    • @pluckyduck11y
      @pluckyduck11y 7 лет назад +30

No she didn't. She proved that facts matter more than feelings and preconceived bias. She even admits that she was biased against GZ and her reasons for this bias were not fact based, but emotionally based. Based on the facts and evidence and testimony, she admits there was no way to prove murder.
She admits that the law contradicts her bias. Her bias was admitted when she said she WANTED to find "anything" that would prove Zimmerman broke the law. That's what she wanted. This was predetermined conclusion on her part, which shows a level of contempt that makes it highly questionable how someone that biased could ever end up on a jury. She WANTED this to be a murder. Think about how sick that is.
How twisted and demented must you be to actually DESIRE murder instead of justification for a killing?
This woman is so dishonest and biased that her great epiphany during this trial was that "oh wow, just because I want something to be true, doesn't mean that it is" and "just because someone is killed after brutally assaulting someone, does not make it murder."
This is a woman so ignorant that she was actually surprised to learn that in order to prove murder, you have to prove it was intentional. No matter how badly her sick mind desired murder, there was no evidence to prove it.
How the FUCK can you condemn someone for murder when you admit there is not enough evidence? That shows pure contempt in your heart rooted in bias which corrupts your mind.

+dommiepooh85 Because juror b37 is White, and she has a mentality that's similar to a parent defending their child. No matter the circumstances, she starts with a bias and everything is filtered through that bias. In a he said, she said event, the parent is going to side with their child. That's just the way it is. There's no mystery to it, and even when the evidence points against their child, the parent will continue to excuse their child's behavior, often times to ridiculous extents... short of a video existing and George Zimmerman making a sworn confession, there was no way juror b37 was going to come to any other conclusion. And can you necessarily blame her? What parent doesn't want to defend their child? What parent thinks they're doing anything wrong by "defending" their child... what we need is more understanding on both sides. BLM needs to understand most of these people who defend George Zimmerman are not doing so because they are consciously racist. They actually have good hearts and a good sense of morals and are trying to do the right thing. What those who defend George Zimmerman need to understand is they have not walked a mile in the other man's shoes and experience is the ultimate teacher. They should be aware there things they do not understand because they have not experienced. They need to understand they are the 16 year old cocky teenager who thinks they know everything, and they're not listening to their older, wiser parent who is trying to educate them for the benefit of everyone involved. They should listen. They should try to understand it also comes from a place of love.

Michael Bowman You talk like a psycho it’s a RUclips discussion ffs. There are key pieces of the altercation that no one can prove due to lack of evidence, 1. Being the intention of why Trayvon went back. We know why George went out and his current mindset was after getting off the phone was to keep Trayvon in sight or else detain him himself. The second part of the story no evidence can prove is who started the physical altercation, like I told the other guy the defense is in control of how they tell the story since there is nothing else that can disapprove them. So George said Trayvon punched him, got ontop, and was beating him. This is 100% true but where the defense is able to tell a story no opposition can contest due to lack of evidence is that Trayvon reaches for Zimmerman’s gun, George saw him see it and decided to pull it and shoot him first . The reality of the situation is that there are parts to the story that are interchangeable and able to be manipulated. You can change key parts of what happened and there would be no way to disprove that you are lying. Any rational lawyer can see and use that aspect of the case to win and that’s exactly what happened. Trayvon wasn’t a hoodied hero he was still just a 17 year old kid

According to Trayvon's girlfriend, Trayvon lost George and made it home safe. Did Trayvon go inside the house?
No, Trayvon decided to go back 100 yards in the dark and the rain to find George.

B29 oversold her story regarding the jury instructions. Maybe at one time she believed there needed to be proof Zimmerman left his house with the intent of killing Trayvon in order to convict on manslaughter. But there is no way she could still believe this at the time of - or after - her final vote. As well, she does not appear to be telling the truth when she says she wanted to hang the jury and was the last holdout - until the end.
Lisa Bloom wrote a book about this case, called "Suspicion Nation", and in it she uses Maddy as the Introduction to the book, called "The Sixth Juror". On page 19, Bloom writes *"After ten hours of deliberations they took their first vote. Maddy, crushed, voted not guilty".* You must understand, Lisa Bloom wrote this book in part, and this particular chapter, specifically, as an advocate for Maddy. Lisa Bloom's book and Maddy's own words (in this interview) seem to attempt the same goal: garner empathy for Maddy. Is Maddy deserving of this empathy? I do empathize with her situation and her difficulty managing it, but that should not give her license to manipulate and misstate the truth. Maddy never voted guilty, even though three other jurors did (as it has been widely reported the first vote was split 3-3). Maddy oversold her story, and she loses credibility because of it. Lisa Bloom's book is even more egregiously manipulative. I don't think people should be "hating" on Maddy. She lacked the skills to wade through a confusing mess of a trial - and did not volunteer for any of it. Lisa Bloom has exceptional skills and did volunteer to be a part of the trial (covering it "gavel to gavel" and then writing a book about it). Lisa Bloom has no excuses.

According to Trayvon's girlfriend, Trayvon lost George and made it home safe.
Then 3 1/2 minutes later Trayvon is 100 yards north of the home where he was staying confronting George.
Trayvon sucker punched George in the face breaking his nose.
Then Trayvon got George down and straddled him MMA style.
Trayvon started hitting George and banging his head against the concrete.
George took a beating for over a minute while he was yelling for help and no one helped him.
As George was struggling to get loose, his jacket rose up revealing his gun.
George thought that Trayvon was going for his gun so he blocked Trayvon's arm, grabbed his gun and shot Trayvon in the chest killing him in self defense.
George never followed Trayvon, George only tried to follow in the direction that Trayvon ran for about 15 seconds and George stopped when the dispatcher advised him to.
Even though Trayvon ran south towards the back gate, George walked east to the next street as he continued to talk to the dispatcher for another minute and a half.
If Trayvon Martin hadn't gone back to find George, Trayvon would have lived.
Trayvon was a violent punk, who was rarely disciplined, and he thought that he could get away with whatever he wanted.
Trayvon called himself a gangsta and his handle was No Limit Nigga.
      The bullet was Trayvon's limit.

You have to take into account that Zimmerman did in fact stop following as directed by the dispatcher and was there at the T approx 20 yards from his car. Trayvon had run off in the dark 100 yards to the south then returned and assaulted Zimmerman.
So now you know he didnt start it and he did comply. This was all proven in court.

Guess what? Unlike you and so many others, the jury was in possession of the details of the case. They made their decision based on what they knew about the case. There was not enough evidence to conclude Zimmerman was guilty, therefore the jury was required to acquit Zimmerman because of that lack of evidence. Your beliefs regarding this case, based on God knows what, is not because you are in possession of the details.
