Should have filled the bee nests in the ceiling, then you'd have honey dripping through your whole tunnel, would be really cool.

Don't worry, you'll get back into it. Always will. I thought I wouldn't ever play it again, and when I finally launched the game again I remembered how fun it was. Starting a new project always gets my interest.
I played it for 4 years or so and then just stopped. Both just on a laptop and mostly Minecraft. Then I just left it. The next year or so I felt like I was a avoid the laptop when possible and still kind of feel like a couple years later.
Take a break, take time. It happens. Don’t feel you need to return to it.
Had this on in the background while I was doing work and heard "weed farm" and had to drop what I was doing just to check ilmango wasn't making graduating to IRL farms lol

If you want to work with bees, you could use the minihud feature, that displays how many bees are in a hive when you look at it
I use that, it’s really useful
how do u turn that on?
@@pinipilla I believe that it's a mod that needs to be downloaded and installed. It's not a standard feature, sadly.
@@pinipilla you need to download fabric api, then download miniHud and drag it into your mods folder in your minecraft folder

small tip : MiniHud has an option to show the number of bees in a hive by just looking at them so you don't have to break them

You could probably save on lag on this farm and replace the hoppers below with rails and hopper mine carts only a few though and time them to follow the four directional flying machine.
Imagine them sweeping back and forth underneath on 3 rails lined up with the line the flying machine is on and once it tracks to a new row the minecarts adjust and move down one as well.
Mango continuing to automate the bee process was hilarious
I made a large 400x400 wheat farm like this on an extra hard survival pvp server a few years ago. Could not afford the hoppers so we just used a water collection at the end and had a simple macro that went through the field harvesting and planting at the same time by holding down both mouse buttons. Actually quicker than doing it with hoppers or water harvest.

You could do that but also have TONS of villager farmers in to make it 100% afkable. You fill each villagers inventory up with seeds.
Also, you can use bees to speed up the growth process
They would lag, you'd have to build beds for them; you also need their work job.. and might decide not to..
This is guaranteed harvest and already 100% afkable.. just with holding right mouse (which is easy..)

21:55 To prevent the blocks going up the water, maybe place hopper minecarts below the blocks so they don't even have the time to go up the water in the first place, they get sucked immidiately in the hopper minecarts
Challenge: Use the shulker breeding mechanic in 1.17, the afk wood(Crimson/Warped stem) farm, a autocrafter, an automatic shulker box filler, and farm(s) of your choice to automatically make shulker boxes that fill up with the item of your choice.

I just got the idea that you could add a autocrafting circuit to the furnace array at at the sand duper. Either selecting by page on a lectern, or by just throwing dyes into a chest. Shouldn't be too complicated and since I see you using colored glass all the time, it would fit great.
Super video ! too make sure you don't lose bee nest or bee hive in water flows you can put a trapdoor in front of flowers and travel in on 1 by 1 tunnel scale and take manualy the lost

Seems like a good wheat farm, I might build a smaller version in my singleplayer world.
Im pretty sure you guys play with minihud and there is an info overlay you can toggle on which will tell you how many bees are in a nest/hive just while looking at it so you don't have to break the blocks to find out. Might be helpful.
The bee nest on the roof of the tunnel are a bit much. Maybe they could be altered every other block with similar wood like a striped log etc.

the icing on the cake would be if the bee nests (or some of them) were filled with honey aswell so some honey is dripping down from the ceiling

If you just wanna get rid of the bees you could place every hive down and attack one then the bees die on there own, because they can only attack one Time.
For all the work you might as well break the farm land with looting 3 so you get more.

if you can, then you can build like a "feed tape" of nests going through the different stages (sideways), and then if it's possible to break the hives in some way? Or store them in a big 12x12 block of hives?

German science truly is the worlds greatest.
In the top bee room couldn’t you have all the hives facing away from the room and into water. That way the honey level would increase because they’re leaving the hive but also you could drown them or use soul sand to bring them into another room to keep them.

Just curious, won’t that amount of hopper make the game extremely slow? Or is it just not big enough to do things like that?
