I'm a day late. I had to do some preventative maintenance on my Silverado so it keeps going strong. A filter change and some undercoating on the frame and it's good to go. Gotta be on top of it. Ohio loves to cover the roads in salt in the winter. It's starting winter number 8 and not a spot of rust.
@AnnatarTheMaia during the winter I pay for a monthly pass at a car wash. So if it snows I make sure to get it into a car wash ASAP so it doesn't sit worth salt on it. Plus I make sure to get a couple coats of wax on it each year. I don't want to be the guy with a truck that looks like it's about to fold in half between the cab and bed.
In my opinion, polyurethane bushings suck, the rubber bushings don't flex enough to make a significant difference, and they tend to squeak. I have removed all the polyurethane bushings from my '67 Corvette and my 02 GMC Sonoma. I won’t use them again in any of my future restorations. If you're restoring your interior, I also recommend using sound-deadening material. I applied it everywhere: on the firewall, the doors, and of course, the floorboards. You won’t be disappointed when you're cruising to the next car show!
@@bmstylee More like I literally Googled it and looked at the current market. For what he's doing to that car that's about what it cost. Market prices don't necessarily follow inflation
Great way to start a Saturday
Yep, one of the best ways to start a Saturday.

@@bmstylee eight Winters in Ohio and not a spot of rust, now that's impressive.

@@bmstylee you're pretty clever. That's refreshing in this day and age.
"Poor man's goat " but hey I'd be proud to own one.

Really enjoyed watching this all over again. 😀

I never used floor insulation in my cars, I liked to hear and feel my hot engines.
You know how long I’ve been waiting for this?
2005. What a time!
Wish these prices were today’s prices at first I thought this was filmed in the late 90’s until he started surfing the web
Damn just now realizing that’s a young ass Tommy Boshers long hair and all. He is one of my faves of the power nation crew.
He was the long lost Hanson brother 😂
Phased out Lou by the last episode
Real Car Guys !!
Love 💕 it !!
$2,600 in 1967 is equal to about $24,500 today.
Year one is great
36:00 hard to believe that's a wee Tommy B
Did I miss the final dyno numbers????
I didn't recognize Tommy with that long hair of his! Lol.
He forgot the more sentimental value the more you will do or put up with.
I just noticed this is an MTV production.
I read your comment as the end credits popped up and showed that.
Awww, they didn’t have my favorite part. When Lou asked, do you see anything missing? Cmon Boo Boo get it together; louvers, the LeMans had louvers!
Way to cover the paint in rubber, d a !
2007 price $16.5k, 2024 price $42 grand
Exaggerate much? With inflation that $25k.

Save it so someone else can change it into a GTO would be my thought! Please don't put the vinyl top back on!
Better than MTOD
Poly bushing won't last forever and wear out twice as fast and make for a noisy ride!
I'd love to have my dream car. Unfortunately Fox bodies and 80s.T-birds are getting pricey. Even a bucket isn't exactly cheap.

LOL.
To much talk to little action but nice project 👍
Nice car. Do away with the burnouts.
Quaker state oil 😭
🤔👍👍👍👍👍👍
That is one ugly car
naw that car is sweet
At least they didn't put the vinyl top back on
I thought they were ugly until I got a modern pony car... then something changed.
