Something about that intro with the crowd cheering is so beautiful. It's reminds me of protagonists finally achieving their big goal in a movie. I can imagine how they felt in that stage seeing so many fans, knowing that they made it big. And holy shit, the heavy part of this song. The lighting makes it 10x better. I miss Jason with these guys. That harmony between him and James is great. These were Metallica's better days so to speak. Of course the early days with Cliff were even better.
I disagree, Cliff was amazing and a major part of Metallica’s growth as musicians. By Mr Newstead was hands down the best man to fill the position of bassist. Sadly he’s admitted himself he cannot play this kind of music on a bass anymore due to arthritis.

Micheal Jackson & Madonna controlled the pop world. Then about 2yrs later Nirvanas smells like teen spirit & Nevermind album changed everything , like overnight. The direction of music & the 90s , even the fkn sitcoms changed .
I'm new to discovering metal music and god damn, I have watched this like 5 or 6 times. It's still just as good as the previous listen. I'd give anything to have been alive during the 80's and 90's. This looks so killer to have witnessed in person.

I’ve been listening to them since they arrived on the scene. Their music is like listening to a symphony, classical music, Beethoven. I know every word, the guitar sounds, the drums. It’s imbedded in my brain. If I was in a coma, they played this in my hospital bedroom… I’d wake up

I miss Jason with these guys. That harmony between him and James is great. These were Metallica's better days so to speak. Of course the early days with Cliff were even better.

By Mr Newstead was hands down the best man to fill the position of bassist. Sadly he’s admitted himself he cannot play this kind of music on a bass anymore due to arthritis.
