    Look at the physical evidence, lack of marks on Trayvon. As Zimmerman was going back to his car, he was attacked, look at the injuries on Zimmerman.
    Not only was their a lack of evidence suggesting he killed Trayvon in cold blood, there was evidence against it. I'm not sure what you're suggesting here, but I see nothing wrong with the conduct of the people in that court.

      @chrisjohnson-4346 You weren't there either and yet, the facts are on my side.
      If you think someone should get locked up for defending themselves (i.e. Zimmerman, Kyle Rittenhouse), you're against social justice and you need mental help.

    The Simpson case has no relation to this. This was a stranger on stranger crime not domestic violence involving a well known public figure. If you were followed by a stranger in a car while walking home, then he gets out and physically confronts you, would you not defend yourself as Trayvon Martin did, then during the attack on your person he pulls out a gun and shoots you. Would you then agree that the stranger who had followed you in his car was merely defending himself from you?

Zimmerman was confident to follow someone, so for all we know he could have approached trayvon, but we only have zimmermans story and not trayvon, he got away lightly.

    From a non-emotional perspective, the Prosecution didn't want the case & did a poor job.
    1.) Ms. Jeantel should NEVER been put on as a Pros witness.
    2.) This was a "detail case" & every bit of material from the cellphone should have been introduced.
    3.) Pros should have made Manslaughter case; NOT Murder 2
    4.) PD officers at scene should have been questioned more carefully.
    5.) Emotional appeals should have been kept away from dialog.
    6.) President should NEVER have made any statement re case.

    So pretty much a neighborhood-watch guy followed a 17yo that went out to buy skittles and iced tea. After calling the police and informing the operator that he's following someone who he thought looked on drugs, the operator tells him they didn't need him to follow him and they sent a patrol; the guy confronts the teenager regardless who defends himself against a stranger that was following him. The stranger is found not guilty by every juror because of Florida law and now guilty-neighborhood-watch-guy is suing the parents of the kid that was just tryna get some skittles and iced tea for 100 mil.

    This is just common sense, Zimmerman's out there, with a gun, looking to confront a 6' black guy who he's obviously nervous about. Yes, it's 'his fault' for creating the situation, but there's just no plausible scenario where Zimmerman would have initiated the physical confrontation, if anything he would have just pulled his gun then and there. All the evidence shows that Martin initiated the physical confrontation, Zimmerman was an asshole, but he didn't break the law.

    The entire thing would not have happened if George didn’t approach Trayvon. I myself, George Zimmerman and many others would have wished for that in hindsight. However, simply approaching someone and asking a question is not illegal nor unjust. There is a reason why this guy was acquitted of the charges. Because Trayvon was a young black man should play ABSOLUTELY no role when looking at the evidence and reaching a conclusion to the verdict. Unfortunately, many emotionally charged demented people don’t understand this.. they would rather focus on the fact that Trayvon was a young BLACK man. That’s all that some really care about, and this whole frame of thinking needs to be stopped ASAP!

    We all know that he approached Trayvon...however we don't know who was the first to physically assault the other. That's what this is about. Zimmerman shouldn't have verbally confronted Trayvon, but since we don't know who started the physical confrontation (who threw the first "punch"), then you can't throw him in jail.

    • @dantheman7145
      @dantheman7145 6 лет назад

      Chris Hebert How do you know George approached Trayvon? Trayvon ran and was out of sight for 4 min. Confirmed by when George told the dispatcher he is running. And Trayvon told Racheal Jeantel on the phone I am running. Then told Racheal that I am by daddy's back door. 4 min until the first 911 call comes in about hearing a scuffle. So exactly how does George approach Trayvon when he did not know where Trayvon was. But somehow Trayvon ended up going back to the T-intersection. So it looks like Trayvon went back, confronted and attacked George. That's the evidence presented in court. Not Guilty. The lawful use of deadly force in self defense.

    Really. So you're saying that you will NEVER be in Trayvon Martin's shoes where you could be targeted? Hmm. Good luck with reality - there are no guarantees in life. If it happens someday and you find yourself being followed - enjoy the moment of realization where you remember this post - "I told you so."

    The unfairness of life everyone. Life is nothing if not unfair, while a young black teenager never gets to travel the world, never gets to meet his kids for the first time, is killed without good reason, there is a fat evil man breathing air he has no right to, is walking around as free as the birds while Trayvon will never see the light of day again, the unfairness of life.

    Simple. Zimmerman got away with murder. If he had stayed in the car as directed by 911, Trayvon would be alive today. Trayvon's last momments must of been terrifying. An unknown adult male was after him for reasons unknown to him.

    It's not a movie is a book, that is the most comprehensive/impartial/objective study ever undertaken to determine the origins of so-called Patriachal Culture -- (mean tings like Slavery and pederacy yeah?) -- and lo and behold, the same people who invented FGM invented it, i.e. misoginy and slavery, and child abuse, down in Sudan, and Niger, and Chad, in 4000 bc, and you're descended from them. Sorry 'bout that. Truth hurts right? ...

  • @lfimaim
    @lfimaim 11 лет назад +2

    It's actually the complete opposite. The facts of the case are crystal clear, yes Zimmerman's an asshole, yes, he's a wannabe cop, yes he profiled Trayvon Martin. None of that is illegal, the only person who broke the law that night was Martin, when he escalated the verbal interaction to a physical confrontation.
    There has been a lot of media bias in this case and the vast majority has been against Zimmerman.

    Yet you can only argue with insults and not the facts of the case.
    Zimmerman's nose was broken and the back of his head was bashed in. Race doesn't enter into why I believe Martin initiated the physical confrontation, it's just common sense. Zimmerman had a gun, he had no reason to physically assault Martin.

  • @TheSmokinBear

    What does that have to do with the fact that Zimmerman followed Martin and initiated the confrontation? Wouldn't you defend yourself against a stranger who had followed you then attacked you? If, during the fight you ended up on top of the guy that wouldn't change the fact that he started the fight.

    The stand you ground law is the problem because under the law if Martin had killed Zimmerman he would also have been protected. Whoever wins the gun battle is then amnestied regardless of whether they started the fight or not. Anyone can carry a gun start fights and shoot any person they feel is a threat with no need to try to deescalate the problem.

  • @lfimaim
    @lfimaim 11 лет назад

    Yes, well the fact that 'he suffered no bruises I am aware of' just shows that you didn't follow the facts of the case at all.
    Zimmerman's nose was broken and the back of his skull was cut up from hitting the concrete.
    Google the photos of Zimmerman if you're actually interested in the facts.

    That is a collection of statistics that completely ignore factors like poverty, drug addiction, and other very important factors in committing crime. It would be like saying gay men commit 500% more sodomy than straight men. While it might be true, there are other factors than the men being gay or straight.

      ogjuggalo4545 defending himself in an altercation he created by himself. There was no need for him to follow Trayvon and he was also instructed by the police to not follow the Trayvon. Yet he went above what was necessary to create a situation which would OBVIOUSLY frustrate Trayvon. Had he not followed Trayvon unnecessarily this whole mess would not have happened. Don’t be selective about information, that only just shows you’re supporting Zimmerman for unbecoming reasons

    • @TheMarcymark
