I went two months without my touchpad. I found a phone number for Acer support and in seconds my touch pad worked by pressing the F7 key on my laptop. F7 key locks or unlocks your touchpad.

I have my sister's old laptop and when I first turned it on there was no mouse thing, I searched on RUclips how to fix it in my phone, I did would you did but it didn't work so, I figured I would just turn it off and on again and it worked, I guess this laptop is just really bad
