for longer than four weeks. Wet aging does not give you a "sloppy steak" as Joe eluded, and you may be surprised to learn that worldwide most beef that is available in a supermarket is wet aged for at least three weeks. Beef from a steakhouse can be either wet aged or dry aged, or quite often you will see both aging methods utilised.

Yeah surreal seeing his first videos, dudes ramped up the skills
Harry was very shy and really British at the start. Now he's like a normal person. Almost normal. Vegemite is disgusting.
@@NatepwnsuNo British person can ever be remotely seen as "normal".
@@Natepwnsu vegemite is disgusting. Good thing it’s australian. Marmite however, delicious.

this show is literally keeping food insider in businness
I hope you're right. Views have gone down lately which I hope isn't the sign of the end of the show.
This comment is keeping the food insider comment section in business

Food wars ?
Yeah, but people will have to start clapping for the NHS again after the job they are going to do treating Harry if this keeps up.
I think these episodes are getting better and better. These two are hitting their stride.
Not my favorite, loved the last one tho
Not just Food Insider, but… Insider.
The Service at the first meal was above and beyond. Incredible
You can find service just as good for much cheaper...
server with the bananas foster was an absolute master
Mama Joe really came out this episode: “cut that steak”, “I know you wanna finish this desert, but we have more places to visit tonight”!
Joe really said, "Shall I be Mother?"
At first I thought he wanted him to cut the whole steak in half, so he'd get his fair share to try too, and not the chunk that was already on his fork :0
joe mama
I'm a simple man, I see Harry and Joe and it's an instant watch. Now I want all the steak.
The tableside server was absolutely amazing. Class, touch of humor. Beautifully executed.
Joe and Harry making my Sunday morning a little better! Cheers!❤

Learned more from this comment than I did in the video.
I love watching these 2 because they have amazing chemistry and any restaurant is lucky to have them😁
8:55 Joe: talking about social anxieties cause everyones looking at them in the restaurant.
Also Joe: Appears in nearly Food Insider video.
When they were sharing the banana flambe, the whole restaurant were probably wondering if they were an item?
There’s a bit of a difference between seeing all the eyes looking at you and not seeing the eyes on the internet.
@@robambrose4199 They would've seen the cameras and worked it out
Champagne on arrival is the standard protocol for a lot of restaurants. It’s the safest bet.
why aint this show getting more views??? YALL WE LOVE THIS DONT DISCONTINUE
Apologies, I worked 14 hours yesterday. Waited until just now to enjoy them both. I grew up having a butcher for a mother, love steak.
Great video, would love to see a NYC version of this. I feel like that’s the classic steakhouse city
I agree
Always a "yessss" feeling to see a new video from these guys.
Hi 👋🏻
I love how those two, at 2nd location, just like, "what the heck are they doing? Are they serious?" And then, "f**k it, that is phenomenal" "that is delicious" 😂 I really enjoy this episode
I love this show, and I just love these two gentlemen.
Jose Andres is actually known for his impact on feeding everyone with World Kitchen. His organization is almost always first feet on the ground to feed people.
Facts!
“Potato Bae” made him so happy
That black waiter with the mashed potato really elevated his game. What a cool guy.
Harry’s outro😂😂😂😂😂. Perfect! They all looked really good. Haven’t tried any of those 3 but did love the rib-eye at Top of Binnions. They also do Bananas Foster table side!
We thank you for your sacrifice gentlemen!
They all looked great, but that first rib eye looked perfect.
When Harry says that something is “buttery”, you know it’s going to be good
He's obviously an expert on buttery things.
I used to work at Bazaar Meats by Jose Andres. The food is amazing. So many other dishes that are amazing.
3:29 I'd feel like an absolute princess in that place. The little "how are we doing, all the way you like it?". That guy is Joe's new best friend and I'm not surprised

These two were wasted on fast food comparisons, this is where they really shine. I love these new videos
Man I love this show.! Thx för another great video guys :)
They really raised the steaks when they went to vegas
For sure, especially since these videos are so rare.
Dare I say, the whole video was well-done.
Well, RUclips is the perfect medium for it.
It's good wholesome content. Nothing blue.
I love how Joe tries to stop Harold. You know the food is fantastic when he doesn’t want to stop. All of these locations were amazing! Great commentary as usual! 🥩 👏 😋
I can see Joe’s diary entry for the day they filmed this episode: Best day ever.
Harry, please teach Joe how to use cutlery
that first set of steaks look amazing
These two guys are literally keeping the channel alive. 👏
I always make it a point when I'm in Vegas to visit Golden Steer. Never been disappointed there.
'Potato Bae' was crazyy 😂
19:30 Exactly, we appreciate your sacrifice gentleman 🫡
11:20 will be a meme 😆.
LOVE these two! The London Tour is my favorite, but all are good.
Hi 👋🏻
God, I love you boys. I see your faces. I see business insider. I click instantly.
The golden steer is an old school proper steakhouse. Nice restaurants did a lot of table side cooking
Looks fabulous and I’m a vegetarian 😂
He may have misread the room...but you gave him all the signs. Heck...you even ordered for him and told the waiter how his steak would be cooked lol
I don't eat meat and I still watch and love your videos!! Please don't stop 👍
Barry’s prime has a full vegan menu as well.
Oddly I’ve had some amazing vegan meals at steakhouses!
@@kates7277 same! The best salad I ever had was at a Steakhouse lol
"That's not well done that's congratulations", i, freaking love that that is so funny
Do Los Angeles next! Musso and Frank's, Smoke House, BLVD, Damon's...we've got contenders!
Beyond well done is called "You were my brother Anakin! I loved you..."
The suckling pig at Bazaar is absolutely incredible
These food tours are so adorable❤

They can't stop you from ordering a water with your steak.
I have been waiting for a steak food tour!!
Phenomenal choices for the episode!
American Dad, British Son 😂
Love Harry and Joe. They need their own Netflix show!
7:53 the kid in the back is absolutely fascinated
You can definitely get those steaks at a good butcher, especially in Vegas. I live here and Butcher Block carries some high end cuts, including Australian Wagyu.
Beyond well done is “you should have the chicken” 😂

Golden Steer is also very well known for thier table-side Ceasar salad

I ate at the Meat Bazaar a few months ago. The chicharron and steak were out standing, but the buttered potato puree was the star of the meal
Love the two of you together, always eagerly waiting for your new food experience.
As a Vegas local, I'm disappointed y'all didn't go to The Steakhouse inside Circus Circus.🙁
I just ate, now I am hungry again after watching this juicy video
Insane first bite of steak.

Love the posing at the end there Harry - next top model here you come
Don't even eat steak but I found this fascinating.
Joe… you can do that at home… well seasoned and then sous vide, then high heat sear and you’ll have a steak just as good for less then half the cost
These really made me hungry!
I love Bananas Foster, and it is really easy to make at home. It is a great dessert to make when you have people over for dinner.
Harry and Joe vid? Yes, please.
Love this series! Request for best Fries!
You kids Rocked it again.
I LOVE THIS SHOW
Always choose Ribeye over fillet. Always.
Jose Andres restaurants in DC are easily in my top all time, specifically Oyamel
Wet-aged steaks are aged in vacuum-sealed bags, while dry-aged steaks are exposed to air.
Correct. All steaks are aged. If they're not dry aged, they've been "wet aged".
Comparing top of the line steakhouses was a tough job but you guys persevered and met the challenge.😂
You have to feel sorry for the camera person
They get all the leftovers
Been to Barry's and Golden, Golden is a win every time!!!
Love the way Harry doesn’t give AF when berated by Joe for eating bread. Machine in action 😂
I'll take Potato Bae over Salt Bae any day of the week. No contest.
This is the best show
I love your show, but please, drink some nice red with the steaks!
The best show on youtube!!!!!!!!!
The Golden Steer been posting some 🔥 on their tik tok recently
Joe and harry all the way!
these 2 dont miss
Oh, that gimicky moclecular gastronomy stuff with the foams. Pass. Industrial Lights and Magic Food. Pisses me off.

Love this but a huge part of any steakhouse experience is the sauces & sides. They should also be taken into consideration.
Id love to see you guys do the best steaks in London
Its a missed opportunity Golden seer has the best ceaser salad ever!
and supposedly, they have some dynamite lobster tails.
Legendary series
