I've done this twice now, both times it was to change the splitter to the srt style which looks great! The whole front is plastic, if you enjoyed playing with Lego as a kid, this is a snap! Great job!
Don't know about understandable. I had two come in the shop last week built one Friday and, going to go build the other today there a pain .was looking on you tube to find short cuts, but there really are none. Good luck on your channel
Stops are used only in the corners, but there are snaps all around the top and bottom, also on top there are plastic rivets that connect the amplifier, bumper and hood seal
Dude I was struggling to install a lip on my challenger bc the grille wouldn’t set in place but I didn’t know you can remove the it for easier installation I think you just saved me some cash🙏🏼😭
The upper grille booster must be properly installed in the bumper: in the upper part, where the bonnet sealing rubber is installed, the bumper must be on top of the booster and fixed with plastic rivets (unfortunately I did not show it in detail in the video) and then the upper grille is tightly installed in the upper booster. Nothing happens to the bumper due to speed if it is assembled correctly
I am at the point of removing the old lower reinforced to install the new one. Is it easier to just cut the slots around the tabs to remove the old one? Greatly appreciate any help.
Yes, if you are not going to save old lower reinforced that you want to cut because it removes hardly. But it still possible to remove it without damages. I did that successfully. Let me know if you still need any help.
What did you use at the top of the bumper in the holes? Where bumper cover meets the plastic frame. Mine was tore off in accident 😅 Now I don't have a reference.
Hi, what specific part are you asking? Lower reinforce grill (68260158AA price here www.mymoparparts.com/oem-parts/mopar-lower-reinforced-68260158aa) taking off really hard, parts could be damaged if be not accurate. Remain parts install and replace easy.
@@_demon1k_ Yes thank you for getting back. I have a gap where upper grill meets the bumper along that lower edge as the tabs go thru the slots, several don't lock into place. I found on the removed bumper grill assembly they used a black adhesive on the backside where the bumper tabs engage the upper grill's lower tab slots. I'm thinking these push on clips may allow for a tighter joint and use a glue as well. Not sure which adhesive would be best here.
@@_demon1k_ Thank you, yeah it looks like the collision shop who replaced this before broke a few of those tabs and used an adhesive. I'm working with new OEM parts, but I'll come up with a solution for a good fit
@@_demon1k_ Turns out I have some poorly fitting parts and the upper grill is not overlapping the bumper as it should, it comes to a flush butt joint which is not right. I'll have to rethink this and maybe order another grill insert from Dodge
Thanks man , quick question I ordered a different bumper cover I believe it’s the hellcat version but it still fits my 2018 r/t challenger however this bumper cover cancels out the fog lamp area. So my question is should I use that same diagram or do you have any suggestions I’m kinda in a pickle with that. Thnks
This video helps alot , couldn't find one showing how to put this grill assembly on the bumper thanks!

Can you do mine?
One of the hardest bumpers to build and don't pay enough time
Some elements are difficult to assemble, but overall a fairly well-thought-out and understandable design

Does the bezel near to top (2:52) that goes around the lights only use clips in the corners? Or are there clips along the bottom part also?

The upper grille can't set in place. Either the bumber goes off or the grille. What's the reason? Is it speed?
