This will sound strange, but I’m from the south so bear with me lol. When I moved to NYC, the first thing I noticed was how crispy the bacon is EVERYWHERE. And I mean that in the best possible way, like the bacon on these burgers looked so good. I’m not used to that, because for over 30 years, I’ve grown used to never getting decent bacon when I went out to eat. Didn’t matter if it was on a burger, on a breakfast platter, a bacon biscuit, etc. Restaurants just don’t know how to make bacon properly through a lot of the US for some reason. But in NYC, everywhere I’ve had it was perfect, and I didn’t even have to ask. In the south, you have to BEG them for crispy bacon, and it will still come out half done most of the time.

You can get battered chips in the Uk. In the West Midlands I think they're sold in fish and chip shops as 'orange chips '.
Cheese curds though I would really like to find in the UK. Never tried them but I think I'd love them

You can find curd cheese easy in the UK if you look in the Polish supermarket sections or Polish shops. Twarog is a common brand

@@wildwine6400 what is the texture of twarog? The cheese curds I'm thinking of like the ones in the video are the kind that are a bit squeaky and firm textured. Some curd cheeses are soft cheese, closer to cream cheese or cottage cheese (e.g. the cheese used for Yorkshire curd tarts).

@@orientalmoons the ones i saw are triangle wedges of cheese thats like a pressed cottage cheese I suppose. Its cheap. Its only about £1.20 for a wedge

Really think the UK burger scene is better than NY after watching this, which isnt something i'd ever thought I'd say, although I go to the west coast regularly and they have some amazing burgers there

Hot take … I’ve watched both the London Burgers and the New York burgers and I gotta say… I think the UK burgers looked better
