Since I had posted that comment, my musical taste actually expanded a lot, and now I find myself liking Killswitch Engage, Architects and other great and original metalcore band much more than most metal bands of the 80s and 90s. But Metallica, Faith no more, Type O Negative, Machine Head and mid-90s Pantera still rule, when it comes to metal mixed with punk.

THIs is from Blossom Music Center, the first concert I ever went too! Pantera and White Zombie the war of the gargantuans tour, i was like 13. It was awesome, I wish they had the whole show, but they only have this love and walk. But obviously if they did professionally film this show it's got to be there somewhere. There was a lot of fucking energy that night. Then I met them 4 years later and got my dime3 signed by the band. Dimebag even played my guitar. Best day of my life probably.

@@kr1stphr death metal is heavy to a point....it's so relentlessly heavy that nothing stands out. If heaviness isn't side by side with something softer then it doesn't hit the same. That's why these Pantera riffs feel heavier. Suffocation are pretty damn heavy alright. Must listen to them again.

THIs is from Blossom Music Center, the first concert I ever went too! Pantera and White Zombie the war of the gargantuans tour, i was like 13. It was awesome, I wish they had the whole show, but they only have this love and walk. But obviously if they did professionally film this show it's got to be there somewhere. There was a lot of fucking energy that night. Then I met them 4 years later and got my dime3 signed by the band. Dimebag even played my guitar. Best day of my life probably.
