1:50 wow this is a game changer. I usually wait until i scan my carts and scroll down to see overflow order but just realized you can see the order while you wait in line!!!!
I just did my ride alongs no lie watching your videos and another person it made my ride alongs so much smoother and they got surprised I new how to sort and how to read what’s next I recommend people to watch videos before the ride alongs so u can know what ur getting into
Stack bags 3 high in the cargo van when you have 20+ I had 392 packages 62 oversized in the step van on Sunday didn’t have time to organize at the station had to pull over take ‘em all out and re-load but it was worth it
Damn that’s crazy Amazon trying to work us to death! Couldn’t even organize the way you did in this video because the route was so weird it was like 1B 2D 1C 2E 1D 2A didn’t follow a pattern at all . How many locations did you have? Mine was 275 locations 200 stops
Bro I've been struggling with this!! Man I go back Wednesday and I'm definitely going to use your videos as a go to!! Thank Professor Jo!! Much appreciated!!
I will try out your method tomorrow! It will be my 3rd solo route. Last time i was just shoving it all in my van so i can leave on time. I'm mainly stressed that I don't have the arm muscles to lift.
For me, it would take a little more time for me to organize and sometimes the driver aid number are not always 3 digit numbers. sometimes its letters and then I wouldnt know which of the overflow comes first or second if i have multiple overflows with letters. . So I just make sure all the characters that I used are at the same place.
I got 3 year of fulfillment center far as overflow experience... non con long box...... vs small box and small packages.... my questions since i know how to identify.... how would i use my knowledge in doings dsp..... transitions from Warehouse assiocate to dsp assiocate.
Soaking in the tips from this video. How do you organize overflow in a van when you have 20+ totes? I just started getting 180+ stops (~400 packages, ~20 or more overflow) and have had no time when loading or space to organize overflow effectively . Recently, I’ve been getting sidelined every time I come in for a shift.
Yea you will get sideline if you are not doing well buut thats not always the reason. If you have a regular size van, that load/route might be too much. You can always pack your bags first and then if you dont have enough space for overflow, they should assign it to the driver thats sideline.
its cruel having all those package in a small van because when you start to deliver you will have difficulty moving around.. the top shelf behind the driver can go to level high. So what i would do is put my first 6/7 bags aside and then the other 6/7 on the shelf. Then i would put my first set of stops on top of those. so thats 12/14 bags on the top of the shelf. the bottom shelf shoul hold 6 and then two bags under the shelf at the door.. your first set of overflows will go on the top shelf at the door and the rest behind. should be able to pack 20 if they are relatively medium size boxes. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching
Just go in order by driver aide number.. it should be close to in order if you do your route in order. I check my map where I want to start before I put it the way I start.

Its call non con box....right long , big box
Out of curiosity why not organize it by drivers aid number?
For me, it would take a little more time for me to organize and sometimes the driver aid number are not always 3 digit numbers. sometimes its letters and then I wouldnt know which of the overflow comes first or second if i have multiple overflows with letters. . That's too much for me to understand brother lol I just put the overflow inside the van and the ticket somewhere where I can see it
Just try it. would mke your delivery smoother
We get pick sheets to help with that. They should be giving you that in paper form so you don’t have to write it down
unfortunately they dont

How do u do all that in 20 minutes? I barely have enough time to get everything inside the van
Just gotta understand how to load and then be efficient
I hate 390 plus in the Ford transit rental it's like a personal hell to be trapped in all day
Just go in order by driver aide number.. it should be close to in order if you do your route in order. I check my map where I want to start before I put it the way I start.
ok not bad
What if you gotta do business and you gotta skip the order
Who’s your buddy at the end? Lol he still work there?
Lol not my buddy but an employer at the same warehouse. I saw him the other day so I assume so
The more you focus on the negative at any job, the harder it is to keep working there.
They should make it easier for you
Maaan all these numbers are confusing tf outta me bro. It’s my 2nd day and they just throwing me out bruh. Im nervous
Take your time man. It will be alright
@@DrivewithJo - but like the nursery route I got had 130 stops and like 180 packages or some like that , and they expect me to do more ?????
Don’t understand 1:50 at all
Can u explain a bit more
