It’s insane to me how many have worked there for 20+ years, that’s how you know they treat their workers well. Socorro looks amazing for 24 years, I was shocked at how youthful she still looks. Great video.
I worked at my first job for 5 years and 1 month before quitting in 2009. Many of my colleagues are still working there today. Sometimes I admire them for their commitment, and sometimes I don't.
@@Eltener123 wow so negative for what? These people are working hard for ungrateful people like you to just get by, clearly they are all happy working there "dead end" jobs 🤡
Multiple 20+ year restaurant employees is how you know you have assembled a great efficient team who enjoys working there. As a restaurant manager of my family restaurant, it’s hard to come by these days.
@@johndang8971 Maybe she loves her job and doesn't want to retire. When people enjoy what they do, its almost like a hobby for them that gives them entertainment.
*hardworking immigrants. I mean this in an endearing manner which given the current rhetoric in the country of anti-immigrants, showcases the amazing contribution they make.
Keeping the restaurant clean and tiny is already an enormous amount of effort, keeping the people there for a long time with dignity and respect takes so much humbleness and energy.
I wasn't going to watch this, reflecting a long held low opinion of Vegas buffets. Apparently a lot has changed in the 20 or so years since I was last there! That food is pretty impressive and much more diverse. And for so many staff to have worked there for two decades or more, is even more impressive. I really REALLY wanna try that buffet!
Been here multiple times, always a great experience. Thank you for highlighting these talented and hard working people dedicated to making our experience wonderful. It's always wonderful to see behind the scenes.
I already loved going to the Bacchanal before this video and now I love it more ! It’s a great thing seeing people working there 10-20 plus years I’m glad they’re taking care of their people , awesome company you don’t see that a lot anymore
🥰🥰♥️🧡💛💚💙🩵💜💖💕phenomenal workers!! Incredible, hardworking, inspirational and amazing super foodie heroes.. every single one!! Huge appreciation, respect and love for every worker, chef, dishwasher, server,.. every glorious person bringing happiness to the buffet. Thank you. 🥰🥰🥰👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I'm sure these guys have bad days and sometimes can't wait for the shift to end, but if you've got families working there, some people for 20+ years, it' can't be a bad job and can't be badly paid.
so interesting to hear their stories and perspectives and sooo much respect for all of them!! i mean look at the amount of hours they spent at the job, exausting for sure!
That moment, when Robert Ortiz sounds like Liam Neeson . . . .I'm gonna make the dessert today, everybody must eat, your time is 3 second before the building is exploded

The rare instance where the positions of chefs/cooks and bartenders switch. Imo bartenders always take the limelight in a restaurant so it’s nice to see something different

Union. Top pay for the position, no cost medical/dental/vision benefits, tons of other benefits and a pension.
One of them was for 45 years
Yup all Caesar’s entertainment cooks are local 227 union, current wage is $27 with full health benefits and pensions ect

Haha for the prices they charge, I would hope so!
The mom working with her two sons made me smile.
I found it incredibly depressing. An entire family stuck in dead end jobs

Thankyou Bon Appetit for showing the real stars of hospitality and food.
Amazing representation of the people we take for granted.
I know you took them granted. I never do. I think of others unlike you
@@1darknickguuurrrr Yes we are all very impressed
@@helloimclaudio I knew you would say that
idk who in this monster of a company realized the opportunity market in just showing the kitchen of restaurants and how it works, but I love you
I wonder if any of the workers in it get a cut of the revenue this video produces
Wow someone at Caesar's for 45 years is kind of incredible! (And she still looks so young!)
when she started, she was working for Caesar himself
It's a shame that she still can't retire

Working harder not smarter. Thank goodness for moron migrants
I enjoyed how personal this felt. I thought it was going to be more of a description of each job by a narrator but this was way better. Thanks BA!

This should be a series
I second this!
they've done a couple videos like this one in other restaurants
I’m pretty sure it is
Can't have food without dishes. I did that for 15+ years, it was hard but worth it.
You keep the show running!
All praise dishpit!
A great dishwasher is the foundation of a great kitchen!
An under appreciated role in the kitchen but it builds character.
I’ve worked in restaurants FOH and BOH for almost 10 years and I still firmly say this dishwasher is the most important role in the building.
Thank you, BA. It was very interesting. Beautiful people. Denise is such a mom 😄
This is one of the most fantastic videos you’ve produced. The amount of colors on it, it’s mind blowing. Colored hands make the food people eats
Thank you Bon Appétit for shining a spotlight on all these wonderful and hardworking people!
I've worked in the restaurant my entire life and I am always amazed at seeing the size of this operation.
Love these types of videos. Makes you appreciate the people behind the food and process even more
What a great piece! They genuinely seem to like their job.
Las Vegas is a city full of hospitable, hard working people. When you visit make sure to tip and treat them with respect!!! :-)
Everyone seems happy with their job lovely to see all those smiles.
Props to all the workers. Mad respect
They look like the marines of the kitchen.. thank you for your service..

Thanks for giving the stewards the time they deserve!! :)
I was thinking that's probably a pricey buffet and I wasn't far wrong. 50 to 100 dollars per person. Woof! I'd still do it though. 😀
Awesome highlighting hardworking & dedicated folks ❤🎉
My fav buffet in Vegas. I love this profile of the staff.
I have so much respect for these people :)
My favorite buffet. Food is absolutely delicious I constantly crave it and always make sure I go at least twice whenever I’m in Vegas
There’s one bar tender for a place that does 1200+ covers a night? Those people must move! Even if people aren’t drinking that hard that is insane.
only one over 1200 covers no sence
Every time after watching this channel I end up trying a new dish❤❤
Love this, thanks for shining a spotlight on every one of these lovely folks.
