- In order to make it possible for more members to get the ender dragon advancement we use some trickery to get another dragon. In order to make the fight simpler we keep the ender dragon in place. This is a trick that Process found.

@@MrFlubber you can find them in bastions but they only spawn when the bastion is generated but you can breed them.

The platform they were all standing on looked like it was one block too wide and too long when Mango finished building it (@6:58, check the pink end stone) Now, the dragon SHOULD be able to pass through this without issue, however, I'm wondering if either those blocks, or the obsidian block, was catching any of the dragons breath, causing the dragon to damage itself, and it couldn't fly away because of the glitch keeping it there

Instead they trapped and killed a mother just trying to protect their offspring
it didnt deal a single point of damage to any of them :/
@@octosaurinvasion I mean, it does still deal knockback, and someone did die from hitting a wall with an elytra, so its possible the dragon may have done indirect damage
@@destructivforce2894 I just tested and i couldn't get the dragon to deal any knockback, however, the dragon's breath cloud does (because it's a potion effect and not a direct attack)

It might just be the Thorns, as many of them had it and they were standing close enough to get hurt, but of course it's peaceful so no harm :D

Ender dragon XP farm was shown by Panda years ago and it was one of those concepts that showed where the limits are. Glad it is returning to some degree
In b1.9-pre4 you could put the ender dragon in a boat (you could also get bedrock but that's not important)
you can theoretically get bedrock up till 1.14.4, but its only been done up till 1.12.2. i know the method your talking about for 1.9, and its never been executed in survival and proven possible
@@JaxonJJB I just got bedrock by placing end resuming the dragon but putting an end crystal deleting one of the bedrock on the pillar in the middle of the fountain

Given the fact the Dragon is made of multiple entities (9 if I remember correctly), could It be that she was taking damage because those entities were colliding with the water?
I haven't tested this since 1.12, but (at least in that version) the dragon just destroyes any water it touches.

I noticed that holding items with the cursor while closing the inventory doesn't drop those items anymore. They go back into the inventory. Maybe that's related to them disappearing on a server shutdown?

And he did it when using free cam to find the stronghold because he would’ve won a statue built of him if he won and he was about three blocks off
looks like the dragon is drowning. If it was suffocating, it should take damage every tick, without any pauses in between.

My theory on the dragon dying is that is was drowning from the water on the sides. Honestly if its's not that then I have no clue what it could possibly be.

maybe the dragon was drowning? The speed in which the dragon was taking would suggest that I think.
I know this doesn't pertain to the peaceful challenge, but how do you feel about the concept of a saddle farm. As of 1.16, saddles are renewable through strider spawns, having a 1/30 chance to have a zombified piglin on top of it along with a saddle which it will drop upon death. I understand ravagers drop one upon death and are probably a more viable source, but they are also not afk-able to my knowledge. Also striders are a viable source of string, for say a nether only challenge. But if for no practical reason, I really am curious about the mechanisms required for strider spawning and moving.
Kind of looks like the dragon is suffocating on the obsidian block as it tries to push itself through to perch on top of the obsidian block 🤔

@@DeJay7 i was under the impression that the dragon saw the top block of the perch as a solid block. Finally got around to testing it, guess not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Where can I find a video about the dragon trap that they built?
Not many creatures from the end enjoy the feel of water, I could be wrong but maybe the biggest mob from the end is also mildly allergic to it too?
I know a bunch of people have been saying it can't drown because it destroys water, but it's clearly not in the video. I assume this is because it can't destroy flowing water?
That's what I am thinking. Enderman gets damaged from water. And she's the boss. I hope in next episode they'll give us a answer.

Tbh I don't see a reason for them to have patched this. By the time an exploit requires breaking bedrock/portal blocks to pull off, its not going to cause problems for anyone who isn't deliberately trying to resummon it
I think it’s just because they already have a dragon summoning method in the game that works perfectly fine… just, not in peaceful. They don’t see the point of leaving an exploit like that in the game (even though you’re right, it doesn’t cause much harm)

can you push the pillar end crystals onto the respawning point for the dragon?
nope
I think Ilmango mentioned this. If I remember correctly, it is possible to push them there, but the crystals need to be placed on the frame by a player for the dragon to respawn.

The dragon can't suffocate in blocks, so my guess is that she was drowning.
I don't think axolotl despawn is actually fixed. I know they said it is, but my SSP disagrees
Can't end portal simply be removed by placing water inside the same block? I don't think that was ever fixed.

Not sure if the hunger effect would actually deplete hunger in peaceful, but that's moot because he couldn't eat the stew in the first place.
Does the end crystals have to be placed by a player to respawn the dragon or could you push the initial end crystals into place using pistons?
The check only happens when a player places a crystal
They actually checked this early on, apparently they HAVE to be player-placed. Piston pushed crystals from on top of the obsidian towers didn't work

I still don't get why we can't combine a crossbow with a spyglass, it would be a great feature but they still haven't done it.
It would be cool, but how would the control scheme work? Because right click activates spyglass, but right click is also shoot.
