Glad to see the crew is exploring different cities now. What I would really like to see is Joe heading back over to the UK to go on a road trip and explore the food found outside of London. Americans may not realise it but London is absolutely a bubble of its own and doesn't represent the rest of the UK at all, it's a run of the mill international city. Rural northern towns, the west country, and the whole run of our coastlines have some exceptional regional cuisines that Londoner's have never even heard of. I'd love to see how Joe handles a steak and kidney pudding.
The US is similar, but due to media and tourism a lot of people think New York/LA, or any major city like Vegas, are representative of the US when they're really not. For example they did "Best Barbecue" but did it in LA which isn't known for that at all. Would of been better to go to Texas, Kansas, Tennessee, or the Carolinas.
What I find remarkable is how good of friends Harry and Joe have become. When they first started, they seemed very much the odd couple. Now they are finishing each other's sentences.
this duo is so special already, at this point please let them do anything they want and budget every trip of theirs also could we get some of the traveling side of their trips too? they are fun to look at doing anything together
Glad I'm not the only one who picked up on that nonsense. If that were true then any muscle that got used a lot would become soft and weak. Which...is the literal opposite of what happens.
what I really love about watching Joe and Harry is that they started as strangers from across the world but they've come together and built such an organic and natural friendship over their love of food.
I did the Wynn lunch buffet for over $50. It's not worth it unless you gorge on Dungeoness crab, which I couldn't even properly do cuz the waiter took forever to get me a pair of claw crackers.
The Rampart Casino dinner buffet is only open from 4pm-8pm, closed Wednesdays, its a 15 mile drive west of the strip hotels and the cost for dinner has gone up a little to $32.99 + tax + tip.
Just checked the website for the supposed $30 spot, and said price requires some kind of specific credit card 🤨 Maybe a membership of sorts to the hotel itself? Regardless I’m pissed lol
Fun Fact......They are called Bangers because in the old days Butchers would add water to the Sausage meat to bulk it out (charge more but put in less). When you cook it the water would get hot and Bang!🇬🇧👍
More interesting fact "old days" means during WW2, when due to being in the front line of U-boat , was in short supply and often bulked out. It's the major reason British food has such a bad reputation with Americans. Thousands of U.S troops came from a country who joined the war late and had no rationing, it's not surprising that after 3 years of war and attacks on shipping British food was based purely on calorie count not taste.
Also why they used to say you have to prick your sausages with a fork before cooking them - to let the steam out. It was needed with the old watery bangers and a lot of older people still do it to this day but you don’t need to do it with ‘modern’ sausages! 😂
As a teenage I lived a two blocks away from a Chinese buffet, I figured out how to stack a plate. Literally could get everything I wanted in the buffet on 1 plate.
They say in the video they could only film in certain buffets. Most told them no. Hence them going to places that don't even make locals' top 10 lists of decent buffets like Palms and Rampart. I wouldn't send people I don't like to Rampart. So, I definitely would not send a YT Channel that has come to film a food video searching for the best buffets in the city I know pretty darn well.

@chriswyatt9869 Kind of depends on the context. I know what 500g of cheese is, or how big is a 3kg leg of lamb, but if someone told me they were 1.75m tall and weighed 95kg I wouldn't have a clue if that's short and fat or tall and skiny.
Yeah, that moment made me pause and go, “Errr…” 😂 If he’d converted it to stones and pounds (13st 10), I feel like it would have been more understandable as well because that’s like, the average weight of a fairly tall guy.
4:51 Harry - never crack the middle of the snow crab leg, much less the flat side. Always crack the ends, the joint/end that’s closer to the body needs to detach along with the cartilage so that when you crack the other end, the whole leg meat comes out. Joe seemed to be experienced since he pulled the whole leg meat out 4:55
As usual, Joe makes an all encompassing statement that is only really true for him. In New England as well as Upstate New York we do eat Fluff. I grew up having Fluffernutter sandwiches and still enjoy them occasionally today.
Really enjoyed this video, great you covered a budget friendly buffet, mid range price, and the most expensive. A part 2 should be done with wynn and wicked spoon.
Fluff I believe is from the Boston area so perhaps an East Coast thing......great for fluffer nutter sandwiches (peanut butter and fluff (toasted bread is a must)), rice crispy treats, fast making fudge and great if you want to make your own rocky road ice cream.
I am from south Carolina and grew up eating fluff. But only after my step dad who is from west Virginia came in the picture. So I think it is more of a north east thing.
