5:11 I feel like he tried doing something different bc he looked down at the guitar to see where he was , and then completely saved that lick , John is just amazing
he didn't save the lick, that was what he wanted to play, makes completely sense to the ear
@@aspectpt9765 even if it doesn’t sound good it doesn’t mean he meant to do that, John is an incredible guitar player , and he still makes mistakes on stage ,but the fact that he’s professional enough on what he does to fix a lick however and whenever he wants to clearly shows how good he is. I’ve listened to John Mayer a lot and I’ve seen probably 98% of live concerts in RUclips ,And he’s also talked about these things live on Instagram. And I think if you’re a Mayer fan you know his face expression and what he does when he makes mistakes and if you’re a guitarist you know that you look down at the guitar when you wanna know where you are, and it’s normal
