Man, that thing is coming along. Every time you pan over to the '60 I get excited. I got a 60 Catalina waiting to have its rebuilt 389 installed. I'm chomping at the bit to drive it
Would have loved to see his face when he saw it! Love your enthusiasm! Great job on a great looking car. Those stacked headlights on the Pontiacs were so cool!
Bet he didn't get permission to touch the car before he pulled it out and worked on it. You see several cars on other sites were people just set their loved ones cars aside as a memento. Bet the brother was not happy when he returned.
@@ChiefClassics besides a garage full of engines and all kinds of other Panchos parts 65 Catalina 66, Grand Prix 67, 68,69 Bonnieville’s 68 Lemans, 68GTO in the newest is a 79 Trans Am and I got an oddball 1970 Javelin Way too many cars but I love messing with them
@@SteveJohnson-l3v sounds a lot like our place! We have lots of 59-67 Pontiacs of all models, plus a 75 Grand Am, some Trans Ams, a Camaro, and a couple other Chevys, Fords, and Mopars!
Man that really sucks if the kid graduated in 84 then that means he was only 23-24yrs old when he passed but he definately had to been one cool ass kid to have a sweet hotrod like this I absolutely love it...
Thank ya much! It gets a reaction out of people in town because it's so well remembered. One of his good friends was in tears when she saw it after all this time
The owner confirmed it's a Lemans. Had the tail panel swapped out. The only "Lemans" pieces it still has is the quarter panel scallops and the Pontiac script on the header panel. It's a pretty darn good clone!
The perfect wheel and tire combination. Whoever doesn't like cragar Wheels and white lettered tires isn't a car guy
That's A NOBLE PROJECT FOR A BUDDY! WE ALL SALUTE YOU SIR!!
Thank you much!!

He loved it and it was great to hear stories of him and his brother working on it
Your a good friend that understands what it’s like to lose someone not to many people would do what you did
I appreciate it! It made me happy to see him excited about the car again

Really enjoy your videos, keep it up!
TY once again.
Awesome car, ty for sharing. Would have nice to see Mark's face when he sees it.
You’re really good on these Pontiac’s and that’s a solid for your friend. You seem to get em running pretty easy. Thanks for sharing your work.
💯👊👍

Appreciate it Todd!!
Would you be interested in any 64 Bonneville convertible parts?
Them old school muscle cars was like a good woman nose down rear end up
Interesting my 67 Le Mans has disc front drum rear.
It's definitely a GTO I had a 67 Pontiac Tempest and the lights are solid in the back not slotted

Do you still have the Grand Prix for sale
Weird someone would clone a lemans into a gto in the 80s . Didn’t think that got popular until the last 20 years . Even changed the tail pan .
Checck brakes after removing rust. 0:04
Figure out what the vin says and go from there. See if it’s numbers matching which I doubt.
