Awesome! This is only part 1, I talk about having to trim it to fit my 2009, idk what year car you have so just keep in mind you might have or might not have the fitment issues I had.
TIRADO RACING I have a 2015 r/t that a recently procharged. This widebody is the most anticipated upgrade. Hopefully it goes well. Thank you for the time you put in your videos. 👍🏽
@@Riveraharry75 I think i found you on instagram, I sent a DM, if you questions or want to see it up close i can send pics and videos. Im playing catch-up on video edits and posts, but the kit is painted and on the car lol you can peep it on my insta as well!
@prochargedmopar15 when you finish installing your kit please post pics or videos I’m looking to buy and explain the process..I have a 2015 HC and really wanna know if it fits well without modding much
Hey very helpful video. Just one question because I want to do this for my 2013 392. To upgrade lights would I be looking for lights of a 2013 model or 2015 onwards as fitting might be different after this install?
You need 2015+ headlamps. Do NOT BUY 2015 “styled” headlights for your 2013. They absolutely need to be for a 2015 car. Secondly you need an adaptive harness for them to work on your pre 2015 model.
Yea I did put it back in. The problem wasn’t that upper bracket it was the grill hitting the headlights. In my second video installing the bumper I show everything I did to make it fit. Trimming and cutting.
Yes sir, I threw them away. Whatever I took off to make it fit is gone. Now let me be clear I primarily use this car for racing, some of the parts I took off are important in the event of a collision. I’m In no way saying take it off I’m simply showing what it takes to make it fit.
Hey Jim, Yes I cut both the front and the rear and matched the cuts on the flares as well. My car is lowered on bc racing coil overs and now I’m running oem demon wheels on 315/40 tires all the way around.
TIRADO RACING man your car looks great and I won’t to do something similar to my challenger. Since you cut the fender and the flare how did you attach he flare to the car?
Hey man, did you ever put the piece at the 8:09 minute mark back on, or did you just leave it off? Got my bumper coming in tomorrow and wondering if I need to take that part off.
@@TIRADORACING do you know what purpose that foam and corner pieces serve and if models that come stock with this bumper have similar parts there from factory? I don't mind taking them off if I need to but I would like to know why they are there.
Bro I have 0 clue. Just don’t be scared if it’s in the way toss it. I wasn’t building a Hellcat oem factory clone or anything so I threw away a lot of crap to cut weight.
I'm looking into ordering a similar bumper kit for my 2014. I know these bumpers need the 2015+ side markers, do they plug into the stock wiring harness, or do I need a newer style? Your car is hella sick btw!
@@PitchPerfectKill did you ever figure this out? I’m looking to get the newer harness and don’t know where to order. Also, which side Markers did you end up getting?
Hey bro I installed my hell cat hood as well on my 09 challenger but where the wipers go I have a gap there and if I wash my car it looks like water can go in to my engine do you have the same problem?
Mine came with that foam too, I didn’t use it because weight reduction lol but just like I told the other guy I would contact them directly. Really weird they don’t have hardware with them
The old side marker lights don’t fit the widebody. I used widebody side markers. A 15+ side marker harness. Spliced that into my old harness and it worked. It’s in a RUclips video here somewhere I show exactly how to do it and what part number to buy. I think the video is titled “wiring sidemarkers” or something like that
No clue brother. If their conversion headlights and are still the same size then no. I think those headlights just “look” like 15+ headlights that fit in 14 and below bumpers so no they won’t work. You’ll need actual 15+ headlamps that are smaller
@@TIRADORACING okay so say if i want to do a face lift to my car, will everything im trying to change on the front end have to be from the newer models?
@mryoungman. Yes. Bumper, upper grille, lower grilles, side markers, headlights. I ground down a lot of the hellcat fascia for it to work with my older headlights.
@@sstevenn correct! headlights from a 2015+ because their smaller, adapter wiring harness to make them work, bumper, grilles (upper and lower), and so on.
That gap is from a seal you need to transfer. Your not the first person to say “there’s a gap”. You need to install a new weather strip seal on the front bumper
so i have the front bumper and side flare kit, i’ll be getting demon wheels on all 4 corners and going 305’s in back and 275’s in front. will i have fitment issue? the rim is 18 inch. (scat pack 392) 2015
Idk where you got your demon wheels from, but here’s what I read. The oem demon wheels will NOT clear the 6 pot brembo brake calipers The demon front brake calipers are smaller and closer to the design of the 4 pot brembo brake calipers. I have a 2009 srt8 so I have 4 pot brembos and they fit just fine. Clearing the brembos is the only fitment issue with the oem demon wheels. Of course those wheels are 18x11 and if your running those just be aware you might have clearance issues with your fenders and you might have to cut.

So do I need to cut my fenders if my car isn’t lowered? What if I put 275’s all round and put spacers would I still need to cut my fenders? Because I watched two other videos and they had to cut their car fenders in order to make it fit with the tires! I don’t know if I need to do it too because they had their car lowered.
I’m not saying to do this I’m just saying what others have done. stock ride height does not need to cut the fenders. @whipswitwavy on Instagram and RUclips is stock height no cutting. 275 is the width of the tire not the sidewalk height, you could literally throw 335’s on there but it won’t make the tire taller. The second number is sidewall height. I run 315/40/18, a 40 sidewall is pretty tall*
I plan on making the switch later, I actually made it fit which I’ll show in the next video. I wanted to sort of give options. The 2015 headlamps and adaptive harness aren’t cheap lol I shaved down parts of the bumper and where the headlamps mount and got it to fit. You can see pics on my Instagram. It is not impossible it just takes a little patience and work.
