Hey trying to do this I have the front end all together….. what was your solution to get the lower belly pan? That’s the last thing I need to figure out… thanks mannnn your car looks great
This video is pretty old my solution was to not use one and use the mfr engineering chassis mounted front splitter lol Thank you! I appreciate the feedback!
Appreciate it! And the small benefit of the functional air scoop doesn’t justify the price (to me). $1400 in lights, $200 adaptive harness. That’s $1600 towards a blower or something else lol.
I got the flares for my 16 hellcat and then ordered the front lip as well. I don’t see how the lip works with the flare piece that goes over the front side marker. Did u have to trim that piece any? And did u have to drill into it to keep the lip attached?
I had cut the ears off and lined it up to look like oem, drilled holes into the flare and the lip on the backside and used rivets. Here’s the crazy part, I ordered an oem widebody front lip and it was pretty much exactly the same as the vicrez lip. So don’t waste your money doing that their the same. It’s the flare that is different. Some people buy oem lower front flare and modify their bumper for that and then the lip will line up oem. I since have gone oem front and back.
@@TIRADORACING appreciate the reply. Sucks because I already had the flares and all painted, and then ordered the lip to find that it doesn’t fit over or under the flare with the running light. Since u cut the ears off, did it not cause issues since it wasn’t bolted to the actual bumper anymore?
@@TIRADORACING also, did u put on/rivet the lip after or before u glued down the flares? Sorry for all the questions. Just wanna do it right the first time around
Not a problem at all, if you have Instagram I can send you pictures and video. Mine is @tiradoracing. It’s easier than trying to explain it in text. I still have the old bumper and flares and lip.
I have a 2016 Hellcat Challenger. I have the fender flares kit and demon style front chin from vicrez. Why is there a gap on both sides of the front chin and the body of the car? PLEASE HELP
Because the front bumper flare portions are completely different than oem while the chin spoiler they provide is pretty much oem (I purchased a mopar one thinking it was the problem) The problem is the front flares on the bumper. People have bought oem flares for the front bumper and it lines up decent, and you can then use the front lip and it lines up. Hope that helps, sadly it means your going to spend more money and more time mocking up the oem flare to your bumper.
Yes it makes sense! I need to find the OEM flares for the front at least and I have to try and remove the current flares which are "fender bonded" on! Yea I'm in for a ride...
Hey wassup man beautiful car! I wanted to ask you on the front bumper side markers did your stock harness work with the new side markers for the hellcat bumper?
Hey man! And no they do not directly wire in. You have to get the 15+ harness cut and splice it into your old one so the connectors connect into the side markers. I never did this because i was rushing for We Are Mopar in Dallas. Now that it’s cancelled I’m fixing all the little things so I will make a video showing how to do it once I start. Maybe within the next 30 days I will have a video out brother.
Hey man! Great vid! What side markers did you end up purchasing? Looking to get this bumper but didn’t know which side markers I needed. I know they have to be upgraded correct?
Well my side markers came with my vicrez wide body kit which are hellcat widebody side markers. So you’ll need that and a widebody front turn signal harness. I had found it on eBay for $100 and made a video in it. Idk which video anymore it’s been a while.
@@TIRADORACING I called Vicrez today and they didn’t really help. I have no idea where to find a 2015 and up challenger side marker wiring harness. Could I just buy the side marker lights from somewhere like American Muscle, but they don’t come with the updated harness, just the actual side markers, but then I would need the newer challengers Wiring harness because the 08-14 challengers use a different harness? Is that correct?
I can’t speak on behalf of a company I don’t work at, but what’s in my video is what I got in my order, the widebody front splitter. Might just be a mistake on the website you know? But if you want to know for sure just give them a call! Their more than friendly!
Sometime next week. Just to be clear it’s not going to be a full blown install with glue. Flares with glue is just like flares with tape. Just replace the tape with the glue and follow the Same steps. It was going to be redundant to make a whole new video with the same steps. Instead I glued one side and left one side taped to show where the tape failed to hold and show how the glue worked. I’ll show how to glue one flare on camera but I’m not going to redo the entire install video with glue. But if you ever have any questions feel free to DM me on Instagram! I always reply and try to help as much as I can!
Did you watch the video all the way? Those are the stock 2009 headlamps. I just painted them and tinted the faces. I also modified the bumper and headlamp mounting tabs so they would fit with the Hellcat bumper. Oh ok so you ended up staying with the oem headlights? I have a 2010 and I bought the late model headlights and hellcat front bumper kit after watching your video a while back and I was looking for the wire harness

You have vland head lights behind your hellcat bumper ? Someone told me it’ll look funny ? If so it actually looks good with out purchasing the actual 2015 headlights
Hey Gerald! Thanks for reaching out, no I have the stock headlamps that came with the car. I think in this video I show you how I made them look good. I have headlamp tint on them already. Then I had to grind (as seen in the video) to make them clear the bumper since Hellcat headlamps are smaller. Then I taped the face of the headlamps and traced out how much of the headlamps show. I cut the surrounding tape off leaving the face of the light taped and cleaned them and applied plastic paint promotor then painted them in matte black trim black so no chrome from the original headlamps show. And the result is what you see lol you can see pics on my Instagram too @tiradoracing. I hope this helps!
Thanks man! The hardest part is the trimming to clear the older headlamps but I made it work! You can also buy 2015+ headlamps and Steve white parts sells an adapter harness for them to work on the older gen challengers.

So the splitter on the bottom came from them to, or just the bumper
