Works for me! I do use 2 accounts as someone mentioned multiplayer breaks it, I dont think thats true but I think it makes it faster for some reason. My only question is is there any way to add more layers to the farm laz1en?

Doesn't seem to work for me. Also made it block for block and its in the right biome. I actually saw some spawn in and run into the portal but they were not in the pit when i went to check. Pretty sure this is busted and doesn't work.
Edit: Nevermind the above statement, I did manage to get it working. Huge disclaimer, multiplayer breaks this. Only way to make sure it consistantly works is to either be the only person on at the time OR have 2 people use the farm. 1 person sitting at the afk spot in the nether and another chilling where the gathering spot is in the overworld.

@@evan.picture A chunk loader is a surprisingly simple Redstone design that loads chunks without the needing of players by using portals to transport an item to the overworld and to the nether.
And yes, you can definitely use an extra player to afk on the overworld since players are the more reliable and better option here.

What a clever farm!!
to make any gold farm for java edition you have to get 8262628 stacks of magma and 8277 hoppers and a lot of these things
and you can't get xp from it
but your farm is soooo easy and you can get xp from it
ianxo four's design is better i think. He basically did this but he added a portal thing where the piglins go in the overworld then back into the nether but this time in a killing chamber. That way you can continuously get xp unlike this design where u need to go back and forth from the afk spot to the killing chamber
The farm works if you go through the same portal that the zombie piglins walk through.... but it also doesn't work if you decide to AFK in the overworld. So what I've been doing is going back through the nether portal to where the farm is located on the roof and going up the scaffolding to my AFK spot. 20 mins = about 2 stacks of Gold which isn't too bad since it doesn't take much to set up this farm.

If you guys having problem that normal piglin not attract to egg anymore,
instead of netherack block change too magma block,
only the zombie piglin will spawn and they still attract to egg

If you have another player in world something with chunks messes up. It happens with this farm and my creeper farm too

I know im late but the problem with the one i just did (which is your one) the pigman don't stay spawned in the chamber
Why you don't have golden sword in your chest ?
AFK'ed for 15 mins the first time and got around 24 gold ingots.
Surprisingly, I also got 24 gold ingots the second time I AFK'ed, which was around 40 mins.
Only got 3 levels killing the piglins left in the chamber.
make ianxofours version, it is better because you get to afk the entire time and not go back and forth from the afk spot to the killing chamber. Ianxofours channel has the best farms in the game. It being cheap and sometimes better than those that require a lot of materials

When i build this farm, go through the portal (not the one in the farm) and run back to the killing zone, all the pigmans are despawned

Still I have a question since I'm new. Why is it important to climb up to the top of the scaffolds? I've seen it in some farms but I'm not aware of why is this necessary. Thank you so much beforehand!
hey thanks man! The reason we go around 128 blocks up is because mobs can only spawn within a 128 block radius from the player, meaning we go up high enough to make it so that the only place mobs can spawn is within the farm

@@jassharma5k948 No, you won't have to do that. The mob despawn sphere is 128 blocks around you, and nothing can spawn outside that sphere. On top of that, every mob outside of that sphere also despawns.

Okay, I swapped my flooring to magma blocks so I would only get piglin instead of the hogs that chase me and try to kill me when I come down. What exactly do the leaves do?

Literal definition - Away from keyboard. It means the farm works without you being present or actually there , you can leave your pc on and not attend to it.

Is it possible to build this gold farm on the nether roof of a soul sand valley biome or only nether waste biome?
only nether wastes! This farm takes advantage of the fact zombie pigmen spawn in nether waste biomes, and in any other biome they wouldn't spawn on the platform

if you put campfires where the slabs are can u make it so it only drops the items instead of having to kill them manually? i dont really need the xp, i more need the gold and rotten flesh
you can just make the dropping hole deeper by 1 block so they die from fall damage

There are channels like 1UpMC, JCPlayz, OinkOink, ProfePlaysPablo and many others that do bedrock tutorials that are great
I don't know but i think is possible because the mobs in bedrock wants to destroy the turtle's egg.
I think,you have to do this farm in creative Word for First et After you can do It in your survival Word.

yes u can pillar up with sand and ladders the purpose is to stop mobs from spawning below the bedrock so that it prioritizes the farm.
update : this farm does not work in java 1.21 edition

For those who want to make this an afk farm :- just increase the height between the portal in the overworldand the slabs of collection system by 2-3 blocks the zombie piglins will die of fall damage and their loot will get collected in the chest.

Not as great for XP as you need to go back and forth between the nether and the overworld to get piglins spawning in that you can kill..
It's a gold farm not a exp farm.... there are similar farms that can do both... but his is simple and small...

Turtle egg's only hatch when placed on a sand or red sand block. They will not progress toward hatching when placed on any other block.
