if I wasn't 14 and didn't live across the country, I would have been here
This was recorded in april of 2006. Poster isn't from America so the month and day designation are reversed compared to how we write it in america. So this is literally probably the first known live performance of these songs. Before the album was out. Pretty special. Someone should download this so it doesn't become lost forever one day.
I don't know about the others but I'm pretty sure he performed Stop This Train at Eddies Attic in December of 2005
@@logananthony9111 Yea he did. He did Stop this Train, gravity, the hurt, and in your atmosphere during that set.
@@JordansTake35 yep great memory!
Loving the low key vibe at this show! The recording is so clear and crisp. John is funny, the audience is great. There is a freshness or innocence in this performance. Love it. 💜
This version of Stop This Train is so clean!
This needs way more views
I was at this show and it was fantastic... just John and Pino. I had a nice conversation with him later... great guy!
you lying!
@@mateoscarafia5110 ??? Yes, I was there... it was an "After Hours" show... I was about to leave and Marko stopped me and said - "Don't leave... a little surprise"
@@BigMountainLLC so lucky!! :'|
Lucky you! Do you remember what the conversation was about? I would love to one day meet this amazing man and have a conversation with him 💜
@@user-grpa1 He told me that he was going to release "Waiting for the World to Change" first. I remarked that in the line "... one day this generation is going to rule the population." I told him, "Yeah, that's what we used to say." He looked a little perplexed, but dealt with it.
여긴 존팬들 숨은 극락이야... 이 버전 진짜 다 너무 좋아... 나만 알고시퍼
This is priceless historical documentation. I seriously doubt there is another solo electric performance of Continuum let alone a month after it’s release! Really cool stuff here. Now I will push my glasses up in between my nose.
5 months before
15:08 "This sounds a lot like John Mayer" oh man, we've got a jokester in the crowd
😂😂I didn't catch that
this could very possibly be my favorite live set by any artist ever
What an amazing show! Made me happy and emotional and heartbroken and hopeful. Love, love, love JM! ♥
Amazing. You can clearly see how the songs evolve to the album version. So raw yet still sounds so complete by itself.
I Don't Trust Myself (With Loving You) is tight as hell
that song is always so intimate whatever the version it is
Wow
2020 !
vultures solo is amazing. especially the part starting at 20:22
I think it came out in September 2006 so must be a month after the release. Especially considering the songs are a facsimile of how he plays them on the record.
Freaken right you are, I didn’t think to read it that way this time!
This was recorded back in April, 2006. Before the album was released. I was there
@@MattDiMarinoMusic i always thought americans used mm/dd/yyyy…
@@fernank017 yes, apparently the poster is not from America
anyone else accidentally download this off limewire
No belief on the setlist?
No BELIEF and also no BOLD AS LOVE.
Thanks for letting me know! @@user-grpa1
Also, GOOD LOVE IS ON THE WAY is in this set but not on the album.
