That galvanized iron plumbing tee in the exhaust is hilarious! 🤣. I’ve seen a lot of odd stuff over my 68 years but that is a first!
I think it a neat period piece, modded custom corvettes were everywhere when i was growing up in the 1960s...it would make a good power tour car...
I hope they leave it like that and leave a period modded survivor out there. Fix it up s little but keep the vibe.
That's a fair price. We have plenty of $130k Mecum specials...
When the frame is rusted like that. Run away as fast as you can. That is the worst problem you can have with a C2 or C3 Corvette. If a Corvette is completely restored in every other way but the frame is rusted like that, Don't buy it.
I have been restoring a rusty Pantera for about a year. Wish I saw this first!
this would be prefect to throw a BBC in with the rare 1st gen alloy L88 heads, the really rough casting ones. 4 years too old, but whos counting! Although frankly, a solid cammed tunnel rammed 327 revving to the moon would be very appropriate!
When I saw you put those side pipes on with no heat shields I wondered how long it would take one of you to get a leg burn. Those are some serious leg burners!

The title might say 1963, but it has 1965-1966 side vents. No big deal for a daily driver though.

Good luck with them. Bid on those 6 cars and parts. You definitely paid a premium for the condition and work. Some good money in the parts but a ton of work and time.

At least she don't have a Qjet4bbl. 350 to add more controversy. This one could have a manual choke, and not get the hate from having a Qjet.
The 327 from that year was the sought after small journal that RPM'd with 340s. And great piston speed ratio.
That is a vary fair starting price compared to what my friend paid for his convertible.
i dig it sounds like a long dur cam probly 240-250 at 50 yea its a bit ruff but very cool

Out of curiosity, what's up with the '65-'66 front vents? Was the clip replaced or was this another "improvement" by the previous owner(s)?

It was most likely in an accident and the front clip was replaced. The big problem is that the frame is rusted badly.
Those also aren't '63 gauges either.

I’ve done 1 video of it a few months ago. It’s getting a procharged LT4, 6 speed manual, Detroit speed 4 link, just a project that I work on when I get extra time.

It’s on eBay right now. Someone better hurry up and buy it before I change my mind! I’ve been driving it around and I like it! One of the best running cars we have right now lol.

@@HorsepowerDepot no disrespect meant. But that car needs that chassis repair first and foremost. Then the electric and brake and suspension gone thru. Runs great and that’s a nice start. I like your channel and glad you are honest and pointing out the problems here.

You haven’t priced mid year corvettes in a while. It’s not 1974 anymore. Find a cheaper running and driving 63-67 corvette for sale.
@robertdemers8508 I can tell from your comment that you don't have a clue about what these cars sell for. If you don't like it, then move on. It costs a ton of money to get a car like this and then fix it enough to be a daily driver.
